Hmm, when I go to the store it doesn't say I own it, and has the $19.99 price instead. But it is still under Ready to Install, even after a hard console reset. If I just click on the icon it starts to Install, but if I go under Manage Games and Add-ons, nothing comes up. Pretty sure it will stop disappear at some point, and I don't really want to try and play it for the first time after the refund was already issued.

The preorder bonus Collection is still working for me, I don't want to delete and re-download 39 gigs to test it further. Neither my refund email nor my actual purchase history ever mentioned it.
 
They could have done the searching for a partner bit before letting everyone go. Surely the people who worked on this season won't be returning and I can't support that kind of move. No one should work with this company as long as the current management is in charge. As much as I would like the season to be completed this doesn't seem like the right way. The "in some form" screams in game movie or comic book to me.

Someone from the ex team should just spoil the shit out of it. A la Half Life 2 episode 3.

This is good to hear, but I still would have went for the refund. "Some form" could mean lots of stuff. From the sounds of things the devs were posting on Twitter, a new source of money would have to materialize very quickly. They may already have lost key people permanently, especially if the plan is only to finish the episodes.

If they manage to pull it off and put out a halfway decent product I'll re-buy it later, but only after it's completed.
 
Why does Shadow of War appear on the front page of CAG for $6? When I click the link it takes me to a product page that can't buy, then redirects to a $25 version.

Comic makes the most sense to me, but the only real involvement Telltale could probably have there is writing and art direction. I don't know that they would have anyone capable of making decent comic quality art, or writers familiar to format. I definitely see Kirkman and his company being one of the partners that stepped up.

Outside of that maybe some sort of animated deal so the voice actors can be a part of it, but that would be a big enough expense to not make a ton of sense.

Both of these ideas don't scream interactive decision making, but that's probably where we are now. If there were any real idea to make the actual episodes 3 and 4, we'd already now about them. Hell, as shit as the management is this might have been a foolish gamble to get some publisher to bail them out, but it doesn't work when they already fired everyone.
 
Ugh, I bought the Shadow of Mordor Season pass, then traded the disc in during a gamestop sale. I acually cannot buy the vanilla Shadow of Mordor digitally. What crap.

Ugh, I bought the Shadow of Mordor Season pass, then traded the disc in during a gamestop sale. I acually cannot buy the vanilla Shadow of Mordor digitally. What crap.

Was the DLC a worthwhile experience though?

I have the season pass digitally with no disc. Batman Arkham Knight & Sunset Overdrive come to mind.

 
Hmm, 50 days from now puts us at November 13... prime time for a Black Friday-ish 2 week sale to begin. Interesting that the new TR is counting down to that. Might be when I bite.
Thanks as always for posting the deals, Bloomy. And as others have stated, thanks for the drawing for Forza. I’m not enough of a racing game fan fo enter and take the chance away from someone who wants it. Plus I have GamePass so if/when I want to try it, it’ll be there.

Last year, the Black Friday deals were live on Wednesday, so I'm hoping to start seeing a bunch of stuff this weekend. If I'm not too busy playing FH4 or getting the last 777 Gears 4 kills I need for the Ruby Scion.

A game well worth a playthrough, or 2 with the new game plus. Great story telling, and the artstyle is fantastic. Gameplay is great too and its fun to try all the different weapons and to find which one suits your style of combat.

So apparently they fixed the points crusader and now my wild kingdom and moongate points are checked off but I still didn’t get the points.

Just tried on my sons account that I never use and got all 4 checked and still no points so I guess they’re not immediate.

As is usual at 12:01am Eastern on a Tuesday, Major has been tweeting up a storm of new titles and pre-purchase releases.

But still no Hollow Knight.  Its past 10pm here on the west coast and I was really hoping we'd see something by now.
