So for those of you that got the Badlands quest to register as complete AND also received Game Pass 3 months? How long did it take for that to show up? I saw the 2500 rewards increase but no code or message about Game Pass and mine expires this Friday.
 
So on the website it shows that A Hat in Time should have a 40% discount, but still shows full price when trying to buy, hope it triggers the right price soon.

The game pass should be in the redeem section and the cost should be 0.

They only have select times they're actually running the beta. The times that are left for xbox:

November 1 - 2pm to 7pm EST
November 3 - 5pm to 9pm EST
November 4 - 2pm to 9pm EST

Thanks. Yeah I hate time specific betas, but I get why the do it, just leaves me with a limited window after work.

Still don't know if I should keep my pre-order. Loved F4, but this seems way different.

I played a couple hours last week. Hoping I can get one more session in. I'm a little worried that it will be thin on quests compared to 4. Think I currently have the main quest and one side quest.

The next session is scheduled from 2pm-7pm EDT tomorrow. I tried to get in on the session yesterday and it stalled on the load screen. I'm likely going to can my pre-order at GS. I have a feeling it's going to be an overhyped, majorly bugged mess right off the bat.

If anyone still is looking for Just Cause or the Castlevania games that went BC, Gamestop still has them, and they qualify for the 4/$20 sale going on now.

You could be right. Fallout 4 is definitely on its way out though. It's listed on the Game Pass screen on my XBox as leaving soon.

The Fallout 4 time is counting down to the day before (not my)Fallout 76 comes out. I could see them possibly removing this from gamepass to trick people into getting the new game instead. I guess I should hurry up and finish the standard vanilla game up now just in case. I've already spent 100 hours just messing around so I should get it over with for now and wait for an eventual goty sale.

You're not exploring much then. I had so many quests the first beta I had to hide them all they were taking up so much of my screen.

That's good to know. I did spend most of the 2 hours of the beta I played exploring the wilderness since I didn't want to spend the entire time replaying the main story for a second time. I did stumble upon a few side quests I hadn't seen during the stress test but they were just things like "loot these stashes." I did get one that was to go to a location I found on a postcard or something and once I arrived it triggered a live event or something, that was pretty cool.

What do you mean by replaying the main story for a second time? Did they reset people's progress between beta sessions?

picked up LoS and came with unused codes for the DLC, sadly the Mirror of Fate HD code was used, also picked up Batman Origins since it is BC and not available Digital, they had a copy of Redout for xbox, checking store parser it shows its never been less than $20 since release and it qualified for the 4 for 20, they claimed they had LoS2 also but upon checking they couldnt find it... picked up some other crappy game to make it 20 and will head to another Gamestop to see if I can return/rebuy or if they let me exchange the game directly. Also another good pickup might be Brutal Legend since it seems it has not been in sale as long as Store Parser can check, it is $5 if you can find it and of course it qualifies for the 4 for 20.

I have only played one beta session, but I don't believe they have been. The stress test progress that took place before the beta did not transfer over.
 
The Forzathon that's about to end seems to be busted. The final task is to get 10 daredevil skills, which requires you to get multiple near miss skills in succession. The problem is there are no cars on the roads in the open world. Anywhere. I saw two cars once and they disappeared in front of me.

For 360 games you need a credit card. For XBox One games you do not. I have a Visa prepaid card on my account with 2 or 3 cents on balance left on it. That allows me to grab the GWG 360 games with no issue. I think Paypal also works but not 100% sure on that.

You can add XB1 GwG games to your account with a trial. For 360, you need at least a 1 month subscription.

Try going into solo mode. I had the same problem with that one yesterday or the day before. Could only find other players' cars and no drivatar / AI cars. Went solo and found plenty.

I also had this issue I think a few times. I think the winter one also had near miss or something like that too. I ended up just stopping my car in the middle of the road and a snow plow eventually came up behind me with several cars behind it.

it does make it easier to do the drifting though. I am horrible at it. I only had one 3 star location in FH3 (in Blizzard mountain). I have been able to 3 star 12 of the 20 in FH4 so far. Still have to figure out the dirt drift zones. Other then having the a better car and setting it to manual I am not really any better at it. Not running into other cars (And most of the time not even seeing other cars) makes it easier. I know lots of times the cars are ghosted which also helps.

The Overachiever achievement is glitched for me so far. Hopefully they get this fixed soon.

yeah traffic cars seem to get bugged after a Forzathon live. I also just went into solo mode, got on the wrong side of the freeway and did that challenge in a minute.

It's wonky. I was updating Minecraft and it kept stopping and finally got a message stating Live was having issues.

Seems FH3 and FH4 may have the same tasks. If you're referring to FH3, which I started about a month ago, you can complete it in the city area on the right side of the map. Plenty of cars there.

I think I have 2 stars on all the drift zones, but only 3 stars on enough to pop the L10 achievement. Will take a bit of prep for the rest. Currently at 91% for 3 starring the PR stunts. Finished all the traps, have a handful of speed zones and danger signs.

Ghosting other cars when you're in a speed or drift zone was a great addition, that was a major pain to deal with in FH3. Also the fact that other cars continue on their way while you're rewinding, so they aren't there when you start again.

Thankfully Overachiever popped for me. Though the seasonal PR stunt doesn't always show up on the map. Maybe it's related to the same issue blocking the achievement.

Thanks. That seems to have worked. Was on the highway when going back to the Live mode and all of the cars disappeared once again.

 
Bloomy, countless hordes of small, horrifying miniature people keep coming to my door - wearing hideous outfits - and demanding that I give them things. How can I make them stop?

EDIT: Nope, didn't work, after all. Now its just their taller, less costumed siblings. Its after 8:45pm and they're literally decorating themselves for the occasion with nothing but pants and a t-shirt, and my lights are off.

Here's a trick for you, The sprinklers start in thirty seconds!

Give them toothbrushes, apples and oranges. Word of mouth will spread and, aside from a few weirdos, they'll stop coming to your door soon enough. Though you might have to hose some egg residue off your house tomorrow.

My company appears to have survived the evening. Processing videos coming from doorbell cameras throughout the country makes Halloween the craziest night of the year. Thankfully, I didn't need to do anything besides make snarky comments and eat pizza.

So those playing RDR2.....does it get 'better'?

I'm so disappointed with this game.I don't like the character. Too many systems to keep track of, too many upgrades to juggle. The map gets covered with fog of war when you reload? Seriously? I don't want to keep track of my core, or if I need to wear a warmer outfit. Who the hell asked for all that?!

Maybe I'm just old man griping, but there is NONE of the magic of RDR in this for me. I don't get hyped for many games, this was one and boy it's a let down.
 
The first game is one of my favorite games of all time. RDR2 I just can’t sit and play much of. I hope it gets better but I don’t want to stop and feed my horse or brush it when it gets dirty or change my clothes because I’m cold outside. I just can’t get into it like I did the first one.

I don't think I should go into that (and I don't know how or which 3rd parties are involved anyway). I think we were about 40 minutes behind at the worst point, but our queues were caught up about a half hour ago when most of the West Coast was wrapping up trick-or-treating.

 
I'm loving RDR2 haven't done a story mission since last Saturday, in fact haven't been to the actual "camp" since last Saturday. Just going around exploring stuff and doing the hunting, marksman, survivalist etc... challenges. I'll make a camp at night and cook a piece of meat I got from hunting once in awhile I'll take the 1 second to brush the horse or feed it but hasn't felt required or getting in the way. My advice would be to use the stuff you find because you're always getting more, you'll always be full inventory. 

 
I thought I was down to 4 achievements left in FH3 - the 3 for completing championships on all routes in the main game (58/63), Blizzard Mountain (11/26) and Hot Wheels (15/27), plus blueprinting a championship with 100+ miles over 10 events.  When completing the Forzathon championship challenge this past weekend, I completely missed that I also popped the achievement for championships in the base game.  Guess I did championships for the remaining routes in multiplayer.
