Anyone use Gamefly in here?  I usually used the cheap gift certificate method to renew my membership.  Well it looks like they have silently removed the ability to purchase gift certificates on their site.  Looks like it's time to cancel since Game Pass is great and I do not see value in the regular price.

 
I've been using Gamefly since 2002. I have all the consoles, so I get a lot of use out of it. It's really great for trying out obscure titles you wouldn't have otherwise.

If I was just playing on XB1 though, I might consider giving up GF for Game Pass.

Did you try cancelling? I did today and they offered me half off the next month.

I use it more from an educational (read:teacher) standpoint, but Kahoot is a fun way to engage a group of people on a trivia game. You can make your own or choose form tons of premade quizzes. Again, usually this is used for educational review, but there are some non-educational quizzes (cartoon character, disney movie, etc.) So check it out
 
Hello friends, thank you for attending this gathering for this celebration of the life of Games with gold . We are happy to have the company of GWG’s much better looking , more successful, brother GamePass and GWG’s paint chip eating,chemical unbalanced second cousin EA Access in attendance. Yes ,we all agree most months these games were a dumpster fire but that fire sometimes shined bright in our hearts. We will remember the good times(Vanquish,Metal gear 5) and must try to forget the bad (The Deer God, Smite DLC). Let us come together in this time of need and heal as we think of all the future games that would have sat in our backlogs unplayed for years.

I've held off on Sonic Generations for something like 8 years hoping it would be GWG or PS+. I'll take it if its true.

I saw someone post the usual GwG image with the games Bloomy mentioned but haven't seen anything official. I could've sworn portal 2 was GwG before but when I looked it up I found out I was wrong. Was it given way for free some other way? Didn't think I bought it digitally.
 
You’re probably thinking of Portal: Still Alive, which was just GWG. That was just Portal from The Orange Box with added puzzle levels.
 
I was reading more into it apparently gwg was announced at midnight Pacific once according to some reddit users but i don't remember that one.
 
There are so many games to play especially if you have Game Pass so why are people so impatient regarding new Games with Gold? Do you have absolutely nothing to play? I find that impossible to believe.

It was on sale for $2-3 dollars or something silly like that about a year ago, maybe more. I remember because I traded in my disc when I saw the price so low.
 
At this point, MS must be in full blown “drop the bad news at 5pm on Friday and hope no one notices over the weekend” mode. Hey, it works for Wall Street and Capitol Hill.

I've never seen it that low. I would have picked it up. It's always been $4.99 or higher. Portal Still Alive was cheap when I picked it up.

 
New free campaign update for Crackdown 3, 500 more achievements, wingsuit + other gadgets. I know what the wife and I will be playing co-op tonight.
 
I'm just sitting around waiting for GTASC to start for True Achievements website. Kind of wish I didn't complete Supermarket Shriek now since it's all going off TA Ratio but that game was pretty fun. Game Pass games will probably all be highly viable this year. 

 
If those are the GwG, I'd be happy since I have 3/4 physical.  I'm hoping for Peter Jackson's King Kong. I recall having a fun playing it on the OGX and would like to play it again sometime.

 
I played Hollow Knight for a couple hours and I have no clue what I'm supposed to be doing.  Just wandering around killing stuff but don't seem to be accomplishing anything.

Welp, wouldn’t be surprised if the Xbox staff and Major Nelson are gone for the day. Don’t think they’ve ever announced GWG on a weekend and usually the first set would be available Sunday night.

So guess the heat and pool are it folks!
