I buy digital because I can wait for games to drop in price, low storage options for game boxes and I’m too lazy to go to the console and switch discs. Come on, I’m getting old.
 
I go digital because I'm disabled and it's hard for me to switch out discs, and I play multiple games at the same time so it's just more convenient. I get why most prefer physical , but looking at my book library hurts my whole body (i am now digital for books as well) , kinda glad I don't have a huge physical gaming library anymore.

When I copied / pasted the URL from the Chrome address bar into a new post, it pasted it as a link and a preview just showed it as a link. When I pasted the URL into a text editor and copied / pasted it, then it pasted as plain text and a preview showed it embedded.

Edit: Clicking the unlink button in the post editor also works.

The Spring Sale countdowns switched from 10 days to 9 days sometime between 1pm and 6pm Eastern, so an afternoon start. Hope it doesn't overlap with my weekly Thursday 3pm meeting. Because priorities.

I don't drink so Paddy's Day is like the most nothing holiday for me. At least most of the other minor holidays have candy involved in some way.

I'm alright with April Fool's, if nothing else you usually see a few impressive efforts. /r/games is down to draw attention to how bad their shithead commentator problem is, which I'm not sure is going to effective unless they can really step up their mod team, so I haven't seen a real through rundown yet.  I think this is the best one I've seen so far this year.

I think you just highlighted most people's problem with it...overcommercialization (and general douchification). For one, it's St. Paddy's (Patty is short for Patricia). And 2: No self-respecting Irishman would ever touch green beer.

So I should tell my friend Patrick he has been spelling his name wrong all these years? It's both, because it's Paddy in Ireland, but that makes no sense in the US since Padraig (Gaelic original) is spelled Patrick. So it's Patty in the US. Or do you nickname your Patrick friends "Pad" here? Or is it Pat? Yeah, who cares, the owner of that website needs to drink more beer.

EDIT: And disliking St Patricks Day as a holiday is a little much, isn't it? Why not dislike more commercialized bullshit holidays like St Valentines Day, or Halloween, or Christmas? What does St Patricks Day really cost you other than realizing one doesn't have any friends to go out with?
