I think at least one achievement I was never given credit for but was able to get 10 in Metro anyway. Got my 1000 points. Also did the download a game through the app as well for 200 points.

 
Do these quests work for PC games (e.g. using XBox on PC app)? If so, is there anyway to track progress without having an XBOX One Console?

I've gotten credit for quests for playing Play Anywhere games on PC, but haven't tried it yet with games that have distinct Win 10 versions (like ABZU, where the console and PC achievement lists are separate.)

Without a console, you'd have to use the Game Pass phone app. You can manage and claim points for most quests there... however there are some quests (like the Weekly Streak Challenge or whatever it's called) that I've only seen on console.

 
Damn it.. Telltales Guardians of the Galaxy got delisted as well...was hoping I could wait until the new Deals arrived...so I'm stuck with Episode 1 now... at least I pulled the trigger on Batman Enemy Within...so that's safe.

I'd be surprised if Team Sonic Racing isn't on sale for $30 this week. It's already $30 on Switch's eShop, Best Buy, Target, and Amazon. Think I'll wait to see how Crash Team Racing does before picking one up.

 
Ended up buying DMC5 with the MS Rewards points I had redeemed, not a super deal at $40 but the money was going to expire end of July and would have to hope for a better deal on something else I liked or else buy whatever was on sale then, at least did not spend anything out of pocket and I am sure I will play this game pretty soon.

 
There wasn’t much from the sale that I wanted. I’ve become more selective about what I buy which helps keep my wallet pretty safe. I already had the Microsoft credit for Far Cry New Dawn which I intended to buy. Im glad NBA2K19 was free to play that weekend. After finishing the prelude in my career, I decided to pick it up with my remaining credit. I use to love the series but the stories were crap and the micro transactions got way out of hand. This was much better than they have been.
 
If anyone else did the Microsoft survey that was sent via email last week I just got an email with the gift card code, so keep an eye out.
 
I watched Giantbomb's 50 minute interview with Phil Spencer. It's worth watching if you're big on Xbox, he has a lot more real answers than a lot of the PR shit we're generally fed.  Most of it was kind of philosophy talk as to what they're thinking with various decisions, but there were a couple things that stood out to me.

  • When looking to the future, far off like the Xbox Three and not Scarlett, it sounded like digital purchases will be the priority for BC support. I got the impression that Scarlett's BC is planned to work just as it is now, so maybe this is thinking about a possible digital only future.
  • With Too Human, he specifically said he can't talk about the deal that led to it, but the fact that it was free for everyone was important. Likely they can't ever actually sell it again. No real clue who the deal was with. I don't know if Epic can make this call since they won the lawsuit.

I haven't seen anything posted on the public locations. On the Reddit a few physical Fangamer backers said they received their games in the mail today. I'd reach out to Fangamer directly if you really want to know. Maybe they're waiting until the digital versions are available for purchase to send them out.

 
So that Star Wars: Fallen Order game from Respawn is apparently a Metroidvania style game where you upgrade or gain new skills and open up more of the world that way. Alright, I'm a bit more intrigued now...

It might go GwG before being delisted like they did with Forza Horizon 2. IIRC, Forza Motorsport 6 and Forza Horizon 3 are going to be delisted sometime later this year.

I couldn't honestly remember then, lol. I did want to make sure I bought it while on sale opposed to waiting for it GwG. I didn't want it being tied to my sub. I pay games at a very leisurely pace these days, hence the massive backlog.

Historically they are 4 year deals. The outlier might be FH4 since that has a somewhat different deal than previous titles being on gamepass and all though I suspect the length is the same the tweak being allowed on a sub service.

For 35k Bing points you can redeem 3 months of ultimate game pass.That's too damn steep if you ask me.Laslty it looks like they removed the option to redeem for a 12 month Xbox live code....sonuvabitch!

I just checked, and realize perhaps you don't have enough Xbox money to cover the full purchase... which would change the answer. (I have $180 in my account so never thought to check into this)

Well, we'll see what happens. Yeah I didn't quite have enough, about 10 bucks short.

 
Only things I bought in the E3 sale was FFXV and Lichdom. This weeks sale has nothing interesting for me, and I'm sitting on $30 in credit. When's the summer sale?
 
A few things I'm tempted by this week. Don't know if I want to upgrade My time at Portia to digital for 20% off.

Been waiting for the First Tree to go on sale. Probably will get more this week than the E3 sale where all I got was world war z.
