I finally finished all the Crucible / Strike / Gambit stuff and now just need to do a bunch of stuff on the moon and in VO.

Yeah I cleared the new raid and got Divinity but gave up on trying to hit base 960 light (Plue Pokemon S/S released).

I'll log in for some Vex Offensive to hunt a Feeding Frenzy/Multi-Kill Clip roll on the pulse rifle though.

My hope is that Dawn might be easier since the Undying season was shorter due to the Shadowkeep delay. I told myself I wouldn’t do much with Dawn, but that trailer is compelling!

Nothing better than a hard credit hit for a $40 restricted credit. Of course if you plan to use the card then maybe that hit is worth it, but I certainly wouldn't recommend doing it just for the credit.

you're not getting a hard pull on the debit card, which is what I recommended.

 
I'm still not sure about these seasons replacing expansions for the foreseeable future with Destiny. They're slightly cheaper but the actual content is awfully light. The exotic quest for Undying had very little actual content, it was just some text from Banshee and the usual "grind this activity or action" then a harder than normal version of an old strike. Vex Offensive was fine but gets stale fast since it doesn't change at all. The "new version" that came toward the end of the season just cosmetically changed the last boss and a bit of dialogue. I don't know what happens to the loot pool for the related items but apparently the added activity goes away at the end of a season so that blows. Beyond that the additions were about 20 lore pages and a LOT of stuff for the microtransaction store.

Saint-14 is a pretty cool character in the lore, and some of the associated info there has been about him hinted that he would come back even though he was extremely dead. Hopefully this does him justice.

One of the FAQs answered our discussion from the other week though. Buying Shadowkeep by itself will grant whatever season is currently active when you buy it.

Finishing Life Is Strange before it leaves Game Pass

And I know Reach will be a go-to game for TA’s 12 days of Christmas
 
After I thought modern Warfare was done installing another update (92gb) popped up while I went out for a bit and it's not even half done so looks like I won't be playing tonight. Should've known better when it took less than an hour to install everything I thought was the game.

Must look great though, it takes up more space than any of the other 102 games I have installed currently.
 
$1 for hundreds of free games for 6 months, has really made me question why I've ever paid $60 for a game before. It just seems crazy. I may never go back. I think that I'm a GamePass addict.

Do you know about the different ways to get rewards points? It can help pay for game pass just by spending a few minutes a day doing searches and clicking the mouse a bit. There are also quests within game pass and the rewards app on your console.

So Naruto to Boruto and Pedro is tomorrow. Now I'm wondering if we'll get that Sword Art Fatal Bullet game because I was slightly interested in it, but didn't want to spend the money, but Namco seems hella down with Game Pass.

Also my VCR XBox One is running HELLLLLLA slow these days. As in pressing guide button takes a few seconds to pop up or when I go into storage management it takes especially long. Even loading up Far Cry 4 is a chore as in it takes about five minutes to go from start up to an actual game.

I don't pay much attention to it but aren't most physical games getting huge ass patches anyway? I mean if you buy a game on disc because of bandwidth caps aren't you still downloading most of it anyway? Don't most online games force you to update? Or is there still a significant bandwidth savings installing from disc?

Just seems with all the huge patches those with small caps are in trouble anyway.

 
So I purchased the last copy of the The Outer Worlds for Xbox One at my local target that was on display in the main section on Black Friday (the copy that was in the display).  The gold on the cover was shiny and "The Outer Worlds" on the cover was embossed.  I fortunately still have GCU so when the Cyber Monday deals kicked in at Best Buy I rebought the game at a cheaper price and planned to return my Target copy.  However, the Best Buy copy is not shiny like the Target one and there is no "The Outer Worlds" engraving on this copy.  The only other difference I can see is that the Target copy in the plastic wrap on the back has a small message in blue that says "Disc Made In Mexico".  But the language is completely identical to the Best Buy copy and everything is completely listed in English.  For those who have the physical version of the game, does anyone see anything similar on the cover?  Is there any difference between these copies?  I don't seem to see anything listed on the covers that would make one different than the other.

If it gives you any peace of mind, I've had a bunch of games that said "Disc made in Mexico" and doesn't make a lick of difference in the game. Hell, I even have a version of Rise of the Tomb Raider with Spanish on the back instead of English, but when I put it in my XBox it's still in English and all fine and dandy. Also on the subject of XBox on the Game Pass and other nerd talk thread...

At first I was against that idea of an all digital console the beginning of the XBox One generation, but with how heavy Game Pass is a part of XBox now and how I can get games either heavily discounted or for free via Rewards, I'm not really against the idea for next gen.

Yes with ultimate (since it’s gold+gamepass) you get free games every month to keep...

You don’t need to buy games there’s a bunch of games on gamepass you can download and play as long as you got the subscription...when the subscription ends you can no longer play those games. However you can still play the games you received for free monthly.

The embossed shiny one is just a first printing "day one" version. Should be no difference other than that.
