Often overlooked, GoD are by default displayed in dollars both on Xbox.com as well as on the console, but on the very-first confirmation screen of the download process is the option to use Microsoft Points in place of real-world currency.

Through the console, after first selecting to download a GoD you are greeted by a familiar gray confirmation screen that pops up displaying the size of the download as well as confirming the price. At the bottom of this gray pop-up is the instruction to press the "X button" in order to change the payment type to MSP. Pictured below with an arrow:

On Xbox.com they've made it much more obvious, the confirmation "extra step" pop-up after clicking the download link displays a link that simply says "Use Microsoft Points" directly under the price in dollars at the top of the page.
Walking dead episode 2 is showing as 400 pts and all other episodes are at 200 pts.

Is this a pricing error for episode 2?
Yes. Episode 1 should be free & 2 through 5 should be 200 MSP each.
Coming to Xbox Marketplace blog is up.

Neat to see Double Dragon 2 FINALLY coming out, but for $15, I think I'm gonna wait for a sale.
Same here. Whoa, all 3 arcade releases at 1200msp. This won't be a problem for game like Terraria to sell a lot tho.

Thinking about buying Hitman Absolution for 880msp, bit with my huge backlog probably will skip it.
I'd get just cause 2 for $5. What's the link for the Hungarian marketplace? Is there anything special to kniw when buying from that marketplace?
Go back about 10-12 pages and you should see some info on it, or click on my profile page, look at other posts from this thread from 2wks back and you will see people answering mine and others questions concerning hungarian marketplace purchases

Just requires patience. Sometimes the prices don't get updated until later in the morning, even if other things have updated. If you're an XBL Rewards member, given the indication that April's reward will be tied to XBLA purchases, you probably wouldn't want to purchase it today anyway.

Its not region free doe
I'm sorry if this has been answered before, but I did not see it. How do you use the Hungarian market place with a US account?
You need a Hungarian account to buy those games and download it to your system. Then you could play those games with your regular account after downloading those games.

Will they work on my NTSC Xbox?

I agree that the Hungarian discussions should be in a different place. Its too cluttering for this thread.

Anyways. Anyone want to make or find a list of all Microsoft Studios XBLA games? :p (There's a Microsoft Studios sale next week.)
Will they work on my NTSC Xbox?
These games do.
Hitman Absolution
Dead Rising 2
Spider-Man 3
L.A. Noire

Not all of the DLC that has achievements for RE 6 is on sale I've noticed. Siege mode is the one not on sale.

The Hungarian discussions were in a different thread, but that thread got deleted for some unknown reason, that's the reason they're still cluttering this thread. Just cause 2 for $5 would have been a steal but oh well

There you are!
I'm expecting sales tied to past Summer of Arcade titles, so plenty of repeats such as Castle Crashers, 'Splosion Man, LIMBO, Shadow Complex, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, etc... although it'd be nice to see something like the first Dishwasher and Diabolical Pitch on sale too :)

Good find. I was really thinking about getting the 3-mode pack, but screw that.
Looks like not everything is showing discount yet, I just checked some others and they appear to be regular price still.

On a side note does anyone know if these Dead Rising 2 DLC are useful in the game, and or if these can be unlocked just through gameplay. Or are they only available via DLC?

DLC - Ninja skills pack - 80 MSP ($1.00) - 50% off - xdldb
DLC - Sports Fan skills pack - 80 MSP ($1.00) - 50% off - xdldb
DLC - Soldier skills pack - 80 MSP ($1.00) - 50% off - xdldb
DLC - Psycho skills pack - 80 MSP ($1.00) - 50% off - xdldb
As others have said, you can't unlock these in-game. Ninja makes zombies ignore you - very nice when you get tired of them. And Sports Fan makes you run faster - very nice, in my opinion. The other stuff I'd ignore.

360 points for 3 of the 4 dlc is still a pretty good deal. I bought it anyways.

From the listed content below, can anyone tell me which is single-player, which is online multi-player, and which can be done via local (couch) co-op?

Resident Evil 6 and O.R.C.

DLC - RE6:Additional 3-Mode Pack - 360 MSP ($4.50) - 50% off - xdldb

DLC - RE6:Survivors Game Mode - 160 MSP ($2.00) - 50% off - xdldb

DLC - RE6:Onslaught Game Mode - 160 MSP ($2.00) - 50% off - xdldb

DLC - RE6:predator Game Mode - 160 MSP ($2.00) - 50% off - xdldb

DLC - ORC:Echo Six Expansion Pack 1 - 400 MSP ($5.00) - 50% off - xdldb

DLC - ORC:Echo Six Expansion Pack 2 - 400 MSP ($5.00) - 50% off - xdldb

Thank you.

Your other post made no sense to me before. I thought you wrote that only the siege mode dlc had achievements, when that clearly is not the case. Each piece of DLC comes with achievements. I still have to pass since I don't own RE6 (Sold it a month after release) and don't plan on rebuying it until I can rebuy a copy for under $15. By then I'm sure the dlc will go on sale again and might include the siege one aswell.

I said not all of the DLC that has achievements is on sale. Not the DLC doesn't have achievements...
Siege mode is the only one not on sale. D;
Seems like everything is updated but the Street Fighter IV Ultra skin pack, still showing 1440 points.
Episode 2 of the Walking Dead hasn't dropped yet, either. I'm waiting for everything to drop and XBLDB to catch them before updating the OP.

QFT!!! Get this junk outta here! :applause:

Back on topic, I broke down and got both of the Skyrim DLC's. Time suck is coming back again for that game.

Any thoughts on Hitman: Blood Money ?

Is the Games on Demand version the same as what is included in the Hitman Trilogy HD collection? Is it a fun game? Somehow, I've never allowed myself to play the franchise. Now I'm thinking it might be interesting to try out its very methodical gameplay.

I own Hitman: Absolution on PC but haven't gotten to it yet. Wondering if I should start with Blood Money first.... (And I need gamepad support, which is *not* included in the PC version of Blood Money.)

fuck, shattered dimensions only got a 25% off around here. Guess I'll only get this week DR2 Case Zero. And next one Mercury Hg. Now let's wait till april 1st.

Unless I'm mistaken, Blood Money was an actual Xbox 360 game first, so the version in the HD collection should just be a re-release of that exact same game.

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it. Too bad JC2 isn't region free though.

bought:

-Just Cause 2
-Dead Rising 2 (+ some DLC)
-Skyrim: Dawnguard
-War for Cybertron (+ map DLC)

I've been slowly moving towards downloaded games instead of physical disks. I guess I like having the option of having all my games in one place, where I can switch from game to game without having to get up and switch disks (or have to worry about scratching disks, losing them...).

The only problem I'm having now is that I've run out of space on my HD. I have a 320GB HD and the only reason I have space is because I have my original 250GB HD (and I've transferred a lot of the games I'm not primarily playing right now). Hope MS really takes this into consideration for the next xbox.

I have yet to play my Absolution, but I heard they changed the gameplay mechanics in that from the earlier ones, so Blood Money will play a bit different so keep that in mind. Plus you get to kill people dress as a giant chicken. :D

The Psycho skills pack is decent as well. Your overall damage resistance is raise so you can take a bit more damage. Granted it's miniscule so you won't much a difference, but it also increases your knock back resistance which is very useful. But the real gem is it gives you one of the most amusing kills in the game when you have a psycho weapon like a machete

Cool thanks for the info, I will go ahead and grab these (atleast the 2 you mentioned) while they are only $1 then.

Okay I am sold I'll get this one too!

Thanks for both of your feedback!

I think there might have been a mix up cause the Super Complete pack which wasn't announced not the Ultra is the one showing the discount.

They will. Word is that you wont be able to play from physical media on the next Xbox. If you buy a game on a disc you'll need to install on the HD it then you can toss the disc away because it will be useless.

Blood Money is a great game, but Absolution is better (imo, I suppose some people would argue that). I think at this point you would be better off trying to get a physcial copy of the HD trilogy for cheap. Probably won't take too long. Play through absolution and if you love it and want more, then get the trilogy at a price that is hopefully not much more than the $10 Blood Money is right now. Just know that the game is a bit clunkier than Absolution, but you should adjust after a bit.

Someday I'll open my Dead Rising 2. The consensus seems to be the Ninja pack for sure. The soldier isn't very popular. The soldier is iffy. Might just pick up all four since they are $1 each.

Also forgot to mention keep in mind you only need to wear 1 piece of an outfit to get it's abilities. Example I have the ninja and psycho packs, so I wear the ninja boots and the psycho hair because their much less noticeable when wearing other outfits, and I get the bonuses for both.
