Often overlooked, GoD are by default displayed in dollars both on Xbox.com as well as on the console, but on the very-first confirmation screen of the download process is the option to use Microsoft Points in place of real-world currency.

Through the console, after first selecting to download a GoD you are greeted by a familiar gray confirmation screen that pops up displaying the size of the download as well as confirming the price. At the bottom of this gray pop-up is the instruction to press the "X button" in order to change the payment type to MSP. Pictured below with an arrow:

On Xbox.com they've made it much more obvious, the confirmation "extra step" pop-up after clicking the download link displays a link that simply says "Use Microsoft Points" directly under the price in dollars at the top of the page.
That's cool, I can relate. I go to PAX Prime every year. It's such an awesome event. That's cool you had a good time.

How fun is Ball Game in Multiplayer in Battleblock Theatre? That Tourny sounds like it would have been amazing fun.
I went to E3 and PAX Prime a couple years ago and loved it, but this was my first time in Boston and to PAX East. It's my favorite mode. There were 52 teams so we won like 5 games to get to the finals but lost the final game. The top 3 teams got swag bags though so it was good either way.

For the DotW, none of the DLC for Transformers WFC or FoC include achievements. They all look like multiplayer skins and maps. I'm considering getting WFC for GonD but probably won't ever get to it even though I think the MP demo was fun.

For next week's DotW has all repeats except Retro City Rampage which I'll probably grab. I wish the Mercury and Puzzle Arcade DLC would go on sale too. It's really cheap already so it probably won't with the amount of times the games have.
Blood Money is a great game, but Absolution is better (imo, I suppose some people would argue that). I think at this point you would be better off trying to get a physcial copy of the HD trilogy for cheap. Probably won't take too long. Play through absolution and if you love it and want more, then get the trilogy at a price that is hopefully not much more than the $10 Blood Money is right now. Just know that the game is a bit clunkier than Absolution, but you should adjust after a bit.
Sounds like a very logical, price-conscious CAG reply. Exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks!
Impatiently waiting on Mass Effect 3 DLC sale. I will buy all of it if it goes on sale soon.
I'm totally right there with you, man. And I've been saying that for a month; still no luck on the price drop.

I just wanted to know that all DLC was out so I could start on the game and have the entire experience in my first play-through. Its been a long year to wait, though. Now I just want a great price for the DLC and I'll be ready!

I Feel like waiting until Monday's one day deals before I jump on some GoD games simply because my HDD is getting packed to the gills and and I want to save some points. Otherwise got Dragonborn.

Im there too, along with needing ME 2 DLC. Why is it that all sales repeat all the time until I actually decide to buy this game!? :bomb:

Does anyone know of a Microsoft Point sale (preferably at a lower cost than the Coinstar promo)?
Is the walking dead better on 360 than PC, which is where I like to play most of my telltale games titles?
I've played the whole thing on PC and episode 1 on the 360. I liked the experience more on the PC (I'm more comfortable with a keyboard+mouse for point and clicks), but the 360 experience is by no means bad, aside from a few cutscene hiccups (it might load a scene a second after you hear dialogue, but it's not game-breaking by any means)
How's multiplayer for Transformers and/or Hitman: Absolution?
I can't comment on Transformers but Hitman Absolution doesn't have competitive multiplayer. There are score challenges. You can replay any of the game's missions and choose which targets to kill with whatever outfit and method and then you upload that and other people try to beat your score using the outfit(s)/method(s) you chose.
How's multiplayer for Transformers and/or Hitman: Absolution?
It's been 18 months or more since I played WFC online - it was fun, but laggy and the population was low. I keep intending to go back ... I only wish it had a larger player base when I did get around to it. Pretty straightforward offerings - some limited classes and unlockables.

Going to add links for the April 2-8 sale in the OP, but let me explain the viewpoint about regional bias ...

As a thread consistently within the "top 15" of CAG (due to # of posts & traffic hits), we get a lot of visitors here that aren't regular visitors. In fact, they probably wouldn't understand the myriad of steps proposed here, nor the implications to their XBL Live ID's of performing those complicated steps. They also have little knowledge about the cause-effect of using their Microsoft Points towards digital content, only to have that content unavailable on their 360 immediately after licensing, or even long after the license transaction. Some have even suggested the steps to license content utilizes functionality not intended for the average gamer located in North America (specifically US & Canada).

Therefore, so that nobody has a "negative" experience when purchasing content, we should ensure that that information we give is as valid as possible for the US & Canada experience within the Xbox Marketplace, and not generate undue publicity towards alternative methods to license content. I'm personally all for maintaining separate threads with unique licensing scenarios, but would prefer this thread remains safe to link to & publicize far & widely ... including, but not limited to, the email networks within Xbox itself. We already enjoy some of the most enthusiastic attention on the Web for deals within the Xbox Marketplace, so let's be sure non-gamers visiting the thread don't get the wrong idea about our intentions, and make a stink about something they know nothing about.

Clear enough? :D

Ohhh.. That explains it. I had read in reviews about Contracts mode, but it never quite made sense to me. Sounds a little like ghost replays in a racing game.

Might just hang on then. Sitting and wondering how long it'll be until we see Halo 4 on sale.

Picked up Dragonborn today. Have yet to really go through the DLC in Skyrim so this is a perfect time. Would have picked up Walking Dead if I didnt grab them all during the Xmas sale.

As far as next week, I hope MS doesnt discount the Halo 4 content too much. I bought the season pass back in November for the "spend 1500+points on Halo 4 content and get 100 back" and have yet to see that 100 come back or even play much of the Majestic Map Pack.
Pretty sure it is cuz im playing it right now :D
Funny that I was going by YOUR list. I thought the ones you listed above are the only ones that were region free.
A little question... does the Hearthfire DLC worth it?

Thanks in advance!
Do you think spending hours to accumulate material to build a bed and adopt a bastard child is fun?
Download this DLC asap.

I really hope its not anything to do with halo 4. I hope they are great deals since its one day, and being April fools they could do a "are those prices a joke" sort of thing. Waiting to see what goes up that day but if nothing good will grab Hitman Absolution since I have not played it.

Thought I would post a Toy Soldiers code in this thread (since everyone doesn't always hit the "Contests and Free Stuff" thread). Enjoy!

Head over to the free section as this contest is still going on. Page 7 lists the generic codes to enter. Just continue entering them until it gives you a code. Took me a while but I got a code.

That's why I don't go to Contest and Free Section anymore. A hundred threads of people babbling. Can you post the exact link to what you are talking about. Page 7 of which thread?

Do you guys have any preferences for 32gb flash drives on your xbox? Brand, etc.?

I'm tired of deleting DLC everytime I want to download DLC or install a game. I'm trying to decide what 32gb flash drive to buy from either Amazon or Best Buy.

I have a PNY 16gb and 32gb for the xbox and they get the job done. Any USB should be fine, I just chose pny because it was on sale at Best Buy and it had solid reviews.

i'm just looking for omega and the citadel. had already snagged from ashes and leviathan when they were on sale previously.

think we'll ever see omega and the citadel for less than 800msp seeing as how the base price is 1200msp?

Personally, if you're even remotely a fan of the series, Citadel is worth 1200 MSP. Lots of great ME1 and 2 nods and returning characters with a ton of replayability.

Omega I too am waiting for a sale, but even 800 MSP seems like a stretch for it.

I was looking myself the other day and I think I settled on this one:
http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-...F8&qid=1364353215&sr=1-1&keywords=amazon+32gb

It had good reviews and is faster and more reliable (it seems) than the Sandisk one. It's a bit more expensive though. I am going to order it later this week.

Ive got 1200 MSP. to get shatter dimensions or not...hmmm

Im curious what could possibly be in a WWE sale, arent there only like two games and a couple DLC recently? Cant see too much interest

Looks like they fixed the Ultra Complete Costume pack for SSFIV as it's now has the sale price of 720 MSP, but they also left the Super Complete Costume pack price at 720. Add in the arcade challengers price you can get them all for a even 1600 msp. Which isn't bad considering.

Also am I the only have that went YAY! at the April 5th release date of the Double Dragon II game, but they yelled DAM IT! at the 1200 msp price point

I could see wwe13 for like 40, with the dlc on sale, and wwe all stars for 15 or something. Don't know if they have avatar stuff.
