While granted, I tend not to keep up Sony releases, has there even been a Guilty Gear game released in the past decade outside of Accent Core Plus?

Also, I remember hearing about Central Fiction at some point last year. Wasn't that supposed to have an X1 release as well or am I imagining things?

Yes, there have been several. Revelator came out about a year and a half ago I think.

 
In true Date Night tradition, I grabbed the Women of Power Pinball DLC, both Castlevania games, and Naruto Ninja Storm before they went off sale. The external hard drive attached to my 360 will be full once I push Naruto over to it. Can you use a second external on a 360?

They are more valuable now that it went BC....when Gamestop prices it for sale.

I think I'll get the pinball tables. Buying them on the 360 still allows me to unlock them on the Xbone afterwards, right? Just want to make sure that hasn't changed.

Yep I buy on 360 and play on Xbox 1, finally grabbed Aliens set. Pretty decent tables.

 
Crappy sale this week. Last week, thanks to my ex leaving a bunch of his Xbox stuff here after we broke up, and, well GameStop, I bought GTAV, Deus Ex MD deluxe, and Lego Batman 3 deluxe. Week or two before I also picked up Titanfall 2.

Well, I jumped on Castlevania Mirror of Fate and Harmony of Despair and DBZ UT in the hopes they go BC. Also picked up Blue Dragon, I hope I got my saves uploaded because I did a lot of grinding it would be nice to pick up from...


Thinking about Hunter's Legacy. I like Metroidvania games, and cats are cute or whatever. Anyone bite on it yet?

I picked it up. Pretty fun so far, albeit a bit unpolished. However for the price it seemed worth it. Lots of possibility for leveling up and such.

It's one of the incentives of the fact that I picked up all the pinball tables - aside from the backing a great developer -, having them on two platforms with different achievements is a double edged sword haha.

This game is nuts.  I'm not even far along and it's crazy.  Playing a game of hide and seek right now for reference

 
Got the pinball tables and Jotun last minute too add to the backlog. Been playing a new game for once, or trying to. The For Honor connections are hit or miss. Can't join matches frequently and got disconnected mid match at least 25% of the time tonight, usually when I was doing well.

I enjoyed it. The game is mostly puzzles & telltale style dialogue. Double the length of telltale games, especially if you get stuck on some of the harder puzzles. The collection includes 1-5 + the ~40 minute Epilogue. Episode 1 is free though so if anyone is considering it, they should definitely try out the 1st episode.

For those that care about achievements though, most of them in the first episode are missable so you'd probably have to look them up. Things like die a certain way, or interact with a certain object 9 times until the narrator says something.

I've been grinding out these bing searches trying to get Forza 6 for "free". Now I can get the 5/6 bundle thanks to this sale. I feel like a little kid getting their first bike after doing shitty chores for months.

Battleborn is a great, vastly under rated, game. That being said it is not worth picking up for the single player. It's better now then it was at launch due to all the dlc, if you get the deluxe edition, but the game is a multiplayer experience, including the campaign missions.
 
Forza Horizon 3 has 4 new one day Challenges up that expire at midnight Pacific today. All can be done in under 30 minutes if you have Create Bucket List option unlocked. FYI: The 4th Challenge is for unlocking the other 3 Challenges.

PS4 has 2 newer Guilty Gears, one of which is on PC and it's assumed the other is coming to PC as well. Central Fiction's Xbone release got canceled. They'll probably do what they did with Chronophantasma and just release the Extend version (essentially the "Complete" edition) whenever that comes out. Chronophantasma Extend is currently the only Aksys/Arcsys fighter on Xbone, correct.

9 of those are in the separate Curve Indie Collections. Olli Olli is the only one that isn't in one, but it's already been $2.

If you're like me and bought Indie Collections #1 and #2, you already own 5 of those games (The Swapper, Thomas Was Alone, Stealth Inc. 2, The Swindle and Nova-111). Collection #3 has Stikbold!, Action Henk, 10 Second Ninja 2, and Collection #4 has Hue (as well as Dear Esther and some other game). I'd say buy it if you own 3 or less. Otherwise, it's not worth it.

I actually just looked on ebay and it seems the market has been flooded since going BC. Lots of copies for sub-$20, many hovering between $10-15. A few are the JP import, but they'd work for BC purposes.

I didn't realize Blue Dragon was made by Sakaguichi, Toriyama, and Nobuo Uematsu - the first game they collaborated on outside of FF was Chrono Trigger. My interest is suddenly much higher in this game.

Wow. That would be a shock. Thought they were always Sony exclusives. Honestly, I enjoyed what I played of them. Nothing great but decent fun.

Edit: NM. There was some on Xbox/Xbox 360. Losing it in my old age.

Physical copies are $8 right now on Amazon for the 360 [edit: whoops, those are 3rd party sellers with separate shipping fees. still, physical is cheaper].

It's a hilarious game and worth playing once, but only the most die-hard fans and/or achievement hunters will want to play it again. For $15 digital, I think it's way overpriced, it's just licensing tax after the film was so successful.
