The game definitely flopped by Capcom standards. I posted when I saw it, but they reported 1,000,000 total players a couple weeks after the Steam version launched, which was months after the Xbox and Win10 versions. Gotta try and make up money somewhere.

I think a lot of the people that did buy DR4 weren't thrilled with the actual DLC offered, and passed on buying it.

 
Is Darksiders II season pass worth the 84 cents? I Ask out of does a person with a huge backlog and DLC with no achievements need this at all?

The game in general was pretty blah. It wasn't bad, just disappointing. My biggest gripe is with the replacement of the boss-battle psychopaths with the ultra-generic and easy to beat "maniacs." The psychopaths were a big part of the game since the beginning, and it feels like they cheaped out and cut corners by omitting them.

Since the marketplace switched to the current store, my script scans without logging in, so that old limitation no longer applies. I still haven't updated to scan for DLCs, and it's possible I could miss something if the store site doesn't include everything between the "new" and "top-paid" lists. I used to just scan through the new list, but sometimes things would be left out, so I go through the listings on both of those for better coverage (and occasionally a limited time bundle is still missed by both lists).

Here's what's included in the SP:

Abyssal Forge ($9.99) - A new dungeon and new character options to explore, further extending the Darksiders II experience

The Demon Lord Belial ($9.99) - An entire new area to explore, further extending the Darksiders II experience.

Maker Armor Set ($2.99) - Forged by a race of beings that created the Universe itself, the Maker Armor Set is renowned for its ability to withstand punishment from even the fiercest of foes.

The rest seem to be mostly in-game weapons/armour. The only other significant content is Argul's Tomb, which is another dungeon area, Death Rides pack, which includes more side-quests and allows you to explore further into some areas (The size is really small, so it's potentially part of an update or disk-locked) and Crucible Pass (have no idea what this is).

They put the Spartan games on Steam so it's not a total surprise. If it's already ported to PC too then why not when it's an old game and they'll make far more off it there.

New Order is one of my favorite games this generation, Old Blood is good too but the story lacked the depth that made New Order so excellent. So go Wolf.

I don't follow what one has to do with the other. Steam's policy is Steam's policy and MS has nothing to do with it or refunding any of their games that are on the service.

Definitely ports but to give Capcom their due I think they actually did them right. I'm as anti "remaster" as anyone but with the DR and RE ports the graphics are significantly with the resolution bump, they improved and largely stabilized the framerate, and as importantly as anything actually priced them appropriately and have run frequent sales physical and digital. Considering that Capcom has a deserved reputation for doing Super/Ultra/Turbo cash grabs I can't fault them at all for how they handled these games and think more companies ought to follow their lead instead of charging $60 while doing less.

If so, then they upgraded from DR3 and its awesome Super Turbo DLC that should have been standalone (and in the season pass).

 
Should I buy Watch Dogs 2 Gold? I have the urge to splurge. But I know I won't touch it until later on in the year. By the time I'm ready to devote serious time to it, it'll probably be 50% less than it is now.
