I've also noticed that with the update tab but thought it was due to having so many games. I've got my Xbox set to auto download updates now which is nice. It was a real pain to have to update games manually and worry about data. That actually f'ed up a lot of achievements I gained offline and down a few updates on Forza Horizon 3.

If the man is being honest I don't see why they can't let him pay the $200 back to restore the account.

I've bought from CDKeys, but after reading that thread I'll probably never buy from a third party site again, even if the chances are small I can't risk 13 years of purchases down the drain. Way too much. I know I bought AC Unity for $2 which I'm honestly surprised isn't GWG yet. The other items were EA Access.

I'll just stick to newegg going forward.

Oh speaking of GWG, is there a way to buy games that you own with "gold", or do you have to let your subscription lapse? Same with PS+ right?

I was confused but I guess I bought both Black Flag and AC Unity awhile back from evil cdkeys. Thats why the option wasn't showing for me. But I see the option with The Walking Dead Season 2.

Assuming those are still legit because of the AC bundles so I'm in the safe area.

 
Shit that Reddit thread has me scared. Some other guy said he got banned for marketplace theft due to asking for too many refunds. I've only asked for one BUT I still have the digital license for the game and it's still installed to my hard drive. Should I call them and tell them to revoke the license just to be safe?

The seemingly random capitalization and word choice made me think the same thing, lol. Googled the titles just now and apparently they're Hillary Duff songs. So now I have that unnecessary knowledge.

But on the bright side, we can give Darby crap for being a Hillary Duff fan.

I recommend the despecialized editions of the original trilogy, and avoiding the prequels entirely. If you don't have the means to burn the despecialized editions to Blu-ray, you can find them on eBay for around 30 bucks.

Just go with the fancy new ones. Only the people that have seen the originals 1000 times really care.

And don't listen to the never watch the prequels camp. Watch em all and decide for yourself if they were worthwhile. There are parts of each prequel that are definitely worth seeing. Again, without the decades of Star Wars fan baggage, the prequels won't bother you.

Just watch them in order of release and not in chronological order. As others have mentioned, the prequels are poor, but not completely worthless, so don't let people convince you to skip them all together.

I deserve it, but honestly I've never been into movies (have watched maybe 15? 20? I don't know). I love seeing how people appreciate SW, I started watching GOT for the same reason and I regretted not starting earlier.

Thanks. I'd watch all of them in chronological order because that's usually what makes more sense (as I hear with Metal Gear Solid, which is another big series I really need to watch, speaking of movies hehe). Guess I'll go with Bluerays because I don't want to bother with torrents, sub files, burning discs and so on. I'm lazy.

Watching them in chronological order will spoil a couple big things in the original trilogy (which you find out at the same time as a character in the story), though even without having seen them, you may be aware of them already. One method is watching Star Wars, then Empire, then about half to 2/3 of Jedi to a point where one character gives a bit of backstory about his past relationship with another. After that scene, you can watch the prequels as some extended exposition. Once the prequels are done, you finish Return of the Jedi. The prequels still spoil one thing about the rest of Jedi that is only hinted at, but it's nothing compared to what's spoiled by watching in episode order blind. After Jedi is The Force Awakens. I don't recall if there were any major spoilers watching Rogue One before the original film.

My VUDU account has 538 titles in it, but according to filmaf.com, my physical collection is 1325 titles over 1918 discs.

My wife hates it, but my friends love it. The guy at work I watch movies with during our lunch hour calls it "the sickness." I started collecting DVDs in college around my junior year in 2002 back when a used DVD at $8 to $10 was a steal.

I think I've told my feelings on my Far Cry 3 experience. Everything I read made it sound amazing... like an Assassin's Creed in the jungle with guns. However, what really happened was me standing on a rock with no bullets, surrounded by Komodo dragons hissing at me while eating the corpses I left lying around. I couldn't move. So I never went back.

Also, I got bit by a snake climbing the first radio tower just because I wasn't looking down while I was walking. I want to really get into that game... I just hate all of the deadly, inconvenient wildlife at every step. I liked the way the newer Tomb Raider games handled it.

Harms Way was free for a long time so most people should own it.

Of course Bullet Soul is back to it's original MSRP after going BC. I probably would have grabbed it when it was $5 or $6.
