Achievement list seems reasonable for Fallout Shelter.  Similar to the mobile version but some new ones.  A good mix of easy, early attainable achievements along with the more grindy ones.  I may end up playing this more on my computer than the X1 though.

I'm not either but for Gears I'll make an exception. Anything that gives me an excuse to run through the story again with my god son is cool with me. Insane was hard enough, though. Like, stupid hard. I hope Inconcievable isn't some bullshit permadeath mode where you start the entire game over if you die once.

I think ironman mode could be some variation of that. Or it is something with no saves. You have to play from start to finish.

Keep buying those packs with real money instead of in-game credits. I spent 400 credits on a Horde pack last week and got the Day of the Dead Oscar. Feeling cocky and having redeemed a $5 Bing code, I bought a Black Steel pack when they were up last week. Got a Black Steel Grenadier. Also recently got Day of the Dead JD. I think that was in the weekly pack for Season Pass owners.

I started my solo Insane run this past weekend. Many deaths, not much progress (Act 1, Ch 2). AI partners still dumb as ever.

I ran into the someone died in this room so I'm gonna be all sad glitch. I didn't restart and just sucked it up and they actually fixed it in a future update. There's been a ton of support for this game, it's not even the same game then when it launched.

Yeah about the same as mobile achievements, great I have to get the collection achievements twice and I haven't even been able to collect 20 rare weapons or characters the first time. :roll:

I got two lunchboxes through the daily objectives and got Colonel Autumn, ca-ching! I hope not everybody did or then I'll be a little sad and the quality of that rare character would be faded.

That would be awesome and probably prompt me into purchasing it, but we all know that MS hates putting games on BC while they're on sale... even though that would sell way more copies.

 
They've probably done 8 of my top 10 most wanted BC titles if you don't count the delisted Konami arcade games (Zestiria and Forza 4 would also be up there)

Huh? I've never spent any real life money on Gears, just in game creds earned from playing matches. I only used XBL cred once so I could get a UIR pack(worth it cause I finally got a character skin) and only reason I did so, was because I had over $100 due to that MS Reward daily deal some of us cashed in on.

Now to download this new 5 GB update on a horrid connection. I'll be able to play sometime tomorrow at this rate

Unsure if most of you heard, but the Seattle/Redmond area got 2-8" of snow Sunday night, with another 2-4" on Monday, and most of our metro area has been shut down (traffic wise), since we see snowfall only about 3 times per winter these recent years. Therefore, nobody went to work from early Sunday night through early Tuesday morning, so only now are businesses are slowly catching up to Monday's to-do's ... including revoking erroneous purchases & updating sale prices. Examples ... last week's Xbox sale items didn't auto-expire @ 3am, and my account's purchase history no longer shows the "God Pack". ;)

That spot gave me some trouble on my solo Hardcore run, but there were tougher spots later in the game. I hadn't played the campaign since the first weekend the game was out, completely forgot how it began.

I was merely bringing up the near blasphemous notion of buying the microtransactions with real money for the continued support. I need to search through the Gears forums to see if anyone's suggested having some pack types as Microsoft rewards, like the Halo REQ packs, and if not, suggest it myself.

 
ea access put madden 16 into the vault right around the Super Bowl. then i read an article that they expected EA ACCESS to release Madden 17 around the same time this year: near Super bowl. However, it sadly hasn't happened yet

 
It looks like the well has finally run dry. Using my phone as a mobile WiFi hotspot worked up until all the data was used, now with safety mode my Xbox One can still be connected but forget downloading games or updates. Gah, this blows.

On a side note I just enjoyed the Egg Festival, I'm guessing it's like the games Easter holiday since it's Spring, in Stardew Valley and participated in talking to the locals and running around looking for eggs with the egg hunt. Before that I crafted a furnace, converted all my copper ore into bars, planted potatoes and created a scarecrow. Gave Gunther a few more minerals and a the one I got out of a geode from mining in the cave that the blacksmith bashed open for me. Picked up a few fish while fishing during an exceptional good luck day and sold some clams I had found on the beach. I just got a message, in-game, to go talk to the carpenter and expand my little cottage with a kitchen to unlock cooking. Man, this game is a surprise favorite now.

This week wasn't a total loss. I may already have Catherine and Dead Island, but I don't have Mighty No.9.

Looks like that will be my only purchase this week.

Last time I brought up how much I hated MN9 after giving it an honest chance, a lot of people here chimed in and said they ended up liking it. There IS a demo, but I enjoyed the demo and hated the full game. For $8 it might be worth a try, but its been $10 at Gamefly for awhile now, and that comes with the Ray DLC.

 
So I am finding it ironic I need to watch videos on my phone to keep Fallout Shelter from getting too boring on my X1.  It is a nice port but I am not sure I can sit here 2-3 min at a time waiting to collect resources with literally nothing else to do. At least on my phone I was watching TV.

Yeah in the beginning I just come back and do a bunch of things, then leave, play another game, check my watch and go back into it. Rinse Repeat

I would have thought they'd implement retroactive objectives. Just had a bunch of pregnanies and then my objective is to have 20 more. Lol, shit I guess that's the game saying you need more vault dwellers, dude!
 
Got home from work and my console won't sign me in or do anything. Took the update last Friday but it has been working fine all weekend.

Anyone know why im getting charged tax on xbox one store but not on xbox 360 store? I live in DE and when i make my purchases i get different emails between the xbox one and 360 store.
 
I bought the Physical release of Hitman the complete first season and it doesn't have Colorado or the various bonus episodes. Fantastic. It's supposed to, but its broken. People on their forums say to uninstall and accept the update, but I've done that like 3 times. It's just borked and the official support asks everyone who complains about it dumb questions like they don't know what is going on. I wonder if the PS4 version is like this too.

I saw E3 is open to the public this year. Can't wait to listen to IGN complain about it on the podcast.

I'll still watch it from the comfort of my living room. Clean bathrooms and cheap food at my house.

After playing for a while on a PC with a real mouse, I'm having a hard time moving to my laptop and a REAL hard time on my console. I started the game on the console and immediately got attacked by raiders and literally didn't know what to do about it.

I used to write for a small-scale gaming website, but it was enough to get press badges for E3 two years in a row. It was really awesome once we got there, but honestly E3 is such an exhausting mess that, unless there's a big reveal like a new console, I'd rather avoid the whole thing now. We went the year the Wii debuted, and you couldn't just look at screenshots and know what to expect because it was a very experiential thing, so playing it before it came out at retail was really cool.

Also, the guy who ran the site wasn't a very good manager, and it made things a lot worse in terms of logistics.

Makes us two. I've been playing Gears 4 almost non-stop since launch. It was the first I wanted to jump straight to multiplayer instead of finishing the campaign. All of my friends wanted to beat the game and then go to MP but I refused to wait for them. Especially since many of them completed the campaign, played one or two Horde matches and went back to Overwatch.

As far as legacy characters is concerned, all I need is Alex Brand and I'm all set (though I don't know if she actually counts as "legacy" since she was only in Judgment). More than likely they'll add Prescott, Barrick, Jace and classic Delta plus Locust characters (maybe Skorge at long last).

Also, I've been reading a shitload of complaints about the new title update adding a delay to gnasher fire when wall bouncing. Not an issue for me since I hate that crap though I've used it when needed. Besides, gibbing a wall bouncer by simply standing still for a moment so they get in range of an active perfect reload shotgun blast is very rewarding. Sorry, taking an advantage of an exploit form Gears 2 doesn't make anyone skillful or "gud".
