Holy crap, the Street Fighter II Ultra first person mode for the Switch looks hilariously bad. I bet they keep Hyper Fighting from becoming BC until after that mess comes out. Sad :(

Was anyone else annoyed by the dude the other day going off about Sonic Racing Transformed, which is not one of the games on sale? I meant to quote it and get all belligerent, but this is what you get.

I want to get one of these DBZ games, but the same thing happens everytime they go on sale: I watch a couple gameplay vids and reviews trying to decide which game is the best, and I end up thinking they all look like crap. I forget which one it was, maybe Ult Tenkatchi 2 or something, that had a huge roster and let you play through the entire series. That was fun, I want one like that. Are any of the ones on sale likely a good fit? Is it worth double the money to get the x1 game, or is one of the 360 ones as good graffically but with better gameplay?

Picked up For Honor Gold for $60 at Target (rings at $70 and then there's 15% off Cartwheel).  Haven't opened it yet, will wait for a few more reviews.

I have a brown and a blue one of these. Best Home Furnishings made them, but they don't make them anymore. I called the home office and everything. I'm gonna cry when these break or something...

I really miss my Kinect (it stopped tracking motion, just does voice) when playing this game. It's such a subtle but "natural" feature.

But I'm still salty about the DLC being de-listed before I got to purchase any of it with my season pass/VIP pass :wall:

In my opinion the best DBZ games on the 360 are Raging Blast 2, DBZ HD Collection, and Burst Limit in that order.

True. I was hoping they'd at least try to compete a little with the pre-owned disk copies which are only slightly cheaper. But MC just feels like something I would want only digitally. At least thats how I felt about the 360 version.

Depends on what you mean by "slide away". If you're worried about it becoming more conventional, the second episode was just as if not more fucked up than the first.
 
Well not to sound like a negative Nancy but I was looking foward to playing force unleashed but I forgot that it doesn't come with the dlc. That's like McDonald's advertising that they're giving away free coffee but turning around and charging for the milk and sugar. Really is a despicable practice. It's bait and switch pure and simple. Can probably pick up the ultimate sith edition for less than all the dlc.

Oh noes, my free game has additional content that they still want to make $5 on! I better not play any of it, because there could be extra levels that people who paid retail didn't get and the developers didn't feel was worth delaying the release for but would totally ruin my experience to be left out.

IIRC, the dlc is just skins anyways.

Not to sound like an asshole but you sound like a cry baby, pure and simple. The main course is free yet I want the additional side stuff for free. Get outta here. 30 second search produces $25 worth of digital story dlc and the Ultimate Sith Edition of Force Unleashed is $35 used at GS.

Downloading Project CARS now. I find it kinda funny I'm happy its 24 GB vs 50+ or something ridiculously high

Last time I checked xbox live gold was not free and if the devs want to make money by charging you for the dlc then that's not free either. I like my games to be wrapped up in a nice little ultimate/complete edition so that I don't have to waste time agonizing over whether or not the dlc is worth it especially in this case where the dlc represents a terrible value being like you said apparently some skins and an extra mission on hoth which lasts 10 minutes which you still feel suckered into buying for the full experience. Don't kid yourself. The dlc is almost always made at the same time as the main game often being cut from the main gane in the first place. At least throw gamers a bone and put the dlc on sale too.

No offense taken. I'm just a cheap ass gamer. *smiley face* Free is just about the right price for me on a last Gen game. If I have to shell out an extra $25 to enjoy the full course meal then the main meal is less apetizing and I'd much rather spend that money on a current Gen game is all I'm saying.

Some of the DLC are story missions which looked really cool but apparently are very short, especially for the asking price ($10 each maybe?). They went on sale last year for Star Wars day and a friend of mine got them. He said they were fun but he regretted buying them.

Seriously. This morning I had to click on like 15 links to get all the free project cars stuff. Microsoft should just include it all when I click the link for the main game. Took a min or two longer then it should have.
 
Speaking of Gears 4... for some reason, I don't need the disc to play the game after installing it. Has anyone noticed this too? I never bought the digital version...

Is Forza Horizon 3 co-op broken or are most people morons?  I tried for 2 hours between last night and this morning trying to do 1 co-op event.  The very first attempt I got right into 6 lap race.  With 1 or 2 laps to go the host ended the session.  To be fair the difficulty was set high and I am not very good.  Ok fair enough.

That was the ONLY race/event that I ever got in.  Most of the time the host didn't set a meeting place.  If they did much of the time no one was there.  Or maybe they were and were just parked doing NOTHING.  But more often then not I drove around aimlessly hoping the host would start something.  Seems I can't host if I don't invite at least one friend in?  That seems dumb to me.

Just wanted to knock out 1 and 10 event achievements.   Most of the time I find co op lame with randoms.  This was not an exception.

 
I would lean towards morons, lol. I had the same issue when attempting a co-op forzathon recently. Took me ~20 attempts as I was booted almost instantly, no one setup events/meeting place, they sat at festivals and did nothing, etc. You are correct; you cannot host unless until you invite another friend. Send me a message for future co-op events and I will help knock them out.
