I would hold off. Im on my 3rd one (first: stick drift, second: RB bumper falling off) both are common problems on msg boards

Game is excellent. Story and environment feels kinda like Bioshock, but the shooting and gunplay is straight out of Modern Warfare 2

Also the Elite controller is very much worth it. Once I started playing with the Elite I can't go back to the regular, it feels light and cheap compared to the Elite

i beat ryse on normal over a year ago and returned to the game on legendary about a month ago. the first level should be a piece of cake if you're going right into it after a full playthrough. the difference i noticed was regeneration of health, focus, etc is much much smaller.

i want to buy quantum break while best buy has it on sale. i usually buy games digital when the price is right. however, i remember reading about this game's insane size because of the cinematic sequences. can someone give me a comparison on download sizes between physical and digital?

if i buy the disc, it will save me a few bucks (GCU doesn't apply to digital copies), i can resell it when i'm done and i can install most of the game off the disc. looks like a game that only warrants one play through. i may have just decided which one to get already lol.

I doubt there is any difference between the download sizes. I believe in both versions you have the option to stream the "episodes".

Edit: NM. I'm not sure if the episodes are on the disc to play directly from it. I could be wrong.

Totally getting Quantum Break for $16 at BB. Always prefer physical vs digital so my patience has paid off. Can't wait to finish off Ryse tonight and then play either ME Andromeda or QB. Decisions decisions......

I don't see how that would make any difference whatsoever. Games are released all the time where different developers handle the multi-player and whatnot (and we're talking separate games) so I don't see Activision caring since they could pretty much do whatever they want.

But maybe I'm missing something and am completely wrong.

I was also wrong and apparently there is a 75 GB download option for XB1 for "offline" (ya know after you blow through 75 GB of data). :shock:

I am at Disney on ice right now, and told my son he could get a snow cone and cotton candy... It was $34 usd. I am a little butt hurt about it and had to share my pain. The cotton candy cane with an Olaf hat and the snow cone was in a "collectible" Olaf cup.... Which doesn't lessen the blow lol
 
I feel for you... I've got three of those collectible snow cone cups in my cabinet right now. We actually have that Olaf one if it's the same one

Damn, I feel that. We're on our second year of having Disney annual passes and I let my kids know every time that we're not buying a damn thing. We have the "collectible" popcorn buckets that they refill for $1.50. That's lunch and dinner kids!


I just got the march update on my X1. Im liking it so far. Haven't been able to mess with much cus my 3 year old is watching dragon ball.

Was slacking on my Rewards stuff this month and completely forgot to activate the offer for this until just the other day. Between the sale last week and the Neo Geo games, I should hit the $60 threshold. I'm just hoping the money I spent before the activation counts or if I'll have to spend another $60.

Haha, yea, it's the Olaf one. I got the tickets for 20 each which didn't seem that steep, so I didn't think it'd be THAT much lol.

I would have bought it for him anyways tho. I grew up dirt poor so if we can afford something I don't really think twice about it. My son and wife get nice stuff, and I'm checking the thrift store for polos while my wife grocery shops next door lol

Also Get Out is playing at the same time, so may just end up seeing that instead

Is there a way to check your progress on this... I know in the past there were some progress bars, but I'm not seeing anything.

 
finally got around to starting mass effect, starting with 2, seems a bit overwhelming when you get the ship and can fly to so many different places. also the cerberus content is free despite showing it costs microsoft points in game, was confused.

The Cerberus Network was that thing that was on new copies, kind of like an online pass concept but it's available to everyone now. You feel overwhelmed with ME2, I pitty you with Andromeda lol (Being an Pathfinder, there are a lot of decisions to make, lots of places to go and quests to check off). That said, welcome to the Milky Way Galaxy!

Just checked the rewards site and damn, sweet I got the Simply Rewarding Offer as well, was earned on the 21st. Nice, that'll help kick back something in the coffers or whatever people say.

Used to come with game and you couldn't but it, then you could buy it separate if you got the game used. Finally they said fuck it and made it free.
