EDIT: While looking at my ready to install games I saw Dead Space Ignition. Must've just been added to the vault? I didn't notice it the other day and haven't purchased it.

Man Saints Row 2 is stingy on the achievements.  I have 9 hours played and 33% completion and TWO achievements.  There are some I can grind but I appreciate games that give you something for making progress through the main game a little more.

How does Blue Dragon play for a JRPG noob? Other than me currently playing through FFXIII (which I guess doesn't fit into the regular JRPG combat), my only experience for turn-based combat has been Costume Quest 1/2, South Park SoT and Pokemon.

I played a little during some Steam free to play weekend. Seemed pretty bland and forgettable in pretty much all areas, can't say how it would play on console either. I'm sure I'll actually buy it one day against my better judgement.

 
Was saving & have enough to buy one full retail game in May, either Injustice 2 or The Surge. But screw it, I'll just use the money to buy more than 2 games from this sale lol. Gonna have to take my 360 out the storage bin to get a couple of BC games. Shadow Warrior vs Metro Redux Bundle? I may just get both. And I'm waiting on more info for EA NBA Playgrounds that's coming out I think by next month. It'll probably hit EA Access tho.

Bad. It's super old school in approach in that you got to grind a hell of a lot.
 
If you like rhythm games, EDM and on-rails shooters like Panzer Dragoon, grab Aeero. It's fantastic and has a 20% off launch sale at $11.99.
 
I feel like the recent update did something funky to my xbox as far as downloading goes

all kinds of stalls and weird download issues now and I don't think it downloads when I turn it off anymore

Saw that in storeparser, too. Rare Rivals DLC is $74.99 down from $99.99 and the Captured KV-1 Elite DLC is $27.19 down from $33.99.

I've been playing World of Tanks a ton a really enjoy it. Not sure about why the Rare Rivals costs so much, but the KV-1 is tempting as it's a way to support the developers while still getting a little discount and it includes 30 days of premium. And that KV-1 is a beast. It is seriously tough to take down. Does WoT gold currency ever go on sale? I'd like to get that on sale and then get the 10 garage slots package the next time it's on sale in game (50% off right now) to help juggle tanks and the "own 5 XYZ tanks" achievements.

I forgot that Rio movie game existed. I rented it 5+ years ago and thought it was a serviceable Mario Party ripoff at the time, but might not of aged well. Very easy completion, especially if you have 4 controllers. Tempted to get it since it's only $2.99 even though I'll likely never play it again.

Have you played any of them before? I have, and while I enjoyed them I'm not in any hurry to replay them on the current gen. If they are for the backlog they will come around to this price again. If you want to have a similar experience and spend less money I'd consider the definitive edition of the first Dishonored for $10, in case you don't have it yet. Again you could opt to wait if you aren't planning to play it soon.

 
I've been waiting for Shadow Warrior to go down to $6 since it was that price on psn a few months after release,I didn't think it would take this long though and I scrolled right past it then I was like ohhhhh shit.
 
Far Cry Primal worth the price of admission by chance. I'm also thinking of grabbing that Dead Island collection and Pixel Piracy and the Storm 4 Season Pass

Have you ever gotten excited about buying a game only to discover that you already own it? I woke up early this morning to buy Guacamelee: Super Turbo Championship Edition before it went off sale...and I had it. I barely turn on my Xbox One, so it was an easy mistake. So I bought Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams on 360 instead. I figure I'll have a whole week to agonize over what I want in the Spring Sale. I'll probably buy Rio on 360.

Edit: I bought Fantastic Pets for 360 Kinect. It was only $1.99. Don't judge me.

I bought it for $35 in the bundle with Far Cry 4 a few weeks ago. I LOVED the game. Truly amazing. I think I played for 30 or 35 hours and enjoyed every moment.
 
Picked Lego Avengers deluxe, Batman Arkham Knight season pass, and Pixel Piracy. Thinking about D&D Sword Coast Legends, anyone played it? Looks a lot like Baldur's Gate or Diablo to me. Was thinking about Mad Max as well but looks like it's mostly a driving game?
 
What type of game is it then? Keep in mind I'm addicted to Fallout 4, but the last Mad Max movie I've seen was Beyond Thunderdome...lol.

Only similarity with fallout 4 is that they're both post apocalyptic. You should watch Fury Road, I thought it was fantastic.

I'd add that it's batman Arkham style fighting and the car combat is unique. Like most open world games it's pretty easy to only do side quests and become overpowered. Certain missions require specific car components which could mean downgrading your car based on the amount of side quests completed.

I've always played Diablo III solo and it's one of my favorites! Can't go wrong if you like the top-down hack and slash style.

Overwatch is fantastic and if you're a fan of online shooters you will certainly have fun solo. There's a new-ish "team up" option after games now, too, so you might even find some people to group up with while going. One of the best competitive multiplayer titles ever as far as I'm concerned though. Super balanced.

And Life Is Strange is odd but kinda fun. I got it for this price back in one of the holiday sales, and I usually don't do the whole choose-your-own style of gaming, but this was was quirky enough and the soundtrack is super chill and it's a good one to enjoy on your own.

Really? There are several posts over the last few pages of us saying the opposite about Overwatch. It's a great game whether you play solo or not.
 
I think I'll pass on Mad Max then, anything car related holds very little interest for me, wether it's racing, car combat, or car battle upgrade type stuff. Was hoping that it'd be some sort of fallout 4 clone...eh, but it's ok, I'll put that $10 towards something else.

I heard from two or three here, and asked several more and the only people that said "hey go for it" were here. Wasn't trying to crap on any opinions, just with a 10:1 of "you'd probably not love it solo" just had me thinking.

 
Overwatch can be plenty of fun by yourself, just remember it's a multiplayer only game.

Mad Max was fun for me, the car stuff is like having a horse in another open-world game, it's transportation and some mechanics. A little too big imo, but solid integration in the universe and solid gameplay. Well worth $10 if you're not sick of open-world games.

Diablo 3 very fun solo and with friends. Can't wait for the Necromancer to get added.

Blue Dragon plays fine, pretty basic. The general consensus is that it's about as generic as possible in story and game design, not bad, just not 10/10. If anything, you might enjoy it more due to your limited experience.

Catherine definitely worth $3, just buy it.

Killer is Dead has the standard Grasshopper Manufacture jank, but is pretty cool from what I've played so far. It's out there and weird, but that's standard for a Suda 51 game.

I've only played episode 1 of Michonne. It's fine but I don't think you can really expect the same level of storytelling as the normal games. It's based on comic Michonne and is still set farther ahead in the story than the show has reached.
