Still doing better than me. I'm on track to play metro 2033 actually in 2033.

 
I hope Sega is on board for Xbox BC, they have a some pretty decent games on the OG. Panzer Dragoon, Jet Set Radio, Shenmue 2. I've always wanted to play Gun Valkyrie since trying out a demo disc of it.

Bioware is the other obvious need, KotOR, KoTOR 2 (that they and EA definitely have the rights to), Jade Empire.

 
Some big titles from Original Xbox are already seeing a hike on eBay. Can't necessarily blame them. Perfect time for spec sales when no details are known.
 
So, this was probably asked a bunch, but is there a confirmation that you got the Mixpot?

I signed into the mixer site with my Xbox account. And watched some of the Xbox announcement. But I never saw anything that actually said, "mixpot". Thanks!

I doubt they would go back and add achievements to the old og Xbox games. 

On the lotr games it was the movie versions. They were hack and slash games but they were good.

Forgot all about star wars episode 3 and the battlefront games also. They were fun.

Not sure why they would be salty, Microsoft didn't showcase the console very well, had very little exclusive or first party content, and didn't price the machine very competitively..

Meh, still not the least bit interested in the scorpio or x or whatever they're calling it. I won't need a 4k tv for years yet, don't care about old original xbox game bc, and 60fps...still just don't care.
 
Is anyone else having problems with the ready to install tab on Xbox. It takes at least 5-10 minutes to load on my box. I have done a hard rest and it still takes forever.

 
Anthem and Metro look great, but OG BC has me the most excited just on principle, same reason I love it for the 360. However, it was a mistake to announce it and share zero details. All I see online are people asking really specific questions (titles, functionality, etc). Too much speculation for such an important thing.

Funny you mention that as I was at a retro game store this past week and just picked it up blind. Going to have to go back now with the BC announcement and see what else I don't have that tickles my fancy.

Had I not read what you guys went with I'd thought I was having issues because of my internet lol. What a mess, this whole this App is the best thing, we've now integrated it into the Xbox UI, I'm still skeptical. I was able to watch the conference stutter free thankfully but it froze at Ori with the dead birds, super depressing screen to freeze on.

Did the same, they showed off & talked with the devs of Fortnite and it looks really really fun. You get to explore and collect resources in between waves of baddies from "The Storm" and they come after your creations as they might be sentient. The customization of your forts looked really cool as there were a few traps the guy set up in the game session - as the trailer also shows funneling the monsters into a tower defense like formation. The devs said they've seen some really cool stuff from the community, think Minecraft made from Epic Games.

Sooo sick, it was only a little disappointing that we didn't get to see any new enemies but maybe they're going to wait for those reveals later in the PR reveal up to the game or in the actual game. State of Decay is my zombie game, I know a lot of people like The Walking Dead better but I'm on the flipside actually. I like how they showed the big guy ripping your dude in half, that actually happened to me and I was like oh fuck, just devastated. That and Marcus, the main character from the first, somehow had his grenades go off as he got surrounded by zombies. Dude... that was rough.

Lol, I loved the Old Spice like presentation and glad they got rid of the way they went with that franchise in Crackdown 2. They didn't really show off too much of the building destruction though but of what they did show looked really good.

HDR? Is that like for recording tv and stuff? I torrent all the shows I watch anyway, so if that's what that is, don't need it.
 
FYI - check Halo Wars 2 and Hawken and all the other games mentioned. That DLC might be Ready to Install also.

HDR = High Dynamic Range. Basically really bright whites at the same time as really dark blacks.

I'd love to play Burnout 3 on the xb1. Lots of old sports tiles on the original xbox were great, as well. Links, MVP baseball, Everyone could play NFL 2k5 again and stop bitching about Madden.
