I totally understand where your coming from. I wish all these great games were coming out sooner rather than later. I figured if they're not showing any "new" games, at least the ones they showed have a higher chance of actually coming out sooner rather than later. The progress on most of the games seemed like they are almost done. I really wish ms showed off an amazing system seller for the one x. I'm sorry, but forza didn't show off the the real power of the system. Anthem looked amazing. Ms should have paid ea to make that exclusive.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, let's not put that idea in anyone's head. Yes, Anima is a third-person action RPG, but Nier is actually fun. I'm sure there are people out there that like Anima, but I beat it, reviewed it, and it's not good. I'd check out reviews and gameplay before just jumping in because you think it's like a game people like.

Reviews seem pretty mixed but there are a lot of comparisons to Nier, combat wise. The Destructoid review in particular liked it for that reason.

That said, I'm on the fence due to the polarized reviews. And if there are others like you here that didn't like it, I'll pass.

As of Now, I would say that Ubisoft won E3 hands down. I would say EA or Bethesda come in second since they showed some games Im interested in. Microsoft and Sony were complete shit.

I have to agree with the forza idea. It was rough to watch the unveiling of the Porshe and have no one really care.
Count me interrested in Anthem.
Plus why have a supercar and not let anyone hear that engine turn on?

100% buying FH3 Expansion Pass, going to skip AW SP, I wouldn't even play it lol.

Then no more games, I swear, I'll save the money in case I go crazy and get a One X. FH3 in 4k must be gorgeous.

 
The two non standard FH3 games just come with extra cars, right? Don't know if I should get one of those or just standard and expansion pass.

So I just got caught up on Sony's E3, best part is Monster Hunter coming to Xbox haha. I will play God of War and Spider-Man though, MS and Ubisoft easily won this year for me, not even a contest just due to how many games I want to play.

They showed a lot more stuff, Sony's was literally like 2/3 full of stuff they showed at last years E3, also the sheer amount of games MS showed

 
I've been using mixer to watch the conferences and got "Thanks for watching on Mixer – E3 Mixpot is now yours!" in addition to a couple of games. Anybody know what exactly did I get when it says E3 Mixpot is now mine?

I bought the base version and later the car pass when it was on sale (doesn't have the last two car packs). Asked a few times what VIP gets you and never got a response. I picked up the Porsche car pack and Blizzard Mountain (half price when it was on sale).

There is a Lambo that I think might have been part of the Deluxe or maybe for pre ordering or something. Shows up in my cars but can't access it.

Don't regret not buying one of the more expensive versions. Seemed like mostly crap.

I'll probably buy a PS4 down the road when they're stupid cheap and play some of the cheap exclusives I missed. I don't MP on PS anyway, so I won't be missing anything there.

My issue with the PS has always been the same. The tiny fucking Japanese hand controller makes my hand cramp after about 30 minutes of playing. When the OG Xbox came out with the Duke controller, I finally had a console that I could play for far too long without stopping.

There's a bunch of stuff from this year that I'll pick up, but I keep looking at the 130+ game backlog I have on X1 games and thinking "I gotta get some of these finished."

Thanks. Maybe the Lambo is one of those exclusive cars? Maybe early on when I didn't have much credit the double would have been handy. At this point don't think it is worth it to me. Don't think the VIP is worth $19.99 either way.

Picking up FH2 anyway since I bought that DLC pack thing a few weeks ago.

I would say Scorpio is enough to set it apart alone, but the inclusion of OG Xbox could be huge if they follow through with their promise. Also, MS had an indie showcase that had some really interesting looking titles, as opposed to the VR showcase, which is like a niche within a niche. Even in my group of Sony fanboy friends, I don't know anyone with any interest in VR.

Microsoft had announcements. Sony's showing was literally like sitting through the trailers before a movie. Then it just... ended. The lights came on, people got up and left. I was really waiting for them to announce a new feature of some sort after the trailers were over. Their homeboydude from the beginning of the conference didn't even come back out to give an outro or epilogue of some sort, or a "Thanks for coming, 2018 shall be ours! Sic semper tyrannis!" or anything. it was just strange.

Anyone played The Bunker?

Microsoft's conference wasn't the best ever, but Sony's was much worse IMO. Not a single game that I actually want to play other than Uncharted and Destiny.

I like the XBox One controller better then the DS4. I too find it more comfortable. But size wise they are pretty similar. The DS4 might even be slightly wider overall.

Looks like that Halo flood leak thing was real (sort of) Halo Wars 2 is getting an expansion this fall called "Awakening the Nightmare" it features brand new campaign missions, leaders, multiplayer maps, and a new cooperative mode called Terminus firefight.

I played the Bunker. It was alright, it's a fmv game with a fairly interesting story. Doesn't take real long to beat either. Although it's not a full on fmv game, the best fmv sequences this generation definitely belong to Lococycle

Yo, I've been playing this demo for two hours now. As someone who hated MvC3 with the passion of a thousand burning suns, this plays sooooooooo much better. It feels like a classic CPS2 Capcom fighter despite the ugly graphics. I had a lot of doubts about this game and still worried how it will turn out, but I'm content enough that I'll get $60 worth of enjoyment out of it.

Still, this might be too little too late for Capcom. They've abused their goodwill and faith with fans for too long, and Dragonball FighterZ looks like it's gonna out Marvel MVCI.

Technically, he told us a half lie. He denied the existence of an expansion called "Halo Gravemind", not that the Flood would return in "Awakening the Nightmare".

He did the same with Halo 2. He denied a stand-alone Anniversary release akin to the one the original Halo got in 2011. But since the existence of the MCC was not known at the time and wasn't made official until E3 2014......

So he did lie, but not totally.

Interesting. I think the issue I have with the DS is the control sticks being right next to each other on the bottom of the controller. That's probably just because I'm so used to an Xbox controller now.
 
The free month of Game Pass is up on T-Mobile Tuesday, it says it needs to be redeemed by 6/14, though I don't know if they can actually put a 1 day expiration date on these kinds of codes.

People are upset with the Halo Wars 2 expansion. It does seem pretty shady. I suppose they could be referring to a different expansion being included, but it's pretty stupid to not put that one out first then do a paid expansion after all the Season Pass content is out.

Yeah I have really big hands and the xbox controller is much easier to navigate for me as well

He ain't wrong. Especially when Bungie said the same thing during Destiny 1, and then that exclusive "1 year" ended up being 3 years. And that's assuming XB does get the PS exclusives later this September... at which point it won't even matter since D2 is releasing anyways...
