  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

Everything digital on X1 that I can't rent. Everything looks good to me, but I know they'll be on sale by the end of the year.
 
I am mostly happy to get Dishonored back to get the last achievement I need in the main game. Mostly Flesh and Steel.  It won't be as fun without powers but I can run through pretty fast killing everyone.

In the same boat here. I really want to play Valiant Hearts and have money sitting in my account. Can't justify it when I have other games to play and I know it'll go on sale within a few weeks/months.

 
The Golf Club comes out Tuesday for $35. Looks amazing for golf fans. I might even pick it up if a lot of friends get it. Playing against friends' ghosts looks really fun.

Yep, I now regret not getting MS gift cards from Target last week. I think I've only got enough Bing Rewards for $20 in MS credit.

The only complaint I have about that game is the lack of licensed equipment. I really wanted to be able to play with my clubs. I don't care about golfers' being in the game, but I think it'd be a big deal if they could get licensed equipment.

 
I'm just hoping that Titanfall sales at the 24.99 price are sufficient that MS can approach other companies about having decent discounts on their games on X1...

Bloody Ninja creator said that the full version will be out soon. Might be the first Project Spark game that I'm excited about because I know the creator didn't give up on it and that it will be released soon. Little worried that it might have been rushed. I think the last version just came out a week or 2 ago. Probably won't be as big as I hoped, but maybe more levels will be added when the ability to connect levels comes out.

 
Finally dl X1 GwG: Not liking Strike Suit Zero, having difficulty w the controls, Crimson Dragon reminds me of Panzer Dragoon but only played for a few min. Also having difficulty w the controls.

The initial dragon is a bit sluggish when it comes to moving around - the later dragons are more agile. Still, the free flying sections are a pain - I never got the point I felt proficient, particularly against the end boss. Anyhow, stick with it, I thought it was pretty fun.

I gave up on SSZ during the training mission - too slow paced for me.

*also* if you're achievement hunting, set the difficulty to CASUAL, then beat the entire game. Then beat one mission in Multiplayer (to get credit for beating the entire game in MP) and after, change the difficulty to CLASSIC and beat a mission (to get credit for beating the entire game in CLASSIC).

If you do this every month, or hell, even every other month, you're short-changing yourself (6 x $5 = $30).

I never understand why CAGs who genuinely jump on GWGs and/or Gold weekly sales just don't grab a 12-month card when they hit $35ish 3-4 times a year; it's not exactly a gamble if you're actually intending to use it.

I felt the same way at first. Ended up liking it quite a big. Pretty easy 1000GS too if that matters at all. Hated Crimson Dragon. Suppose I'll give it another go at some point.

 
Call me biased, but TDC is a great coop game!  I damn near give any coop game a pass because as long as you have a friend to play it with, it's totally more enjoyable.  Besides, it's non-stop action!  

The real GWG is going to be Borderlands 2.  Considering it was five dollars back in April and it keeps going on sale, my money's on that.  That, and I just ordered the GOTY edition from Amazon for $25.  I blame my coop buddy for that.  Probably shoulda just bought it back in April.  Another thing, wtf is up with the Vault Hunter pack bullshit about "buying more levels?"

I'm a big Metal Gear fan, so I finally bit on it.... I'd say it depends a lot on how much you plan on replaying the same thing, even after getting all S-ranks. I beat the main mission in 64 minutes, but only got a B rank, so I'll be replaying it once or twice for S-rank and achievements. There's 4 or 5 (smaller) side-missions to S-rank too, but that's it. I'm guessing maybe 4-5 more hours for a 1000G for me, and then I will probably replay it a few times getting hyped for MGSV, so it's probably worth it to me.

tl;dr - if you're not a huge MGS fan, I'd say wait. If you ARE a huge fan, you probably already bought it.

Yeah AC:IV achievements on the Xbox One are messed up.  Sequences 3,5 and 7 have not popped yet 2,4,6 and 8 have.  I have also had other ones go also.  Not sure if I will ever be able to fix it.  Best fix I found was play the game again and they pop...ummm no.

 
If anybody plays Pinball FX 2 on X1, add me. I need more friends that play for the leaderboard. Sticking with the free table until all achievements unlocked or SF table comes out.

I have a friend that got all the AC4 sequence achievements. He just moved to a new house and had to play everything offline. Achievements popped when he got internet. I'm on sequence 6 and had no problems so far. Need to upgrade S.S. Meow Kitty Meow Meow though because we keep getting destroyed.

Titanfall Season Pass(i might just give in on this one ive been waiting too long)Child of Light,Super Time Force,Whistleblower DLC for Outlast,would be waiting on Outlast also but my son couldnt hold out and bought it with some money he made smh.

 
I was once dishonored. A few days ago, I went to McDonalds. I ordered food and when I got to the window.. I got a happy meal bag. >={ I'm a grown man. It was dollar menu food. Now everyone who saw me probably is like.. "omfg look at that obese grown man with a happy meal bag. He must be so dishonored!" So I think I can relate to the new GWG. I'll find out soon!

I was catching up on Walking Dead and was trying to figure out why I couldn't access season 2.

I bought the Season Pass when it was on sale... What's the damn deal!?!

Then I read closer: that item included episodes 2-5. I didn't own episode 1... Let me get that. Oh, $5 more to unlock the full episode? Sure. Whatever.

It never fails that things just aren't what they seem...

Season Pass... SHOULD INCLUDE EVERYTHING! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

I understand where you are coming from, but usually a season pass for a game does not include the core game, which is the first episode in this case. Since this is episodic content, the word "season" leads one to believe it includes all episodes in the season, which it does not.

It's a weird situation that's probably derived from MS' XBL requirements since on PSN the seasons are inclusive of the first episode.

ive ran into this with a few games. Just go offline and delete the save from only your console, go back online and restore your save from the cloud and they should unlock.

They pop up at a later time. I know I've had the same experience with a few achievements for it.

Worse one was Sequence 1 not popping up, even after I replayed it twice. The next day it popped up with the date of the first time I achieved it.

They all eventually pop up. Just chill and continue playing the game.

 
When I played through Wolfenstein I didnt unlock a single achievement until I was almost through the entire campaign. I was watching TV a few days after beating it and like 250g worth of achievements popped up for the first 3/4 or so of the game. Same with the achievement for shooting the moon in Strike Suit Zero. Very odd but it seems they do eventually pop up

Thanks! Totally worked and it shows they popped in the right order also. I am way too anal about my achievements and having missing sequence achievements is the worst.

Hey, haven't been around the thread this week so sorry if this has been discussed but is the first DLC for Titanfall on XB1 on sale for everyone? I didn't see it on the master list here but I grabbed it at $7 from my console.

I was wondering if this was a special thing because I am on EA Access now but maybe DLC just doesn't show up on the web store yet for XB1 it looks like?

Also, what do you guys think of Sixty Second Shooter Prime? I totally missed that game but saw a friend playing it on my activity feed. Looks pretty cool and I always like those Rez/Geometry Wars/Infinity Gene-type games. It's also only $5.

If you're signed in to your gamertag when you're playing the game, you get the achievements. Doesn't matter which console you're on, whose game it is. Totally depends on which gamertag is signed in at the time the achievement is earned.

Titanfall isn't apart of EA access.
 
So are there any plans to release Frontier's Edge on the 360 version of Titanfall? I haven't heard or seen anything, and the third pack is already being advertised for the Xbone.
If they forgot about us last gen peons, guess I'll keep my fingers crossed for some bomb ass Black Friday deals.
