  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

I just went bonkers on the sorcerer and killed him, which I think is "Afraid of No Ghosts" achievement. No achievement. Anybody getting achievements to unlock. Might be too early to unlock them.

I suck at pinball. Couldn't even break 2 million until that crazy sorcerer multiball thing that gave me like 10 million alone.

Yeah, I got the achievement for Early Adopter or something like that, for playing a game within the first month of release.

 
That's a challenge though. I wonder if you have to buy a different table to access achievements. Other f2p games require a purchase before getting achievements. I wouldn't mind buying a Marvel table. More likely I probably didn't do something right.

I not only unlocked the challenge but got an achievement to pop without buying anything so far.

 
Downloaded all the ones I could from my 360 purchases, the classic Zen pack and Balance of the Force are showing up as $10 still. Other then that all the ones that are listed showed up as free for me.

And of course I spoke too soon, just unlocked the stockpiler achievement, and it didn't pop. Shows up to the far right in game but hasn't unlocked yet.

I forget which pack it was, but one of the Star Wars packs showed up for me at $10 as well, but when I clicked on it, it showed up the correct price of zero. Not sure why that one's being funky though as the rest were being displayed.

As for achievements, I unlocked two achievements (both in Sorcerer's Lair) without any problem last night around 11:30pm or so (EST). And while it didn't last long, it was kind of nice being one of the top ten highest scorers on the TA leaderboard, if only for half an hour or so.

 
Achievement app fucked up AGAIN last night. I was playing Guacamelee and didn't get the cheev for breaking the fake statue in the Tule Tree. Went to check the achievement app and it was giving me error messages. This also happened a couple weeks ago and all my locked achievements ended up popping not long afterwards but its really annoying.

I had a bunch of issues last night including this one with the new preview update that was launched the other day. So far it is really buggy and very laggy.

There's something going on with Xbox Live in general. I popped a couple of achievements last night on :360: that still haven't been detected by TA, and I can't get the live.xbox.com website to load at all since yesterday evening.

I could be wrong as this is just a guess, but I'm thinking the recent live issues are happening because of internal preparation for the 29 new countries being added in September. My speculation is they are adding more load balancing, and it's the synchronization of all the servers that is the issue.

I'm guessing it's Anonymous hacking MS servers because they are upset that Tomb Raider is a timed Xbox exclusive. Lol. /jk

So I downloaded and loaded up Pinball FX 2 on the Xbox One and so far I only have the Sorcerer table.  I turned on my 360 and loaded up Pinball FX 2 there and I have Avengers Chronicles, Fear Itself, Infinite Gauntlet, World War Hulk, Paranormal, Secrets of the Deep, Biolab, Pasia, and Rome high lighted at My Collection.  I don't remember getting these, but if it's high lighted and under My Collection does that mean I bought them and it's unlocked?  Or is it just trials?  It looks like I have Scores in them too, I just don't remember playing lol. 

edit: nm it's telling me to buy and import on the Xbox One, I guess it'll show which ones are mine.  I still don't remember getting these. 

Only Paranormal and Marvel pack (Avengers, Fear Itself, Infinity Gauntlet, and Hulk) unlocked for me on the One.  Hoping the rest follows.

I could be wrong as this is just a guess, but I'm thinking the recent live issues are happening because of internal preparation for the 29 new countries being added in September. My speculation is they are adding more load balancing, and it's the synchronization of all the servers that is the issue.

I'm in the opposite camp. I unlocked two achievements and the challenge. One achievement didn't unlock correctly on my system and on TA all I have unlocked so far is the challenge. Image below, maybe:

Welp, looks like Dreamfall Chapters has become a PS4 exclusive when it comes to consoles. It'll also be coming to PC, Mac and Linux. I remember the 360/X1 version was a long shot with the Wii U version being a high probability as it was mentioned in multiple gaming outlets, especially Nintendo ones. Heck, the Wii U version was on their stretch Kickstarter goal.

Seems Red Thread Games' twitter is getting attacked by POed Wii U backers who funded their Kickstarter. However, RTG is stating the Kickstarter was specifically for PC, Mac and Linux with the devs funding the Wii U version. And they've effectively removed anything Wii U related from the Kickstarter page. What a mess :bomb:

They did say it was a time exclusive for Sony though, so we'll probably see it on Xbox One later on.

 
That makes me sad. I'll actually be building a gaming PC later this year specifically for Dreamfall, so I'm covered, but it would have been neat to have it on Xbone too since I played the Xbox version of the previous game.

 
Well I knew it was coming but Destiny now has a season pass, sorry "expansion pass".  The dang thing is $34.99 which saves you a whopping $5 on the DLC.  Shit be crazy.

They said they are bringing out a DLC pack every 2-3 months. The expansion pass 1 covers the first 2 DLC packs. Im waiting til this game gets a GOTY or goes free to play before they see a dime from me. If the game is supported as they would like it will bring the price to well over $200.

 
Anyone know how to get into the Update Preview program? Is it invite only now? I thought I was part of it but evidently it was the 360 dash beta and not the X1 one.

Evil Within also has a season pass for $20 and its a single player game but if the dlc is really good then i got no problem spending a lil extra for some great quality. Destiny season pass will probably not be worth it, just like the Watchdogs season pass

Why does it matter? You probably wouldn't even play the main game for more than a couple of hours when you buy the GOTY edition on clearance in 2018.

So am I imagining things or was the paranormal free at one time. I know I have it on 360 and I was just charged for it on XBone. Ugh $2.50 for a table I didn't even like. The rest of my tables seem to be transferring just fine.
