  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

The length of the first five episodes of TWD1 were 2.5/2.5/2.5/2.5/1.5 hrs, the first episode of TWD2 is 1.5 hrs and the first two episodes of The Wolf Among Us is 2.25/1.5 hrs. I guess their answer to tackling all the new franchises that they are working with is to make much shorter games.

In the Spring? They're doomed. Titanfall comes out soon, and while the 60 dollar price point might run away some people, a lot of the shooter crowd's migrating over there.

Still not sure if this fully answers the question. Wasn't asking about who collects the tax or about whether or not customers had to pay the tax. Tax is going to paid regardless. My issue is that you paid for a season pass code that doesn't give you enough for a season pass thanks to tax issues, hence false advertisement?
 
I'm not sure why you guys are so interested in getting in this beta in the first place. I just watched some gameplay videos and I could probably pick any FPS off of my shelf and wind up with a more fun online game. And can we stop ignoring the fact that Warface is probably the worst name for anything ever?

I suppose it's for further establishing the Far Cry moment, but FC3 just had a 33% price reduction, from 30$ to 20$. Probably final, as it wasn't put on sale on the usual times, plus the next sale should be Fable stuff - and that game has been on temporary sale like what, 10 days ago?

There's only so many X1 arcade titles.
Crimson Dragon and Lococycle were already on sale. So its either Peggle 2 (which would be awesome), Max (which I already have), Killer Instinct (again already have), or Powerstar Golf (AGAIN, I already own).

Yeah, well. I'd consider Fable 3's DLC if it went on sale (as the game was free some time ago).

Ahh another game I own the DLC but may never play. I am avoiding RPGs right now trying to put a dent in the backlog. Starting something like Skyrim would be me pretty much saying I never plan on playing the other 80 games.

Well according to MS there are NO such thing as X1 "arcade" titles... Games are Games so they could put anything on sale. Forza, DR, etc.

They're still arcade titles. They're under $20 and they aren't as heavily developed as a full title. So I'll still call them that.

I wouldn't hold my breath on a full title being on sale.

That's what I tried to do until I bought KoA on sale the other week...

 
Would have debated on 2k14 at $30, want to pick up a disc copy at GameStop with the bday coupon for 25 but there's none in stock around me... $40 is too steep.. My wallet is safe for another day

You gotta blind the players with something somehow or you need something to get the extra oomph when you punch a player to get that hockey puck and score a home run. I've never watched basketball by the way...

And only thing I've bought this whole month game wise is Resident Evil: Revelations from Gamefly.

I also should catch up with my backlog, but then rises a non RPG that have you busy for 100+ hours (like Rumble Roses XX in my case).

Yep, gotta play KoA too. Bought it on last sale and been waiting ages to play that game. Since the story's from R.A. Salvatore, has to be good.

Though let's be real here. You can beat Fable 3 and all side missions in about 15 hours. If you want to do all the collectibles and DLC and cheevos and whatnot it's 30 max.

Not exactly a long game...

 
I just wish they'd get some Xbox One titles out period.

This time of year is always a drought, but it's worse with two systems, (360 and One), with a drought. I've beaten Tomb Raider, (original one, even went back and got all of the single player achievements). I already have Fable on original Xbox, which is backwards compatible. None of the Christmas delays are due out soon either.

Give me some Watch Dogs. Give me some Dying Light. Give me Elder Scrolls Online. Best of all, give me The Division. Closest thing we have coming in a couple of weeks is Thief. Could be good. The floodgates are brimming, but nothing is getting through until post E3.
 
Am I missing the option to queue Xbox One games to download to my console so they're finished by the time I turn it on next or does it not have that option?

Powerstar Golf and Crimson Dragon are the ones that have been on sale. LocoCycle is a permanent price drop so that could still theoretically go on sale. We're waiting on Max, Peggle 2, Killer Instinct, Spartan Assault, or LocoCycle sales now. I own everything except LocoCycle or Spartan Assault so those would be cool.

Forgot PSG was on sale. Bought it a long time ago. Id prefer Peggle to go on sale.

If they weren't so stubborn about the digital stuff before launch, they'd be able to fill in the holes more easily with those sorts of games like Sony has been able to with the PS4. Hell, just having Pinball FX2 with Cross Buy tables from the XBLA version would be good enough for this slow time of the year.

I have no room to talk really. Although the Tank Suit for Dead Space is incredibly useful and a powerful suit, I bought mainly because it looks really cool. So...yeah...can't say much. The "ugh" in my previous post was more about some of the NBA 2K14 stuff being on sale again quite soon after the last time.
