  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

I picked up the last 10 or so Pinball FX 2 tables I was missing. I only had time to try out the soccer one yesterday, but it was surprisingly fun, and I haven't even figured out the mechanics yet.

Now to work on all those achievements... I want that completion.

 
Nothing for me this week, it seems. Off topic, finally started Lords of Shadow: MoF and got to the Trevor part and the game is starting to feel like a chore. If I weren't so interested on the saga's story i probably would have stopped, so is it just me or am i doing something wrong ?

 
If I only want one PFX2 Soccer table, which one is the best to get? I know they're the same structure, so I'm looking mainly for best voice (if different for each one) and color scheme.  I have no affinity towards any sports team.  And I mean ANY.  (I trialed the Zen version when trying it the first time).

I've hard of Arsenal from a few movies and/or IT Crowd.  Can't remember exactly, now.

TL:DR: In a super-nerdy/girly way: which Soccer Pinball Table has the nicest colors? :)

I know nothing about Soccer, but if the big draw for you is colors maybe just look up like a list of what team colors are and pick whatever team uses your favorite colors? Granted, if the voice is different that would be something I know nothing about, but just figured if you just pick by a color you like then it probably doesn't really matter what team it is haha.

I've only played the Real Madrid and Arsenal tables, and if you're looking for colours, the Arsenal one has much more colours. I suggest you just download the trials and see which one you like the most.

Try the Barcelona team. It's colorful and well, I'm not into soccer, but if I was, F.C.Barcelona would be my choice (It's from my city after all LOL).

Anyone have a confirmed price for Cold, Cold Heart? I already own Initiation and if the new dlc is under $10 I might as well pass on the SP.

Weak! I bought both Windows and WP games when they were 1.99 recently. Hopefully it's ONLY 8.1 because I don't have it yet. Either way, sucky to lose out on two bucks. That's a horse armor.

I saw on two sites (after searching heavily for the same answer you are looking for) and it seems like potentially $14.99 was the anticipated DLC price. At the lowest, I would imagine $9.99- which, at that price you mind as well buy the season pass. I went ahead with the SP and I think it's worth it (at that price).

I wasn't sure I wanted to go back into Fallout New Vegas again, but at $2.49 per pack, it's clearly worth it. Here's to hoping we see a Mass Effect sale in May (as it is long over-due).

Can anyone tell me if any of the Borderlands Headhunter Packs or if Skyrim: Hearthfire is worth buying too?

Thanks guys. Yeah, even though I own Initiation, I'm just gonna buckle down and buy the SP. Sucks there's no use for it as I have 1k in the game, lol.

How I wish I could give you this game. I bought it and tried but I cannot love it as the UI is almost always clunky due to screen crowding as more mechanics are introduced. Wish I could purge the impulse buy by helping someone else.

I loved it on the iOS but maybe I was a little more forgiving with touch controls and the little screen. I thought the touch and drag was intuitive and faster than cycling through units via controller. The iOS version had the option to do that via onscreen button as well but I didn't use it. It doesn't have the personality of Fire Emblem but it satisfied my strategy kick. Upgrading units is do much fun!
 
I'm tempted on many of the Pinball FX tables, but they are cross-buy on PS3 and Vita, so it might be worth buying them there since the difference is only $1.25 per table. I'll probably buy the Marvel pack on XBLA and individual tables on PSN. Are there any other exclusive tables on XBLA besides Splosion Man? PSN has Ninja Gaiden, though I don't know if it's good since it was made for the first Pinball FX.

 
I started playing DD: Dark Arisen after buying it last week, and does anyone know how to fast travel in the game? I can't figure it out (I'm only like level 9 so I haven't played that much).

yoy have to find / or buy teleport crystals but you can only teleport to major towns or if you have check point stone you can place it in the area you want to fast travel back n fourth.

Ah, so the Ms Splosion Man table is exclusive? Should've know that. Love that table, and it uses the voice and music from the game, which makes it most enjoyable for gamers who had previously played Ms Splosion Man.

edit: a $1,25 difference per table is a lot of money if you plan on buying them all, since there are about 40 of them.

It was pretty dead around this time last year. Only people playing were crazy high level and kicked my ass pretty bad. The game is really fun, but also really unbalanced so it can get frustrating quickly.

EDIT: But the sale might be bringing in more people.

Bloodbath Arena is legit. If you have friends to play with, I recommend it. Level cap raised to sixty, achievements, and an arena mode in a game that works well with one. Also, new mods if that's your thing.

The Bloodbath Arena DLC is just a horde mode with leaderboards. Oh, and it comes with achievements.

Dishonored has two story DLCs that are two chapters of the same story (Knife of Dunwall, followed by the Brigmore Witches), focused around the antagonist. Trials is just a set of challenges that involve your special abilities, and Arsenal is just all the pre-order DLCs in one (they give you boosts/upgrades).

And great job on updating the first post on all of the sales. I completely overlooked the sale on Toy Soldiers DLC. What a good game. Easily the best tower defense game I've played since Plants vs. Zombies.

Between Dishonored, Dead Island, and Toy Soldiers DLC, I'm spending $15 overall. It's my first purchase since February.

Speaking of Dragon's Dogma, do you need to have beat the game or just need a save file that you just started in order to get the extras from Dark Arisen?

Damn another week of nothing for me. If there weren't GOTY editions for the so many of these games I would have gotten a ton of stuff.  Was going to get the Saint's Row 4 pass but just saw that a GOTCentury is probably coming to the US http://www.shacknews.com/article/83856/saints-row-4-game-of-the-century-edition-coming-soon

If only the stuff that hasn't gotten a GOTY would be put on sale I would finally spend the ton of MS points I have before they expire.

Anybody know where the hell it tells you about expired points on the new Xbox site? Since they changed it I can't find any info about that. I'm not sure if its because i have no points expiring soon or I'm looking in the wrong place.

Hey guys, anyone else is having problems with the avatar items from Pinball FX2? I can't even see them. I read on the internet that that problem was solved long time ago, and you had to only update the clothes, but it doesn't work for me.

Any of you had that problem and already know how to fix it?

 
Regarding Dark Arisen, I'm almost positive that you DO have the additional content, including the fast travel stones (10 of them I believe) automatically in your storage box. You have to get to the inn in Gran Soren, talk to the inn keeper to get access.

I liked DD and had a good time with it but quit playing because I hated having to trek long distances just to sell some stuff. The fast travel system changed everything for me and now I love it.
 
I don't plan to play online in Assassin's Creed IV.  Is there any other dlc besides Freedom Cry that is worth purchasing for single player?

For me on PS3 I only had to have a save file. I had randomly played the original for about 5 minutes and then when we got Dark Arisen on PS+ I booted it up and was gifted with all the bonus items, including the item that gives you unlimited fast travel, I think.

 
Yeah, I didn't realize you may need to have had a vanilla DD save file in order to get the bonus stuff. My info was pretty wrong I think (going from memory, it's been a while), sorry about that.
