  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

I think the Season Pass is cross buy at least for a limited time until May 31st of thie year. But the individual DLC is not. So if you just buy Freedom Cry then you'll have to rebuy it for the Xbone. But if you buy the pass you're in gravy for both systems.

I woke up today to look at my new Pinball collection and found the sale was still on. I must be a pinball table buying addict now because I just bought 3 more. Mars, Excalibur and Football.

 
Question for those of you like me who own the original Pinball FX.
 
Does buying the tables that FX1 supported add them to FX1 and 2 or just 2?
 
Specifically, these 5 tables:


I know buying them before FX2 came out let you import them into FX2, but I don't know whether or not it works backwards.

Nope, just checked. They will only work for FX2.

I ended up buying Zen Classics and Super League Football (Zen table), the Pac-Man CE DX+ DLC, both Toy Soldiers DLC, and all of the AC Verdict Day combo packs. Everything else I either already have or don't want.

Too bad this weeks sale is poopy.
 
I promised myself that I won't buy anymore FX2 tables, but this morning I checked and found that the deals were still live, so I had to pick up the last 3 tables I was missing. Now I have all the tables...and I suck at all of them.......well maybe except for the PvZ table. :)

 
Today is a sour day. I have a friend who loves Magic 2013, so everytime he comes to visit, we play that game and unlock cards. So today when starting the game an update was available, so I updated and... my saved was erased T_T I had almost every card in the game unlocked (that's a TON of hours worth of playing).

What's more, now I can't even access the foiled cards the game gives you as free redeemable codes. And I don't want to delete my cache to see if that's the problem with the foiled codes, since clearing the cache affects to my other games.

FarCry 3 has a large price reduction in a few regions.

Marked down to 14.99 in the UK and 29.95 in AU (from 109.95)

JP also cut from 7200 to 2940

No idea if this is a temp price drop/sale or permanent.

 
Seriously though, I ended up caving and buying the SW Balance of the Force and Ms. Splosion Man tables. Sheesh, can't wait to rebuy these on the Wii U when they go on sale as well!! - edit I know Ms. Splosion Man is 360 exclusive

You can always rebuy Ms. Splosion on PC if it will make you feel better.

Damn, that sucks. Has there been other cases like that? I can't imagine that happening without kicking up a shitstorm. I was just playing Resident Evil: Revelations earlier and there was a patch that I blindly agreed to download, and I faintly thought, "What if this patch erases my saves?" Now I have to watch my back. What the hell, Xbox?

Eh, gaming on the PC can be a dangerous drug.....what with all those cheap cheap prices. I bought all the Popcap games for a fiver in a humble bundle and I realized how crazy things had gotten last weekend. I scanned the room and my wife is playing PvZ on her tablet, I'm playing Zuma on the PC(second playthrough after beating it on my Windows Phone) and the 7, 9 & 10 year-old nieces are all playing Peggle in the game room. Fun games man........

Yeah, that problem happened to a lot of people. It's a matter that comes since the first Dotp game, so 3 games and still fucking with the saves. It seems that Magic 2014 has online problems if you buy the expansion DLC (I don't use to play online in Magic, so that wouldn't bother me).

Pros: Great game. I suggest the Steampunk DLC. Think TF2 with Batmen and Jokerz.

Cons: Biggest bunch of whiners play this game. Mostly COD players who are taking a break from COD. WB/Monolith has completely abandoned the console game in favor of a P2P PC version noone ever got on board with. Completely abandoned for there LOTR game.

If you are successful as anything other than aBurly on rollerskates, you'll be called a cheater. If you are a burly on rollerskates, you'll be called OP. Heavy with gliders will also be called OP. I suggest pissing off EVERYONE with Jetpacks and the Witchdoctor. Also, throw jack in the boxes on healing stations, they love that.

 
Achievements are pretty easy as well. There is one that is very time consuming though for getting level 100. I never got it.

No? This year is the 75th anniversary and its a perfect time to start promoting it since Cold Cold Heart was released today.

Off-Topic: Anyone else wish they'd announce with this year's anniversary a BluRay for Batman TAS and Batman Beyond? Id buy it in a heartbeat.

If you live near a Five Below, they may have the arcade triple pack with Limbo, Trials HD, and Splosion Man for $5. Of course, if you're like seemingly everyone else here and already have the other two, that may be less enticing.

I Think they said it numerous times, but Batman: TAS will never be remastered since the original animation has all been damaged to hell and back because it wasn't well taken care of. Beyond is a possibility though. I'm just happy it got that new one minute short a few days ago from the original cast and crew.

We got as conclusive a conclusion as we'll ever get in Justice League Unlimited season 2 finale with Batman Beyond. It also has the best explanation of why Batman matters by Amanda Waller in it. Also I re-edited this just to see if it matters.

They already gave us one. Guessing you never watched Justice League Unlimited. :p

Fun fact, Batman: TAS, Batman Beyond, 80s He-Man, Tiny Toon Adventures, Superman: TAS, Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and parts of JL/JLU were all penned by the same man, Paul Dini. The DC animated "universe" is called the Diniverse because of it, so there's a lot of overlap in continuity between those shows.

Anyways, watch the JLU episode called Epilogue if you're a Beyond fan. I'd recommend watching the rest of the series while you're at it(so it makes more sense, and also because it's good TV anyways).

I believe JLU is on Netflix.

I read Timm said in a commentary that since the show was a tribute to old Fleischer cartoons. I'm sure they can get the old cartoons though.
