  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

People always bitch at me because my games are in alphabetical order, I don't really see what the big deal is. Props for the OCD, or CDO(If you have it that bad).
 
Alpha Protocol is not available on EU Marketplace... this makes no sense. I would've bought it for 5€ because it's Obsidian but hey, MS doesn't want my money.

And why would they discount older Fable games but not DLCs and DLCs for the newest one (Anniversary) but not that game :/

I'll try Condemned demo and see if I enjoy it, it also looks like an easy 1k G

You mean an easy 970 G. Since this was before 1K became the standard and yeah it's easy as long as you DON'T MISS ON A COLLECTIBLE SINCE YOU CAN'T REPLAY MISSIONS. GODDAMN SILVER PLATE AND MELEE WEAPON CHEEZMINT! YOU RUIN EVERYTHING! EVERRRRRRYTHING!

Yep, that's it's regular price. I've been playing that game lately, for nostalgia's sake. All the Genesis Sonic games are great (though my favourite is the first one), but I won't pay more than 1 buck for each of them. I payed that price for Sonic and Knuckles because I thought it was updated somehow, but it's just a rom (thanks to the save option, you can get the emeralds easily).

Wasn't Fable 3 free last year? Lol.

The Cave is a fun game if you like puzzles and trying to figure things out, though it was only $3.74 during the last sale.

Alpha Protocol and Vanquish -- decent games. Don't expect AAA quality material, but they're decent. Didn't understand why Alpha Protocol was so badly panned before; I thought it was alright.

Lego Batman 2 -- pretty simple and straightforward game though if you're a completionist, getting all those bricks, etc. can be a chore even with cheats enabled. Was fun, but got burned out from going for all the collectibles and this may have been my last Lego game ever.

I guess if I do pick anything up this week, it'll probably be between Vanquish, Lego Harry Potter, Anarchy Reigns, or Fable II. I had Fable 2 from ages ago when there was the marketplace glitch with the demo but my hard drive corrupted and I never got to finish it. For $5, I may just pick it up to finish the game. 

Or I could wait for the FIFA World Cup game on sale from Thursday, considering that's the cheapest (~$40) the retail disc has been anyways.

I guess if I do pick anything up this week, it'll probably be between Vanquish, Lego Harry Potter, Anarchy Reigns, or Fable II. I had Fable 2 from ages ago when there was the marketplace glitch with the demo but my hard drive corrupted and I never got to finish it. For $5, I may just pick it up to finish the game.

Or I could wait for the FIFA World Cup game on sale from Thursday, considering that's the cheapest (~$40) the retail disc has been anyways.

No. I too got in on that glitch where Microsoft thought it would be smart to release the game in 2 separate parts, but as long as you had the first part you had the full game. I believe this was before titles started to be put out digitally. Point is you can't redownload it for the full game. Honestly just buy a cheap copy from GS and then return it once completed.

 
Should I pull the trigger on Strider? I feel like it's probably worth $7.50 since I'm a fan of the originals, but the limited selection of titles on XB1 makes me think anything could be a Games with Gold freebie.

There's that and there's that it's rumored for PS+ next month. I bought it anyway because it's a good price and used the free money from last week.

I've seen that rumor as well. No idea if there is any credence at all to it though. I think I'll gamble on it then. Worst case scenario it's on several platforms, I can get it cheap again soon enough.

EB and Gamestop are the same company and should have the same prices. This guy must be confused with the Platinum Hits version of the game (includes DLC on dics) which is $17.99 at GS while the vanilla version is $3.

That's a cute list there. My backlog has 500+ games (not even counting PC & Steam games) and over 1500 DVD/BDs. No those are not typos. I need to take a pic one of these days. So you can feel pretty good about what you have yet to play. You're welcome! :roll:

I'm in Canada, we don't have Gamestops (at least not here), it's all labelled as EB Games. Also, it's $15 used for the normal edition, it's next to impossible to find a Platinum Hits version. Hell even Amazon has it listed as $15 and the cheapest is $2.70 + ~$5 shipping.

Nabbed condemned glad it went back on sale as I missed it last time it was. I'm really contemplating Vanquish, main reason I haven't already nabbed it is I'm trying to save space... but heck the gameplay footage I've seen for it looks great.

Vanquish is good, dumb fun. One of my favorites from last gen. A few tweaks to the design and it would have been unbelievable. Still, the speed and style of combat are great. Never regretted full price on that one.
 
If I counted my backlog, it would probably be half of ooga's.

Decided to try Alpha Protocol again and I remember why I didn't bother finishing it. Combat is good (although one kill grenades are annoying) and I like how the dialogue choices determine how the story goes. But the thing that kills it for me are the puzzles. Too damn hard.  The matching codes one changes the position of the password midway in; all the flashing in the meantime can lead to serious dizziness.

And if trial and error weren't bad enough, you have a time limit as well. And to make matters worse, the puzzles keep changing. This is especially bad when you have to match the numbered wires (at one point in was 7 at a time)  and get three tries until you are booted out of the puzzle. Very, very annoying. If they toned them down or got rid of those, I would recommend this game.

Thinking of buying Anarchy Reigns and Vikings even though there are no demos. For under $5 each, I could at least say I gave them a fair chance. 

 
Huh....so I purchased a $15 MS card from amazon last night for Lego Marvel and got an email awarding me $5 promotional credit for the app store.  Anyone else get this?  Too bad it expires in August cause it'll probably be the last to be used since I still have like $20 from the grand theft auto promo. 

Kids are so far having a blast with Lego Marvel.  :)
