  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

I wanna pull the trigger on PvZ: Garden Warfare because for the double license so I can play with my brother, but $20 just seems kinda steep with all the stuff that's on sale.

Maybe if I hadn't just spent $15 on the Banjo Bundle.. but I guess it'll have to wait.

Hopefully the community's still alive during the next sale.

Edit- Decision made on ArcaniA and it's a definite no. It's one of those things where if maybe this or maybe that were just a little bit better it would be more guilty pleasure than just a bad game. The game's so aliased that you can't barely tell what's going on, combat is sluggish and clunky, and the game as a whole feels like it's drowning in molasses. If just one of those areas was up to par I would probably bite on it. That money's better spent on the Skyrim DLC or something though.

Yea I just tried the demo myself, and while I do like crappy games. I just can't waste precious hard drive space on this. It'll probably be on Gamestop's 3 for $10 deal later down the road. I'll grab it then.

It is a very solid game based on an ME3 style play. It was a sleeper hit for me as I bought it just to play with my daughter and started to play it on my own from time to time. And yes it probably has the most invested hours in it on my Xbone. More hours than my other games which are all fun to me also Titanfall, Watch dogs, Battlefield, ghosts and DR3. Only reason it is more than ghosts is because all my friends play on the 360 which I bust out to play ghosts.
 
So can anyone confirm that buying the season pass for TWD S2 will grant you a free code for the first episode? Or this was a random deal that doesn't apply anymore? Very tempted by that pass and if it's 7.50 for the whole season it's a lovely deal. Missed out on the 1$ price on the first ep back then, expecting it to go free sooner or later.

 
Anyone have an opinion on the Red Faction sale game? The screens, I admit, look good. Haven't played any of the games other than the very first one, none this gen.

For what it counts, the demo was definitely solid back then. Impressive physics and destruction, just as you'd expect from a Red Faction game. It was, however, hoovering around in 1$ bundles on the PC, so if PC is your thing you can definitely get it way cheaper.

I got the message for the free code but i never bought the season pass.

The message i got says "Congratulations! As a valued member of Xbox Live, you've been selected to receive a free code for Episode 1 of The Walking Dead Season Two game for Xbox 360."

No, I don't do any pc gaming at all. Is the game linear or more open world type? Long or short? Those are my main questions...is it worth the price.

I bought the Season Pass the day it went on sale but I never got any code in my account.

Also I don't own the Episode 1 on my account because I bought it with my alt account.

It's definitely linear and doesn't take terribly long to beat. HLTB has it clocked at 7.5 hours for the main story. I would say that's pretty close to how long it took me.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that. It's an Arcade title, so there aren't any physical copies that you can get pre-owned. On top of that, this is the first time it's gone on sale since its release. I don't think it'll get any cheaper than $9.99.

 
I'm replaying Dragon Age 2 to clean up a few achievements I missed and I'm really enjoying it. The graphics are a little dated but this isn't as bad as I remember it being. The combat is definitely a little more dumbed down compared to DAO and I hate the new darkspawn designs...not to mention the rehashed environments...but everything else holds up well.

I absolutely loved that game. I thought the companions and the storyline were way more interesting and unique than in Origins. The extreme environment reuse was definitely unfortunate though.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that. It's an Arcade title, so there aren't any physical copies that you can get pre-owned. On top of that, this is the first time it's gone on sale since its release. I don't think it'll get any cheaper than $9.99.

2. Just because it is an arcade title doesn't mean it won't be on sale again (and for a lower price)

Banjo Bundle for me. Wasn't everyone like "I WANT BANJO!". They must be pleased now...I don't know if I've seen these on sale before. So 50% off is pretty good.
