  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

OK, I finally bought something. Grabbed KOA, I'll trade my disc copy to GS for $11.20 after bonuses on Monday. I wasn't going to play it anytime soon anyways. I might as well get a little something for it.

Bought stick of truth and didn't realize that it took from my paypal instead of my microsoft account so I chatted with one of the customer service people online and told them about it and they ended up refunding me the money and leaving the game on my account. Pretty cool of them.

I haven't gotten to the second yet but I would expect it to pick right up from the first the way that game ended. The series was supposed to be a tetralogy involving all four horseman in one big story so that makes sense.

Kind of but not really, but they're excellent. Just don't experience them in Silent Hill HD as it's a mess. Just go out and get a PS2 and some used copies.

Love the SH games, too bad the hd collection is just a bad port but its still playable. To answer your question they closely resemble the first 3 Resident evils down to the tank controls

Darksider story involves 4 horseman of Apocalypse and their bout. In 1st 'War' sequence. Second is about 'Death's journey which is linked to 'War' faults. In Darsiders 2 brother wants to help brother.

Death's story runs parallel to the Horseman from the first game. DS2 is infinitely better than the first game, IMO. It was a solid game, even though I never finished it, I did like the story. Worth $10 IMO.

Darksiders 2 is worth its original price IMHO.  Great adventure.  I fell in love with Ds2 brilliant soundtrack, Jesper Kyd simply outdid himself on this one.  I like his stuff form AssCreed games, but Ds2 soundtrack is a master piece, such grand and epic music.

I got sick of the platforming in Darksiders 2. Felt like old school Tomb Raider. Combat was fun and overall the game is much better than the first.

SF4 is crazy this year at Evo. Capcom should use some of these results in ads to show what a big difference Ultra is.

I'm hoping KOF finals will help me learn how to not lose to arcade mode boss almost instantly.
 
Picked up NG II and Stick of Truth today.  Torn on Left 4 Dead 2.  Fun game(and its better than the original), but definitely need friends to play with to get a full experience.

After this refund, still have about 25 dollars to go.  Only games I could for is AC: Revelations and AC III.  I'll hold out on Deus Ex and maybe skate 2 on the final day.

I bought it, I just have to figure out how to get enough free space to download it. :whee:

Really disappointed though that the three add-ons that were free on PC are $7 a piece on 360 even if it's MS's economics that are at fault.

Now I have to decide on Ninja Gaiden 2. Really don't see myself playing it again but it's only $5. :wall:

Select Goro Daimon and spam his ground pound against the last boss. Sure you're cheesing him but he does much worse to you if you give him the chance.

The trial challenges are next to impossible. There are YouTube videos of Evo KOF competitors trying to do them and failing. I would be surprised if many people outside the development team could do them.

LOL...Sorry, I just didn't see the appeal of the first LFD game. I tried the demo when it came out and really didn't think it was any fun. Or do you mean my not doing any multiplayer? I just never got into playing games with other people. Strictly a solo gamer here 99% of the time.

Like I said, it's not personal just that we have vastly different opinions on certain games recently. L4D does have to be played in multiplayer with friends, or at least internet acquaintances, to really show off what makes it special though. Preferably on the hardest setting as you're supposed to fail nearly as often as you succeed.
