  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

I know right. That one moment where he should have been dead early on and it was match point was crazy. Not quite that Daigo moment but close.

 
Yeah i grabbed ducktales. Might actually buy magic next week. It would be the only game ever intentionally purchased at full price. These sales are just so disappointing i might as well just buy what i want and quit hoping for sales while building a cheap backlog i will never play...
 
Wasn't there a Zelda game that also had a clock on screen the entire time?

I echo those who don't mind it.  It just drives the urgency of the story line and makes me focused on playing. Didn't bother me in the PS1 Resident Evil games so why should it bother me now?

Also, we were all waiting for the worst CoD game to go on sale! Although, Spec Ops is fun for $20. Guess I'll lock down MGS:GZ and SFxT and call it a weekend.

This was me too. 1999 mode is a bitch, but once you get through the first couple of areas and get a vigor or two, you're on your way. I did 1999 mode and go the achievement for playing that mode without buying things from the vending machine and I wouldn't call myself a pro gamer or anything. It's a challenge, but very doable.

 
Can i get some genuine feedback on Ducktales: Remastered.  Obviously for 5 bucks most games are worth it, is this one of them?  I remember the original but it doesn't stand out as something insanely awesome for some reason (now Quackshot is another story)  But really is it worth the 5?

 
I left for a few minutes and come back to the SF4 stream and THERE'S A ROSE IN THE TOP 8?! I mained rose when I was playing SF4 pretty hardcore and no one played her. Guess I'm rooting for this guy to win the whole thing.

The zombies aren't really that dangerous on their own but that people are in danger, that you have to prioritize, make choices and take risks keeps you from slowly making your way through them. If everything just sits and waits for you to do it on your own time at your own pace the impact of your choices wouldn't br nearly as great. It's got some rogue like qualities in that you're supposed to fail, learn, grow and play it multiple times in multiple ways.

Yeah, I have been playing DR2, and I like it a lot. Don't let the clock intimidate you. I thought that whole mechanic would be really annoying, but it's not. You might not have time to rescue all of the survivors on your first playthrough, but it's not that difficult to complete the main goals before time runs out.

 
A quick note about my gaming tastes...hated the Zelda games, with the exception of the old style couple on the gameboy color. Never quite got the appeal of the N64/GC/Wii versions.

Quick note about my personal gaming tastes, I don't like to relegate myself to a particular style or approach to gaming because more often than not I find I quite enjoy the things I avoided before for one reason or another, but enjoy them because they provide different sorts of satisfaction.

 
Anyone play Painkiller? I've always wanted to try it but know little about this version. I know there's a demo which I will try out tomorrow morning, but was curious if anyone had any thoughts.

 
My gaming tastes consist of hoarding digital games, inadvertently buying games I forgot I already had multiple copies of, staring at my shelves then staring at my digital library, then watching other people play games or going and playing more of the same dumb, crappy game.

Majora's Mask, one of my favorites... of all time, way above OoT. So inmersive and dark. I'll stop right here with this.

Do you work on the backlog, i thought we just pile that up and brag about how our grandsons would get to play them. If not even the latest Pokemon remakes haven't convinced me to get a 3DS, you bet a Majora's port would. A man can dream.

Yup, Rose got quite a few buffs in the latest update. Louffy been playing for a long time now, Filipinoman who is another Rose main almost made top 8, fell on the last round placing 9th.

Sorry for the long post, but did this in between matches lol.

It's a fun first person shooter with a dark storyline and multiple weapons which definitely help in various situations. The background music can get repetitive but I think it changes to one theme per level. The actual filesize for the game is 2 GB.

Don't let the fact that this company also worked on [the decent] Deadfall Adventure scare you away. Painkiller is much better.

And lol @ the Peggle 2 announcement. Who says Microsoft doesn't listen to fans? I'm still not buying it though.

This question was probably answered already, but when do the weekly sales expire? I'm thinking of getting Ducktales and/or Pac Man Museum but I want to wait to see what the next list of sales will include first.

 
I thought it might have been Majora's Mask. I haven't finished a Zelda game since Link to the Past and I skipped over the N64 in favor of the PS1. I've played Ocarina of Time via Gamecube but haven't played anything since.

I'd rather get a Wii U over Xbox One and PS4 (though that might change when Batman: Arkham Knights comes out)  just so I can catch up on my Nintendo gaming.
