I am just now getting into fps and i gather that diablo is a dungeon crawler or something like this? Either way they are new experiences for me

sadly, no. i really wish it was though because that game deserves to be played and instead it just rots. i mean i guess it does have single player but not the same. was done by 4J who also did Minecraft and Perfect Dark ports, which are also done well.

If you like playing with friends, wait for Diablo. Wolfenstein was a little boring (bad pacing) and doesn't have great replay value. Good for a rental or a big sale.

They are really different games though. Up to whichever type of game you like better. Dungeon crawler or fps.

Saw a Far Cry Compilation for 360 at Target earlier this evening. It was released in the US back on the 1st, containing Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. MSRP is $29.99. According to a GameFAQs post, each game comes on a separate disc (PS3 apparently had a download code for Blood Dragon), though all 3 are stacked on top of each other in the game case. Like other XBLA on disc releases, Blood Dragon must be played off the disc.

Europe and Australia got a Far Cry : The Wild Expedition release back in February containing the above games plus the Far Cry Classic XBLA. Blood Dragon and Classic are apparently download codes.

Haven't seen any mention of the DLCs being included.

I can confirm that the Wild Expedition copy in Australia (likely Europe too) had download codes only for Far Cry Classic and Blood Dragon - and no there was no DLC in the set. It was basically a vanilla copy of Far Cry 2 and 3, though there might have been a code for that Lost Expedition DLC too for FC3 (I can't remember).

Thanks for all the input. Looks like ill be waiting for diablo as i am all digital and spending that much (both $ and hd space) on a game with little replay value is not what im interested in.
 
Don't tell me EA UFC just went on sale because I bought it like last week with the free Xbox money lol.  Anyway, the game was fun then it got frustrating then I had to watch videos for tips then I had more fun playing and when I unlocked Bruce Lee and Royce Gracie I stopped playing.  I wanted to create a female fighter and start a new career but I found out there is no female creation and career, the hell.  I plan on using Bruce Lee in every weight class through Career though.  Either that or make celebrity look-a-likes lol.  I skipped the previous UFC games so I'm not really sure what I'm missing but I'm good with this EA UFC game especially when I got it free.  Hopefully they add free content in the future though.  Oh I haven't played online yet, maybe I should.

Just searched, and I wonder if EA UFC feels like EA MMA, it sure do look the same.

Career sucks so hard!

 
I'm quite enjoying Battleblock so far. Requires enough thinking to be entertaining while still being simple enough that I can relax after working 11 hours.
 
Funny about these Doom sales as I just ordered Doom 3 BFG used earlier this week. Can anyone here confirm that Doom 1 and 2 are on the disc for 360? Not some sort of voucher for the digital games?

Also, can $2.50 of fun be had from the single player portion of the Quake game that is on sale? Online is likely too dead for me to bother but I might have fun playing with bots (I've never actually played a Quake game).

Don't watch Korra until after you finish the first series, if at all. It's a different show than The Last Airbender, and not in a good way (though I'll admit I've only seen the entirety of season 1).

I'm still irked they chose two more seasons of Korra over a The Search movie (instead of disappointing comic we ended up with), but maybe they finally turned it around.

Well it was more fun the first time around. It always felt good defeating opponents but I admit I click the guide button and restarted to keep my 36-0 winning streak until they forced me to retire my Pro career ha. Blocks and body shots all day. I didn't get my first submission until the end of my career though. Before I maxed out my fighter, switching game plans helped me win. Winning feels good especially early in your career and your opponents are much more stronger, faster and skilled. Overall it's a good start with EA but hope it will get better. They need to add free DLC though.

Korra is worth watching even if it's not as good as TLA (which I will say is a great series, but not the greatest thing ever like a lot of people make it out to be). I thought the second season was weaker than the first (although it does have an episode that tells the story of the first avatar which should be seen by anyone who is a fan of the original series). Watched the first couple episodes of the third season and it's not especially better or worse than the last two so far.

If you don't have an Xbone yet then wait. It doesn't go on sale all the time but the disc has been available for about the same and this is the second time that the digital has gone on sale in the last two months or so.

I didn't appreciate it when I first played it 7-8 years ago but after I ran through it again to clean up some achievements earlier this year I ended up realizing just how special that game was.

Infinite is still better though imo

Well I think its the only xbox one digital game that has gone on sale twice already

And like another poster has said if you watch the AWD thread, PvZ GW for one floats between $21-$25. I've bought it twice from them now. Both times came in great condition even though they were acceptable.
 
I hope the Xbox One sign in problems get fixed soon. Think I'm close to finishing Orchid play 200 matches achievements. I really want to finish season 1 achievements before 2.
OT
Made the mistake of starting Derek on Netflix just before bed last night. Ended up watching 10 episodes straight and waking up early to watch the rest. Not the comedy I was expecting. More about feels. Lots and lots of feels. Ricky Gervais writes, directs, and stars in the show.

Beta codes are out there now, you get one from pre ordering or, like me, nerdist or the dozens of sites having giveaways. It's kinda confusing but here's the breakdown:

The code you get from per ordering or as mentioned above is a code for bungies destiny beta site. After redeeming that code on that site you can select which platform you plan to play on. After witch when the beta arrives for said platform you get 3 total codes so you and two others can play together.
You have to get the first code to get the beta download codes.

To add to this
Destiny beta for playstation is this weekend. (Meaning the codes were distibuted yesterday after entering it on bungie site)
Destiny beta for M$ is next weekend. (Actual beta keys go out the 23rd for this beta)

Damn I didn't know it was that bad. I still want it, I'll just wait for $19.99 and under. That way I can beat and still get most of the money back when I'm done.

 
I haven't been around this thread for the last week or so, but everyone who's been waiting did buy that Banjo bundle right?  Both games for $15 is an awesome deal.
