  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

You mean how to add him or invite him? To add him you go to friends -> find someone (xb1) or to actually invite him to play you must get both in a party and invite party to game (once in one) and he has to go to join party game in the menus of pvz

Any tips on the easiest/cheapest way to transfer my 250 gb hard drive to a 500 gb drive on 360? I know they sell that $20 transfer cable but is there an off brand that works?
 
No list. It generally arrives at 10PM EST on Monday. And 2K refers to 2K Games, whose software is often featured in Xbox Live sales (along with Rockstar Games).

I don't buy from Amazon (or eBay, or anywhere online), but even if I did I couldn't even use the disc. The dvd drive is dead on my xbox (and ps3 too), so now I'm digital only. Thanks though ;-)

Ah ok, don't really follow publishers...I know Bungie made Halo, Bethesda is Fallout/Elder Scrolls, FF is Square, and Rockstar is GTA, other than that no clue who makes what ;-)

Doesn't matter. The only DLC that's a must have is Minerva's Den and if you bought the games on sales and that at full price, you'd be at $20. Or wait for a Minerva's den sale and save money on the overall package. You know it'll come back on sale eventually with BS1 and 2 being on sale this week.

How recent is "recently"? It's in their bylaws that you have to start the month as a gold member and continue to be gold throughout the month to earn rewards, err, for yet month. That could be your problem, or not.



Moving on, since I surprisingly didn't see it mentioned by anyone, Target.com is running a temporary 15% off discount on their digital $25 XBL currency cards, making them $21.25--the TargetRED card extra-5% discount stacks on top of that, too.

I picked up two of them for $40.xx (someone on SD mentioned there's a limit of 3). Is it a mind blowing discount? No, but they don't come around nearly as often as they did back when it was MS Points and with a REDcard this is only pennies more than the old "4000 MSP for $40" standard sale. You're welcome...?

I finally started playing Kingdoms of Amalur after buying it and the DLC when everything was on sale at the end of January.  Just wanted to say thanks to the CAGers that recommended this, I'm loving it so far.  I've already spent a bunch of time but I'm only level 5 and I've only seen this small corner of the huge world map, so it's looking like this will be epic in scope.  Playing a rogue/mage hybrid; I really like how the skills allow you to choose a class ("destiny") rather than the other way around.

Yeah that game is nothing if not huge. If you're not careful, you can get overwhelmed/burned out on sidequests before you even progress out of the first area. Super fun game though.

 
So I have 2 $5 coupons from the GS kongregate app and I'm looking to grab 2 cheap games for the backlog. These are what I found in the $9.99 and under range that I would like to get. What two should I grab? Not the best, I know but I have/had everything else. The rest don't interest me.

Out of the games that you listed, I've only played splatterhouse and I thought it was pretty fun.

 
If anyone watched Darkwing Duck it's the same guy who voiced him that voiced the mask in Splatterhouse. Kinda weird hearing constant profanity and vulgarity coming from Darkwing Duck lol.

I'll say Splatterhouse and Dynasty Warriors Gundam since I've never heard of the others. I believe Splatterhouse also comes with the original Genesis game.

Turns out my move was delayed another week (waiting on permits) so bring on this week's sales.

Disney will probably demand a crap ton of money from Capcom to re-license it. Money they probably won't be able to make back through sales of an older game. I doubt it.

I vote Splatterhouse. My expectations were low going in and it was surprisingly good for the $9 I paid for it years ago. The rest on that list aren't worth your time.

Lowering my expectations for date night which takes place in less than 7 hours. Ramen noodles FTW

Grab Splatterhouse for sure, but I would consider a game or two you don't have listed up there such as, Dante's Inferno or Wet.

But yes, 100% towards splatter house. And it also includes Splatterhouse 1,2,and 3. You have to unlock them, but progressing through the story mode unlocks those games.

If you are an achievement hunter, Dante's Inferno isn't too bad until you get to the DLC. One set takes about 10 minutes tops, and the trials in the other one are pretty frustrating.

There are also 'rumors' floating around that the servers will close, but I haven't seen anything really happen. I rushed through all the achievements just in case something happened to them, but didn't have a problem.

The worst part of the trials was the length of some and staying connected to your co-op partner. They all have criteria needed to be fulfilled before moving to the next wave/trial, and those got to be pretty annoying.

I liked the plot and enjoyed a more simple/video game-adapted version of the story.

Heard this about the DLC as well, so I absolutely skipped it when it was on sale. The game itself was fun. Took about 8 hours on normal and hard was easy. Blasted through it in half the time(4 hrs) since your upgrades carry over. Got my 1,000 and it looks pretty on my gamercard. Perfect gamefly rental

They definitely won't. It got pulled because the licensing ran out like the other Marvel games that have been pulled and none of them ever see the light of day again.

 
Just 1000/1000 Guacamelee on the One, that is such a great game. Favorite GWG so far. And you guys were right, PvZ Garden Warfare is tons of fun. Great price on that too.

Eh that track list isn't that bad. It's fine for a dance central game. OneRepublic is also a guilty pleasure of mine on occasion.

At least it's only $10 for those that actually want it.
 
I agree most of the track listing looks bad, but Cher was always a guilty pleasure. Didn't realize she changed her name though.

 
Did Upload Studio change for anybody else today? I don't have the preview update yet. I'm only seeing the option to Upload or Cancel. Upload and Save to OneDrive is missing (was there yesterday). I'm going to try uploading it anyways and hope it goes to OneDrive.
