  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

Anybody still playing Dark Souls

just curious if im the only one still struggling to beat this damn game already

Randomly thinking about all the old GwG deals and i enjoyed Hitman and Sleeping Dogs the most

Surprisingly put an insane amount of hours into Dead Rising 2

Saints row 3 wasnt bad either

 
Ha I forgot pulled the five bucks from my Destiny pre-order at GS to pay for something else a while back. No wonder I didn't get the code. I'm trying to figure out if I want anything from this week's sale, but I'm coming up short on stuff that really interests me and isn't sitting in my backlog. It's sad because most everything seems like a decent deal.

 
Okay, is anyone else having a problem getting notifications on this site. Mine have stopped for the last 2 weeks. It doesn't matter if I check from my laptop or my phone, no red indicators show up in the right hand corner like they used to.....

 
Is anybodies HBO Go via Xfinity working on their 360? Everytime I try to watch something I get server errors, but if I watch it on my Nexus 7 or whatever I get no problems.

So you were able to watch things on there with no problems? I Tried watching John Oliver and it can't load up the HBO pre intro thing before stuttering and failing like 1/4 the way in.

They stop working from time to time for me. Not all the time though.

Have you tried unfollow the topic and then re-follow it ? Something similar happened to me a couple of weeks ago and that did it for me.

 
Since this thread has become pretty Off Topic, I have a quick question: how do you organize/list the games you own?

Personally, I started an Excel sheet with the games separated into categories (XBLA/GoND), purchase order and size.

Makes it much easier to redownload a game and know the size of it without having to check on the site.
 
Is anybody else having issues downloading things from the marketplace? I'm trying to download injustice, and it stops at 50% saying it can't complete. Yet, ice downloaded all the free packs for it, and the season pass. What gives.?

We hardly get any problems using HBOGo. Only time we had problems was GoT premiere. Xfinity app don't even work for us so I'm not sure if it's because we have UVerse.
 
Hey just a quick heads up for the real cheap asses out there, you should take a look at your local library, I just checked out batman aa, msg v gz, bioshock infinite, and dark souls2. All booger free

Simply put: darksiders 2 is awesome; all its dlc is garbage and completely unnecessary to enjoy the core game, which is awesome like i said, a.w.e.s.o.m.e.

are you playing the GOD version of DS? the GOD version doesn't have patches or something... it's different somehow. i couldn't use the save from my disc driven game, i would guess that has split the player base. i am not a lawyer, so....

Red Faction Guerrilla was fcking awesome and i just finally bit on "the demon of the badlands" expansion, or whatever it's called. about 850MB, and almost a five star review (take that with a grain of salt)

Batman* is a capricorn, as am I. I think that's why I always loved and related to the character so much as a child and still do. I understand what it's like to live with the darkness, but strive for justice and good. I also don't believe in killing anyone no matter how much they may deserve it. I like cool gadgets too.

For anyone who's played Demon Souls/Dark Souls and is considering buying Dark Souls 2, I just finished watching this vid which seems to make enough good points as to why the game was a total soulless cash-in.

^ I had a blast with the game, even though can agree with most of the points he make in this video. The game also does plenty of things better than previous games.

I'm playing the Artorias dlc for first time. Maybe it wasn't the best idea to start it with the old save (on ng++). Some of the bosses kicked my ass left and right and now i'm stuck at Manus haha. But i appreciate the game for the challenge. Also it doesn't help the fact i'm not a big fan of grinding, so playing at around SL135. Some of my friends were already SL200 on ng+ lol. :)

btw Just upgraded my pc. Man, there is hardly any reason now to get back to consoles anymore lol.

 
Just finished Destiny beta 10 hours straight. The fun of Halo appears to be back for me. Couple hours trying to find secret areas in Tower and get outside the map (the secret is to use purple balls to get to higher places while distracting the other players elsewhere). Another few doing the the same on Earth. Couple more hours playing various games with the ball. The missions were ok, but the real fun comes from messing around.


EDIT: Anybody else having trouble with party chat on X1? We can't hear each other if either of us unsnaps party. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I think it might have to do with the new update preview

Soulless cash-in? Have you played the game? I'll watch the video later. I can't imagine 50 solid minutes of valid points that would draw me away from the positive feelings I have for this game.

Interestingly, it's rated "T for Teen" but has "Animated Blood, Crude Humor, Drug Reference, Language, Sexual Themes, Violence." It's not often sexual themes gets anything less than an "M for Mature" must be the board members aren't all Americans. ;P (Then again, I'm still looking out for the supposed "Partial Nudity" in STATE OF DECAY, too.)

I loved Destroy All Humans! when I played it years ago.  Then I bought the second one because I found it in a bargain bin.  However, to my disgust, it wasn't backwards compatible with 360.  I guess it was my fault for assuming that since the first game was backwards capitable, the second one would be as well.  Alas, it wasn't.  So I've had that game for years just sitting there mocking me.  Apparenlty, the games quickly went down hill in quaility after the second one ( atleast according to reviews) which is unfortunate.  I'd love to play the second one though.

Oh god, I'm having flashbacks to the "true ending" DLC boss fight from CASTLEVANIA: LoS....

After nearly two-hours playing that stage, I seriously think that last battle broke my physical ability to double-tap-&-hold the analog stick to dodge/dash. And I still ended up tossing my controller angrily [..into the plush! soft couch, of course] and walking away, defeated.
 
Guacamelee's final boss wasn't too bad, definitely becomes easy once you learn the tells. I'm currently working my way through the orbs (after doing them all on the vita the first time).

If you're having trouble with the boss fight I wouldn't recommend trying for the orbs. Granted the orbs are so hard on account of difficult platforming.
