Damit Joey what do we pay you for then??? Oh right.......... ;)
i have seen halo reach, alan wake and crysis 2 games on demand codes on ebay but where can you buy Resident Evil 4 XBOX Games on Demand Code.
I'm not sure where Crysis 2 codes come from, but Reach and Alan Wake codes have been bundled with consoles so there are a lot of them. The only Resident Evil 4 codes that I've seen are a handful here and there given out by Microsoft/Capcom for contests, and I haven't spotted any since shortly after release, or for reviewers so there aren't a lot just floating around.
Just curious how many XBLA games you guys own? I'll be at 176 after I buy 3 of the games this week. (131 on XBLA, 4 on Dreamcast Collection Disc, 3 on PvZ disc, 5 on one XBLA collection disc, 6 on another one, 3 on the Qubed disc, and 24 that I own on PS3 that are multi-platform)
I own the same compilation discs you do (Pack In, Xbox Live Unplugged Vol 1, Qubed, Dreamcast Collection, PvZ) but also BOTH PopCap collections (have to have every 360 game, remember?), Hasbro Family Game Night, Watchmen (own part 1 digitally), and the Trials/Splosion man combo pack. Some of those came out AFTER I already bought the games digitally or, like the 3 PopCap collections, have some overlap. I'll eventually pick up Bejeweled 3 as a disc based instead of Download but am waiting for that disc to be about $10 instead of $20.

Anyways, I just pulled up my Account History for Arcade Games only. I have 284 arcade games downloaded (first got the 360 Christmas 2006). Things like Destination Arcade (which had no actual games), Crimson Alliance (which I did buy the pack for), and Hasbro Family Game Night (which I own all digitally, plus the disc) are included in that list.

Checking the list for FULL GAMES, it ups to 293. Game Room (which I did buy games for and complete) is there but not Arcade. The other 8 include some indie games (6), Rock Band Store, and DeathSmiles 2X. I do not buy digital copies of games without achievements or re-releases from other systems that are missing those / have a disc based game (Games on Demand).

I'm not even going to get into Add-Ons since those include each song from Rock Band, free DLC, etc but that is apparently even crazier.

Yes, I am an analyst nerd. Sorry.

You should see my spreadsheet. It's got a stats sheet with percentages, totals, etc. I can tell you the average value of my XBLA games, how many of them were free, the percentage that I've completed, and so much more. Total porn for people who are into that kind of thing.

And since the question was asked, 142 XBLA and 6 GoD.

284 WOW! And I'm just as big of a nerd, trust me.

I really want to but together a few spreadsheets like that, but haven't found the time. I do have one with how much I paid for each game and a comprehensive WP Games one, but since XBLA has over 400+ games now, putting together a comprehensive spreadsheet for that is going to be a real time-sink.

Well, if you count the various disc comps with games I didn't download --- we're probably well into the 310s. (epp).

Combine that with the 86% completion ratio for disc based games (US only, some NA like Asterix and some region free included) and one can no longer wonder why we never seem to touch the Wii or use the PS3 as anything other than a movie machine.
i have seen on the trading thread people selling and wanting Resident Evil 4 XBOX Games on Demand Code.
how would somebody get this code?
are there any places where you can buy it eg ebay. i looked but nothing.
Stop spamming. But to answer your question, the codes are sent to reviewers, who may end up trading or selling them to other people. I used mine, being ethical.

When you ask twice, with only 2 posts in between.

Here's a little thread on CAG with a great deal for those of us who frequent the DOTW thread:

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=317481

In a nutshell:
Buy.com: 1 year of gold for $49.99 ($39.99 if you sign up with a new account)
PLUS: free codes to download these 5 XBLA games:
Snoopy Flying Ace
R-Type Dimensions
Lode Runner
The Maw
Aqua

Offer ends 3/21. The codes will be E-mailed on 3/22. (my Snoopy has been dibbed)

I'd like to get Lode Runner from somebody if they end up selling it. For some reason I just don't understand the CAG marketplace. How do I search XBLA games and find people selling downloadable game codes?

Snoopy is a really fun game, and last I checked the online was still pretty active (well, in dogfight - the other game modes, not so much). I get slaughtered in the online, though. LOL. Still fun. And if you can get into one of the other game modes, some of them are quite fun. We sometimes play private online matches between me and my kids on our two xboxes.

Glad to head I'm not the only one that tracks game stuff on a spreadsheet. I have two tabs. One that tracks purchases.....how much I paid, where I got it, what deal I got, how much I sold the dlc for, then when I traded it in or sold it, his much I got for it. That goes back to 2002.

The other tab is my personal rating tab. I use a 1 to 100 scale with 10 different rating elements each with a top score of 10. Its fun to putz with.

I've had Snoopy for awhile and started playing last night. I was hooked in about 5 mins, personally I like to flying games like Blazing Angels. IMO it is definitely worth the points Snoopy FTW.

Ended up buying Battle: LA since it was pretty cheesy and a bit rubbish but still quite fun (plus an easy 200 :D).

Decided against getting Zombie Apocalypse: NDA since it seemed too similar to the first game, but will pick it up in the future if it drops to less than 400 MSP.
I'm having a pretty good time with Leedmees so far for 400 points. Simple Lemmings/Kinect title.
It gets stupidly hard after a while. Going for golds is quite frustrating too. I got tired of Leedmees randomly flying off my body for no reason and dying from smashing into walls and ceilings. My Leedmees review.

Played the demo for Zombie Apocalypse: Never Die Alone, and I just can't get past the horrific voice acting. Even with the voices turned off, knowing that they're there has spoiled the whole experience for me. I'm going to give the first one another spin, but I've passed on it before. I'd actually rather wait for All Zombies Must Die! to go on sale to get at some twin-stick zombie killing.

X-men is about the only game I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy, but I'm hesitating in light of the fact that it's been only 200 msp in the past....What are the chances it will drop to that again?

The Hard Corps demo is good fun, but like someone else said it feels more like a 400 point buy...especially since I'd like a little leftover to get the Sayuri character.

After picking up Warhammer Space Marine for ten bucks via Gamefly, I decided to give Kill Team a try since it's part of this week's sale. I was pleasantly surprised, it's a good purchase at five bucks. Much better than either of those Zombie Apocalypse games IMO, the second one seemed fun enough but the character designs had me pulling my hair out. Especially the 1337-speak dude... ugh.

I don't think Xmen will drop below 400 again. It just happened to one of those random, once or twice a year, deep discounts. I'd say the likelihood of it going below 400 again is equal to the likelihood that any other 800 point game drops below 400.

Also, the writing in ZA:NDA is meant to be over the top, stereotypical, and silly/stupid. I understand if you still don't like it, but I don't think any of the writers for that game actually think that's how a gamer guy would act, how a black British rapper would act, etc.

Hard Corps is well worth at 600MSP. The thing that sucks is, Konami sells 3 of the characters as dlc's. :S

But anyway, good luck waiting until going on sale for 400MSP.

I'm late to the Mass Effect party, but better late than never. Any chance the DLC for 2 will be on sale again soon does anyone think? Kinda surprised it wasn't a DotW leading up to 3's release, but I guess it might have been on sale recently when I wasn't interested and didn't notice. My friend said that all the DLC for 2 is important for 3, but as a CAG I cringed at the thought of paying full price for them all before I start 3.

I heard Shadowbroker and Arrival are the only "essential" ones for ME3. Others have said that Microsoft usually doesn't put older games/DLC on sale leading up to the sequel's release so as not to take attention away from the new game.

Personally, I haven't bought either and haven't felt like I'm missing out on much. They explain(summarize) what happens in the DLC in ME3 anyway. If you don't want to spend the money but want more details about the story, you can always read the summaries of what happened online (or watch videos). I really kinda want the Shadowbroker DLC, but I can wait for a sale. If there's any DLC you probably should get though, it's the new "From Ashes" one for ME3. As lame and greedy as it is to have essential day-one DLC, it's kind of cool and important to have.

I did not enjoy Hard Corps at all. Definitely don't recommend it.

The levels are overlong, the load times are awful, and the character/enemy designs are lame.

I do think it will go on sale again, Xbox puts a lot of big name DLC on sale frequently. But as for how "soon" that will be, nobody knows.

Zombie Apocalypse reminds me of another game, hunter from last gen consoles. For $5 it's kinda hard to complain or pass up. The first game I enjoyed it was fun for $5 when I got it a few years back. So, I recently got Part 2 and a few things from the top of my head. Unless you have someone to play it with then go ahead otherwise id say stay clear of this. The online community is DEAD, The campaign seems to spike in difficult in times. I like the Leveling your character and mission objectives but playing every level 3 times Just so you can complete the objectives are a big pain. I find it hard to play more then a level or two at a time. It's so grinding Repetive with gameplay and voice acting (gamer & British rapper) that I find my self taking shots to loosen me up to this crap. I like both games but unless you have someone to play with and enjoy a cheap twin stick shooter then go right ahead.

X MEN is a must, for $5 it's fun and there is still a community out there. I find on average 3-5 games. it's simple and fun. you can have it beat with all 12 achievements in about 2 hours or so. good stuff

on a side note: why hasn't Iron brigad been on sale or either toy solider games ( I know the first has been on sale atleast once spring of 2011) I've been waiting on them $15 is a bit much, Especially I have read the second Toy Solider game can be beat in under 3 hours.

Wish we could answer questions like that, but apparently those questions should be directed to the portfolio manager of Xbox Live.

I'm probably gonna trade for TS:CW tonight with a guy on CAG, so I'm sure it will drop to 50% off on Tuesday, just to spite me.

I understand that the characters are meant to be over-the-top stereotypes, but when I play games I usually want the protagonists to be somewhat sympathetic or at least amusing. My brief experience with NDA was almost the opposite. In fact, if there ever was a real zombie apocalypse, I can't imagine four characters I'd want to see devoured faster.

It is commonly believed that Iron Brigade has not been on sale yet due to the lawsuit over the original name. Who knows when it'll be on sale, we can only hope sooner than later.

Toy Soldiers on the other hand, will probably go on sale at some point. I'm surprised it hasn't yet.
Hopefully the first toy soliders becomes a monthly drop and it becomes the price it should have always been 800. then i cant wait for a 400 price point
We are on the exact same wavelength.

Funny, I just got one of the DLC's for the original Toy Soldiers and played it last night. Reminded me how absolutely AMAZING and AWESOME that game is, and that it's one of the few games I would classify as being well worth 1200msp.

Same here. Both games really are fantastic in every way - especially part 2 since it has full campaign co-op. The production values and amount of content really justify the price as well as anything could.
Still haven't made up mind mind whether or not to pick up the Castlevania LOS DLC. Someone tell me what to do. :)
It's taken so long to go on sale and may never go on sale again. The game is awesome and deserves fan support. I say, buy it.

That is my exact thoughts. Might never get the chance again.

Based on all of your testimonials, I bit on X-men and have already played through it with my 5 year-old son. It is short, but with the variety of characters and the mere nature of that game type, I'm pretty sure I'll get my 400 msp out of it with multiple play-throughs.

I ran through the demo for Hard Corps again, and I think this time I will pick it up. Even if it drops below 600 (and at some point I believe it will), I'll have played it enough to not worry over those couple bucks I could have saved.

Both Zombie Apocalypse games are definitely out; ZA 1 was decent enough, but I feel like I pretty much played that already with the twin-stick zombie game included with CoD: Black Ops....I may snag Warhammer 40K: Kill Team though. :) Still need to play the demos for Burgertime and Puddle, but I'm doubtful they'll strike my fancy....I was actually looking forward to Battle: Los Angeles, but given how short it is I guess I'll pass.
