XBLA - Geometry Wars 2 - 800pts

I only got a chance to play one game so far but it was a lot more fun than the orginal which was just ridiculous amounts of fun heh :).
 
So this game is actually fun for more than 5 minutes unlike the first game (I'm in the club of 12 people that didn't buy it because Mutant Storm was better)?

May have to get it if that's the case. Someone post more about multilayer, especially over live.

that sucked. Bought it, played it for an hour or so and then I started to get that screen tear whatchmacallit that indicates that the graphics card is about to kick the bucket. At least I paid the extra money to get an extended warrenty at Wally World so I should be able to swap it out later tonight

not really foggy but the explosions are bigger and brighter so it gets in the way in seeing where you are going

I noticed that too, I thought it was my glasses that were foggy but then I noticed it was the game
 
I came close to beating sequence, but I died on level 19 I think with my last life. The smile achievement is going to be a pain in the ass.

Oh my god this game is awesome!!!!! I thought the original Geometry Wars was a great game but this is 6 times the awesome. Seriously, if you got any enjoyment out of the original, buy this game now! :bouncy:

vs mode in this is extremely entertaining
i like it better than co op since u each get ur own lives instead of everyone being tied to one and in my case my lil cousins suck so we ran out of lives quick :lol:
 
But hey, it is Geometry Wars -- and Geometry Wars is fun. Worth $10? Definitely. The best thing since sliced banana bread? Not so much.

Yea IGN wtf does that mean? I'm pretty sure I'll be getting this, loved the first but never really got far.
 
I ended up buying this because it is more fun than the first and I have been wanting a shooter.

It's a cool game, but it's definitely not the second coming of casual gaming and the orgasm a minute that some people act like.
 
Am I the only one who didn't have trouble with the Wax Off achievement? Get Wax On ASAP then focus on keeping yourself alive while trying to touch as many walls as you can. Now if they didn't put those little markers to show you how far you are it would be a completely different story...
 
wave is really hard to get...though i just got phobia and wax off

wow this game is amazing and much deeper then the first Geometry Wars Evolved, but this game gives me a huge headache but that wont stop me :)
 
damn this WAX OFF achievment is very challenging but fun as crap, 20th try for this achievment and still having a blast trying to get it

I got to 97%.

All I have left is Wax Off, the one for completing Sequence, and Smile. The others were all fairly simple.
 
as for rebound, only try to do that and after a few tries you should be able to get it. As for slalom, after a minute or two, the gates pop up real quick and after a few tries you should be able to get it.

I sadly had a hard time getting the Treaty cheesement. Shit was frustrating getting over the 24 zone hump.

Im trying the treaty ahievment right now, I got to 29 and them bastards got a turbo boost or sumthing and out ran me to the next loop

for slalom its for pacifism right?
 
King is really well done. It's a perfect balance between gathering geoms and blasting a path to the next safe zone. I like how the music is subdued when you aren't in a circle.
