Bought Bastion, already have ITSP (and highly recommend it for the price if you like Metroid-vania games) and debating about Bloodrayne... the reviews on it are all over the place.
 
man they are kicking off the sale with a bang. I bought pvz for 1200 MSP since I couldnt wait for a sale. Its a steal at 600. trying the demo for bastion then peggle. Is peggle worth $5.

Well, it's $5 on Steam till Jan 2, and will probably go cheaper as a Daily by the end of that, too.
 
I'd be all over PvZ and Peggle if I didn't have the disc version from back when Gamestop had it on sale for $12 new. Still sealed though. :lol:

Never played Peggle?? It's fantastic. Though honestly I would probably recommend on PC or iPhone (or whatever cell phone you may have) before the XBLA version. For me it just doesn't control as well. If you do buy it though be sure to snag the DLC too since it's also on sale.

Went ahead and snagged Renegade Ops, Bastion and ITSP. Couldn't resist.

600 is a fair price for ITSP, but it felt sort of like a rip off at 1200. It only takes about 3 hours tops to beat the game. Maybe another hour to get 100% completion, and then that's pretty much it. I don't really see any reason to ever go back and replay it. It's just too simple and linear as far as metroidvanias go and there isn't much of a story to go by. On all but a few secret areas, the game tells you exactly what you need to do to progress to the next area. Also, literally no in game music.
 
Bastion is definitely worth 600, I say ITSP is as well. Kinda wish I waited on both of them...

I bought Renegade Ops, debating Bloodrayne, maybe I'll get the demo again and try to get into it 1 more time.

PvZ is also well worth 600. Peggle sucks. Was hoping to see a Toy Soldiers: CW drop, but alas I guess I'm still waiting on that one.

EDIT: Oh, and Bubble Bobble NEO! Come on, Bubble Bobble NEO!!!
 
Awesome. I had 3 games on my list. Bastion, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, and Trenched. 2 out of the 3 on the first day? I'll take it.

Is 80 MSP the normal price for the Bastion DLC?
 
Got mostly everything else, but going to try out Renegade Ops and hopefully it's worth buying! 4 player online co-op? Count me in. Wonder if the LA Noire rock star pass is worth getting. Saw the vanilla copy of the launch title for $19.98 but think it's dropped in price so might have to get it now..

Defense Grid is such a great game. And I haven't had the chance to check out the DLC, but it's 400 also and incorporates GLaDOS from Portal and adds a ton of stuff, apparently.

Think it still is, but if you're interested in it you should look for the enuf's coupon thread or the specific LAN thread to see if it still is. $16 total is a great deal.
 
All these sales are really for tomorrow. I think someone at microsoft fucked up, or they were really in the giving mood and thought, "Hell why not" and put the sales quite a few hours early. They usually kick off the 12 day sales with a bang. Since we got this, I now wonder if they would do a sale for the remaining days leading up to new year. IMO this is sort of a liquidation. I really think the xbox 720 s coming sooner then later and microsoft is kinda trying to push sales slowly before the new console comes out, but thats m opinion and me thinking WAY too much into things.
 
Picked up Bastion and Radiant Silvergun. Wish I had more points for ITSP. If it's still on sale tomorrow night I'll grab it.
 
Is 400 for the defense grid glados update a sale price or is that normal? I haven't beat the vanilla version yet but won't pass it up on sale.
 
Please people, buy Bastion! It was worth it at full price and at 600 points its an absolute steal. Such a wonderful game in so many ways. Support this great Indie developer so they can get working on their next game!

Kind of off-topic, but I would be really surprised if they actually called it the "Xbox 720". Anyway, I think we've got at least a couple of years left still. The technology may be ready for a new system, but the market isn't. I stand by my original 10-year life cycle prediction from a few years ago. They're just now getting good market penetration with the 360!

That's the regular price. Still sounds like a good deal, though. I'll be picking it up sometime in the near future, I think. I'm trying to wait because I don't want to buy it at regular price and have it just sit there while I play other stuff, but I wouldn't feel bad buying it at 400 points, regardless.
