alright bro thanks for the reponse. I hate having to ask the same thing over and over again. Guess it just might be beyond G&E and hopefully NBA Jam?
NBA Jam would be awesome! I think it's wishful thinking, but hey, ya never know!

Ended up with Baconing, Outrun (finally caved), and both Classic and Core Pinball FX tables (already have Marvel on PSN).

In the Classic collection, Extreme seems like a piece of shit, but the other 3 tables are all kind of cool. Merited $1.66 per table, IMO.

Whoever thinks BG&E isn't worth that price really needs to lighten up. That was one of the best surprises when I had my first xbox and I love the crap out of the HD version.

It's so good I would gift it to my friends if XBOX LIVE allowed that.

It's funny you say that, I actually keep the trial of Classic on my HDD just so I can show people "the worst pinball table ever". You spend so much time trying to get to the top section, only to find out it's just one flipper that plops you right back down to the claustrophobic bottom section again. That table is worthy of a RageQuit episode.

Hmm kind of disappointed about the sale to be honest. I'm thinking about getting the Pinball FX2 tables and maybe Beyond Good and Evil but hopefully we'll learn more about the BF and CM sale soon.

Being disappointed before the full list goes up is silly. And that Beyond Good & Evil discount is pretty special, to boot.

Some of us like to invert the Y-axis without inverting the X-axis (actually, according to the stats, that's how professional gamers play).

Unplayable = not worth the price. Another fuck-up by Ubisoft. Or has that actually been fixed now? (It still hadn't been fixed last month)

Camera control isn't everything, Jim. It's a third-person action-adventure title, not a FPS. The camera controls definitely suck, but the game is so good that it's not hard to get past 'em.

 I wouldn't bother trying to reason with someone who cites "the stats" of professional gamers to discredit a game's value. A person like that seems too egotistical to listen to anyone else's opinion.

Been waiting for the Marvel pinball tables to go on sale so may pick that up and possibly that MK Kollection. Wonder what else is in store for the sales.

Also again reddjoey you do an awesome job especially around this time of year. It's crazy.

I got a PM asking me to do it. I was hoping to make it all year after I didn't split the thread in July. Thinking about it, if MS does big holiday sales like last year the thread count would have went insane.
Yea...sure looks like it and not even complete lists. Also a few more days til then with everyone saying what they'll buy and stuff. Then there's Christmas sales to come.

eastx, I've tried the trial, and I just can't get past it. Sadly, I've also read a fair few posts from people who bought it immediately without trying the trial, and have just given up trying to play it until it was patched. Looks like they're out 800 points and nothing they can do about it.
 I wouldn't bother trying to reason with someone who cites "the stats" of professional gamers to discredit a game's value. A person like that seems too egotistical to listen to anyone else's opinion.
Irony much?

It's not the only game I've ever come across without the ability to invert the Y-axis, but the others were PC games patched quickly, and whenever discussions came up about how "normal" people use "up = up anyway", the counter-argument always comes up about how the "professionals" use inverted. I was simply zipping to the end of an argument I've seen before, as I was expecting a retard to respond that I should be using up=up because "everybody" does (although who holds their pad vertically anyway? A flawed argument from the start).

I was citing the shiteness of Ubisoft and their inability to patch a game with a ridiculous but easily-fixed flaw. Do you think that it's a GOOD thing that Ubisoft can't include a simple invert-Y option? Of course, they're too busy setting up more ass-raping DRM schemes and alienating customers to bother with a little thing like that.

I wouldn't have minded double-dipping on this game, as it really was a classic, but I can always play the HD version I have from GOG.com, which I got years ago for about the same price as this sale price and (gasp) includes the miraculous feature of being able to invert the Y-axis.

I've never played Beyond good and Evil but it doesn't allow you to invert the Y axis and leave the X axis alone? WTF? I'm not sure if I can buy it then either. To me, games where i can't invert are virtually unplayable. You guys seem to think it's the best thing since sliced bread though so I might be tempted to give it a try even though I'm going to hate the controls.

What about Flotilla anyone know if it's good?

For those of you considering Mortal Kombat AK, read GB's review and perhaps watch the quick look: http://www.giantbomb.com/mortal-kombat-arcade-kollection/61-32744/.

I HIGHLY advise AGAINST buying it, even at $5. The online is TERRIBLE and the arcade mode was literally made to steal money from people (it's straight ported from the arcade versions). The ONLY reason to buy it is if you have someone to play it with locally. All of this is coming from someone who bought it day of release with great anticipation and was badly burned. I've 100%d it, achievement-wise and it was a major pain and complete unenjoyable.

Yeah, that's my only hang up with it. I played the demo, and sorta got used to the inverted X axis. At least enough to where I'm still definitely going to buy the game. So I'd try the demo if I were you

They never patched it?

Please have a sale on Costume Quest's Grubbins on Ice.

I can only wish that is one of the announced sale items. :)

I definitely excited about Beyond Good and Evil HD for 240.

I'm like 99% sure of this but I wanna make sure: if I purchase Outrun on Xbox.com will I be able to download it when I get my Xbox back next year?

I'm split on Outrun or Fancy Pants Adventures. I'll probably go Outrun just because of the delisting.

Correct, just don't sign onto any other xbox consoles either until then

Do you have or had a Xbox with Xbox Live gold ? Then yes, otherwise I don't know .

Yes, I did this last year. My Xbox was being refurbished and I bought a bunch of games through the web. I downloaded the, when my console got home but I also had to redownloaded everything else since that's how you finish the license transfer for content.

I'm doing it again now since I sold my Xbox and will buy a new one Friday.

I wasn't gold last year and am not now either.

I wouldn't count on Grubbins on Ice. I actually played through it last week and enjoyed it quite a bit. If you're wanting more Costume Quest, I think 400 msp is worth it
So are the Marvel Tables really not on sale?
They definitely are. I bought them last night. (sidenote: I don't like the Blade comic, but the table is so awesome)

Ah I have to search for them.

They weren't showing up on the new dashboard ;)

So are the 4 tables worth 5.00?

If you enjoy pinball, I'd say they are. They're not so amazing that a previous dislike of the game will be blown away, but they are very well done.

When it doubt, hit xbox.com. They're on there on page one of the fan appreciation sale page (linked in the OP as well).

I probably will go for warhammer kill team on friday (unsure about full house poker) and bg&e on monday....plus anything else they did not announce.

Only wish I have is knowing the release date of Trials Evolutions!!! I hope it is coming soon..since on their home page, it still says 2011.
What awful Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales...

The only good thing is Poker, and I have that already.
Like everyone else said : those are not all the deals ! :hot:
Only wish I have is knowing the release date of Trials Evolutions!!! I hope it is coming soon..since on their home page, it still says 2011.
delayed to 2012, sorry buddy :(
Please have a sale on Costume Quest's Grubbins on Ice.
Chance of happening: 0.01%.

Is the content worth the 400 pts ($5)? I bought it a couple of days ago, and beat it, and my overall opinion is...no. It's more of the same and takes about 1-2 hours to beat. Sure, I had fun with it, but 240pts ($3) would be the right price point for the content.
Any buzz on sales for bastion, guardian heroes, or radiant silvergun?
Bastion probably at year end. The other 2 I wouldn't expect a sale til 2012.
I wouldn't count on Grubbins on Ice. I actually played through it last week and enjoyed it quite a bit. If you're wanting more Costume Quest, I think 400 msp is worth it
It's probably not likely, but I can only hope. :)

Anyway, I'll probably just wait 'til the end of this year to see if it goes on sale.

Some people were guessing that it might be on sale during the winter. Maybe they'll have some winter holiday sale for it.

Beyond Good and Evil HD was on my wish list and now that will be on sale. I hope the unannounced games for Black Friday and Cyber Monday are good prices. Last year we had a few games for 160 MSP. I would love to see those prices or better. Oh and hopefully they are games that I don't already own.
Ed Boon tweeted that MKAK patch should go live 6th December.
https://twitter.com/#!/noobde/status/139098750462328832

I've also read it elsewhere, but they might also have based it on this tweet.
3+ months to fix a problem that should have shown up in testing? (It came out 8/30/11 and we're heading into December now.) I still don't recommend it, even at $5, but to each their own I suppose. I really really wanted to like it, too.

Guys, I need some new pinball friends. Anyone who wants to add me feel free. Gt - kismayaz

Great sales so far. Def. Picking up bg&e
