The reporting name thing to get a name change totally works.

Full House Poker is a super fun game if you have friends who enjoy poker, and dressing up their avatars.

MvC2 here I come (again).
I'll pass on that... I'd rather pay for it than have any negative marks against my account for anything.
dont worry, nothing bad happens, so long as you dont plan on hacking anyone anytime soon. my friend had us give him feedback so he could change his tag as well, and that was near a year ago with no hitches since.

Would like to warn any fighting game novices to think really hard about MvC2. It is probably the least noob friendly fighting game I've ever played.

that it is, but its a classic. I happily bought this for 1200 MSP the day it came out. I loved this game to death. Whenever I went to an arcade i would look for this and Virtual Fighter.
Thanks guys, but really I'd rather not do the "get reported for free gamertag change" thing. I have no issues in paying for it and I'm in zero hurry, I've just been waiting on it.

I managed to find this page about 3 weeks ago, and it hasn't changed at all. If I go to the gamertag change thing though on the console dashboard, it still shows up as 800 points.

That was an old DotW.

8/2 - Deal of the Week
I'm 80 points short on MvC2, can anyone point me to a way to get 80 points quick? I don't want to have to buy 400 more
bing or find someone to trade with on the forum.

How do you get bing points? Sorry new to this, plus I've got Alan Wake and BF3 DLC if anyone wants to trade PM me
Just get your friends to report your name as offensive, they'll ban your name, and then you can do it for free... At least, that's what I've heard.
haha
But what if his name is something like DaisyFlower?

You install the Bing toolbar and the give you points for doing searches and other things that can be traded for MSP.

Here's my referal link
http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9778718&rrid=9A62610B-1BB7-47EC-80FE-607C63505589
:cold:
Full disclosure, I get 25 points for the referral.

It's not the fastest way to get those points though. Dance Central 2 has a code for 240 packed in with it. Made someone will trade it since it's $15 at Walmart on BF

damn I was going to refer him to me since I brough it up, but fuck it too late.
interesting..I googled up 2011 xbox live arcade house party, and 3 games mentioned in this black friday/cyber monday are on sale...

Full House Party
BG&E
Bejeweled Blitz

And two games are not on sale...Torchlight and Hard Corps. Safe to guess those two are next?
So is this all that on sale for Black Friday? I checked every game I need to rebuy (lost my old account to corruption), and all of them are full price.

Lost your account to corruption? I thought you can always just "Recover Gamertag" on your console? I can't imagine your entire windows live account on Microsoft's side being corrupt, that's where the info is kept as far as I know.

I still play Full House and theres no real shortage of games. The problem more is most people aren't very good lol But it is a fun game, if youre into hold em.
Anyone know if the full house poker community is going strong or is this a waste of money?
If you want to play, add me. My gamer tag is the same as my CAG username

Throw your link up. I'm really not that into it. I forget to do the searches for days

LOL I forgot on Halloween, and then spent all day at my moms today and I'm too lazy to do it now. Something food-coma-like overtaking me. Looks like I'm taking the shortcut route at some point. Just sign out of Live and adjust your date to whatever holiday you need. Saves waiting for this/risking missing it month after month.
I did everything I could without referrals and I'm still at only 76, ugh.
do what I did -- copy and paste your bing referral number -- clear cache-- create new accounts -- link yourself back to your own account
Hoping for a deal on Castle Crashers, as I am one of the few people on XBL without it.
yeah, me too. a deal on that would be sweet

Major Nelson just said he has a "bunch of Black Friday deals I'll be posting, but they won't be until tomorrow." ....looks like we won't get that list from him anytime soon

He didn't specify if it was marketplace content though, it could just simply be various deals for 360 related products at different retailers/websites.

He often tweets various deals available at amazon.

And just like that, Major Nelson mentions that he's going to be posting a list of items on the Marketplace that are on sale...

I think he tweeted this after you posted, but just so people are informed.

I though about that. I'm too tired tonight, but I'll definitely do that in the morning. Plus I've got some friends who I'm sure will sign up with my link to help me out.

That how I lost the account. I tried recovering while the internet was acting up from a system update. Lost that account ever since. Microsoft is working on it...but that was a month ago. And I lost this account back in September.

Yikes, you would think they would have good backups in place for things like that... I wonder if its possible in any way to backup profiles ourselves. Sorry to hear about your account, that really sucks and I hope you get it fixed.
Why has Stacking been on sale like a thousand times but Trenched hasn't? Argh!
Because it's about to be relaunched as Iron Brigade after some legal issues
Sales are LIVE for Warhammer & MVC2.... I just picked them up.
Sweet, just picked up MVC2
Meat Boy
MVC2
Beyond Good & Evil
Maybe Risk

Great sales. Been waiting for BG&E sale for years
It only came out this year. That and it's not too hard to find a copy for under $10 on past gen consoles...

For those just picking up MvC2, feel free to add me for games if you like. It's my fave game of all time :)
Until the next DotW starts on the 29th
Thanks! Guess i'll stall until monday then, not like they will sell out :D
Hows Sega Rally? From the one video I saw it seemed like Stuntman a little bit with how it was calling out instruction.
Got it on the PSN when it was on sale couple months ago (wished I got it for the 360 since the graphics is much crisper).

The game itself though is really tough, it's really really hard, and it teases you to try the level you failed again thinking the next one will be conquerable, but it's not (and I've played Shift 2 and this game makes Shift 2 look like PS1's Ridge Racer).
