That's what I'm figuring too, but figured it's definitely something to put out there just in case it's not fake. Not sure why a German site would have the details though and Kotaku or another site wouldn't have it. None of it interests me either, except the Gears 3 season pass for the right price, but I'd guess 33% if they really did discount it.

I just don't want the last two days to be fake. I want a chance at Gears 3 DLC and Black Ops DLC.

I'd be OK with that "leaked" list, I've been thinking about getting Fruit Ninja and the Gears of War 3 DLC as it is. Heck, I might even buy a Forza 4 DLC pack. I don't think the sales are great but I'm not exactly sure what people are expecting...

Less DLC, more standalone games for me. Most of that "leaked list" is DLC. Not into Street Fighter, and no Kinect so not much there. I guess I'd try Sonic for the right price. They should have kept Bastion for late into the sale though. The list also lacks the January days.
please be fake
I'm with you on that. I won't be getting anything if that list is real.

However, is it possible that since this list was on a German site that perhaps these deals might be different for us in the US? Or will these deals be for all regions?

In for the two Fallout NV DLC that haven't been on sale before. Now I just really need to buck up and start playing the game before the complete edition comes out......
Saw this list on a German site ....
Thanks. I'll stick a link to your post in the OP and mark it as rumors.

Well, today's deal on there shows Fallout content (aka DLC) but it's possible he created the list after it was leaked, put that as today's deal, and skipped tomorrow to buy the site 24 hours of traffic. I'd definitely take it with the smallest grain of salt, to say the least.

It's probably not real, but I wish it was. Then I can commit my points to Bloodrayne. (Anyone on the fence about it should try the demo - it's a challenging game.)

I got it but I can't really say anything good about it besides the art.

While the animation flows so well it feels like I'm playing in a cartoon the gameplay is more or less garbage and the achievements are out of the realm of people who haven't played the game 10 times over.

I actually just beat Bloodrayne today. I got it on release day and all I can say is that it's frustratingly hard at certain points. I'm someone who always plays games on easy just so I can enjoy the journey so Bloodrayne was very challenging. I beat Super Meat Boy but Bloodrayne does not have the tight controls Super Meat Boy had so sometimes it feels like it's Bloodrayne's fault that you are losing and not your own fault.

I'm always sort of just lurking and don't post much but thanks for doing such a great job redjoey, and I'm digging the site Spylon.

Really? I played the demo - it goes up to the first boss, does it get worse? - and the game's tempo was so smooth that it felt like I had ESP. Like as soon as vampire grunts appear, you mash them with melee attacks, send one flying towards the other end of the screen because there's one about to shoot you, then clean up a third and suck his blood. Keep walking and as soon as you see those exploding thingies, bam, one shot from your gun takes them out, because they do a lot of damage when they self-destruct. Keep walking and you have to backflip onto a ledge to take out some lampposts. It was like a Sonic game where you never get hit.

I don't know if Outrun is still the talk of the thread but I do want to say that Outrun isn't really a racing game in the traditional sense. It's a game that's all about drifting through each turn expertly, threading the needles. It's compelling and deep but in an accessible, fun, arcadey way. You don't have to be great at it to enjoy it. I think it helps to get into the mindset of the game to realize that the principal reason you would choose manual transmission in Outrun is because an immediate downshift/upshift toggle will send you into a drift without costing you the speed of tapping the brakes. The game expects you to think in those terms, maximum controlled drift, maximum MPH.

Really though, for all that, I can't make a compelling thesis as to why it's fun but I love it.

And, still, Outrun 2006 is the SUPERIOR product in every way to the XBLA offering in terms of content. It's been pulled already but OOA is not a bad dose of Outrun if it's your only. You aren't deprived if you ONLY have OOA.

I snagged myself the 2 Kinect games (love the Kinect with my family), and grabbed the last two FO:NV DLC's. I still need to go back to that one at some point.

You know what? I just realized that you guys were probably playing Bloodrayne with a standard 360 controller. I was using my Street Fighter pad - it's smaller and fits into your hands better, and the d-pad is worlds apart from the shit-pad on a 360 controller. Now I'm really excited to get the game. How long is it?

There's only fifteen chapters and it took me around four hours to finish it. The game does have some collectibles to improve your character and it has a ranking system that I have yet to get anything above an F in. So there is some replay value, but I never felt compelled to try to get a better score since that would involve trying not to get damaged and speeding through everything with no mistakes.

By the way, I played it on the PS3 and still found the controls troublesome. I was happy when I finished the game and didn't have to play it anymore, but I really enjoyed the soundtrack, so I've got mixed feelings on it.

I got Bloodrayne @ launch so at 600 msp I'd recommend it. No one has mentioned that the game comes with some gamerpics which are sweet and look cool. The only bad thing I can say is the difficulty challenge but it'll take some time and patience.

Wow every time I have posted in here wishing for a sale on New Vegas DLC, it happens in the next few days.

Whoo! Now I have all 4 of the DLCs for 20 bucks. This is why I love this site.
It appears the only items on sale tonight are Fallout DLCs.
it's ok for me. Just Got a cheap new vegas copy, now it's time to buy the dlc's (already have Dead Money tho.). Will cost me much cheaper than that Ultimate Edition that come out next year. :bouncy:

Wow, what a crappy list. Ok, gears Season Pass is nice for a lot of people, also i know will buy CoD Classic in 31st, but the rest? Do we really need RdR day? All of the content was on sale more than 4 times already. -_-

really disappointed with lack of Iron Brigade, Dungeon Defenders, latest Toy Soldiers game, Crimson Alliance and so on.

Totally agree with you. Hopefully there's more than that.

I've actually kept my Dragon Age 2 game just to download the DLC - $10 was overpriced, considering how short it was. But I'm somehow stupid enough to consider $5 per DA2 DLC pack a steal.
Fallout NV DLC question: Do any of the DLC packs raise the level cap like Broken Steel did for Fallout 3?
from Fallout wikia:

Each add-on increases the level cap by 5, which in total will increase the maximum level to 50. However, the trait Logan's Loophole, which was added when Old World Blues was released, allows you to limit the cap to level 30 in exchange for a much enhanced ability to use chems.
:)
Now if only they would put Code: Veronica X on sale I'd be really happy.
Yep, both Resi's were a must for this sale. Much better would have been a Resi day, rather than Rdr or Forza... So yeah, glad i bought RE4 when have a lot of MSP last month. I can't see this one going on sell soon. :/

Bought the last 2 New Vegas DLC I was missing. Been waiting for these to be on sale...and my NV experience is now complete.

I bought RE4 when it was released on XBLA and haven't played it yet and was hoping to get Code: Veronica X on sale. I can wait but not sure how much longer.
Twin Blades is a fun little game. It's a hack'n'slash side-scroller. If you have a Windows phone you can get the game for $3 and it has achievements. (Though the controls aren't as great as the Xbox version.) Personally, I'm hoping more Xbox Indies make the jump to the Windows phone.

EDIT: How did you find these, by the way? Just randomly looking?
Yeah, I just kinda stumbled across 'em, to be honest. I have an extra 80 MSP to spend, and I doubt anything during the holiday sales will drop down to that, so I figured I'd spend it on an Indie Game.

I was actually clicking into some of the more "high-profile" Indies and immediately noticed Soulcaster I & II's price cut, so for some reason I hopped over to Twin Blades (probably because it's one of the few Indies that actually has been on sale before).
Saw this list on a German site (http://www.looki.de/xbox_live_marktplatz_xbox_deals_wann_kommen_welche_angeboteae_update_n89977.html) that claims to have a roadmap to the deals upcoming, including today's Fallout deals, but it's possible the article was written after Fallout was discovered. Nothing listed for tomorrow, so it sounds slightly shady, but a good read nonetheless.

12/22/2011: Fallout contents
24.12.2011: Street Fighter 3 Third Strike Online Edition
25/12/2011: Fruit Ninja Kinect
12/26/2011: Forza Motorsport 4 content (including Season Pass, avatar items)
12/27/2011: Reach Halo content (including Gond, packs, avatar items, etc.)
28/12/2011: Sonic contents

30/12/2011: Gears of War 3 content (including Season Pass Add-ons and avatar items)
31.12.2011: Call of Duty contents

It also seems odd to have a sale on the Gears 3 season pass, and "only" Fruit Ninja on Christmas. Take it with a grain of salt and re-evaluate it on the 24th when that deal is announced. Figured it's something though. Don't shoot the messenger if it's fake.
Please, please, please let this be fake... Well, not all of it. I'd be super-stoked if Street Fighter 3 Third Strike Online turned out to be true. Absolutely LOVE that game (plus, I don't feel like dusting off the PS2 to play it, lol).

Everything else, aside from the Sonic Contents Day is really meh. I doubt Sonic CD will be in there since it just came out recently, but I can hope, right? Plus, maybe Ulala will squeeze in there with some Space Channel 5 action :D

But seriously, the lack of Iron Brigade, Crimson Alliance, Toy Soldiers: Cold War, Half-Minute Hero, Guardian Heroes, and Orcs Must Die is astounding. They started off with a bang with Bastion, but if the list turns out to be true, this year's holiday sale will have been a colossal letdown.
Agreed. Fallout 3 is one of my all time favorites. Definitely get Broken Steel and Point Lookout. The Pitt is decent, and IMHO zeta and anchorage arent worth the time.
I'll agree that Operation Anchorage and Mothership Zeta are the bottom two of the DLC but the weapons that you get from them are pretty awesome (especially if you do the DLC early in your playthrough). I ended up using the Gauss Rifle (OA) as my main weapon and the Alien Disintegrator (MZ) came in handy against the Deathclaws.

Gauss Rifle FTW.

Picked up Lonesome Road and Old World Blues for half price (already owned the other DLC... for half price too). Time to boot up some New Vegas soon! :)

Now if they include the Halo: CEA Anniversary Maps on the 27th, then my wishlist is complete (I have low standards apparently) :)

Fallout 3 is one of my favorite games of all time, with DLC I finished the game in ~150 hours and (practically) enjoyed every minute of it.

I found all the DLC for the game to be enjoyable, one thing I found that I hadn't heard about before was that one of the captives on Mothership Zeta has a repair skill of 100%, so she can FULLY repair anything you give her (for a price, of course). lol so even if you manage to put a dent in the power armor you get during Operation: Anchorage (it has a crazy amount of DR) you can have her repair it to full. So, if you feel up to it, I would take on the Operation: Anchorage and Mothership Zeta DLCs as soon as I could (and had the caps to pay for lots of repairs, obviously).

You will have to forgive me if I have a few details wrong, it's been a few months since I finished it. Anyway, I say get all the DLC if you are interested, they were all fun IMO. Hell the
Giddyup Buttercup testing lab scene on Mothership Zeta
makes that DLC worth the price of admission. :D

As for me, still debating on getting the NV DLC or waiting until next year and getting the Ultimate Edition for the inevitable half off.

If that list turns out true, half of me will be very disappointed, and the other half relieved (since I've already spent too much on MSP this month).

Ughh. If that list is real it's like an amazon video game gold box day. Most of that stuff has already been on sale and some of them multiple times. Last year's end of the year sale was so good too.

I'd be ok with that list, definitely the big one to get would be gears pass and I would get street fighter, maybe some forza dlc but last years was better if that list is true

I'll bite on SF 3 Online, and I sincerely hope that list is really not true. If it is posted on german site, is it possible the list is for that region only?!?

Really tempted to pick up the NV DLC. But I'm still plodding through the main game and with Skyrim coming to my house today, this will sit for a while. Think I'll hold off till the next sale.

Hope the list is true though, would love to see Reach maps on sale again (missed them the last time they were).
No Dragon Age :( I knew I should have bought them last year, and when will Mass Effect 1 DLC ever be on sales Grrr!
Mass effect dlc was on sale last year right? Probably won't be again. You Wally don't need it though and if you want it, you should only buy the asteroid mission. That one is good, the other is just horde mode.

really disappointed with lack of Iron Brigade, Dungeon Defenders, latest Toy Soldiers game, Crimson Alliance and so on.
If you don't mind me asking, where did you get that cheap copy of New Vegas? Because I'm doing the math and it looks like to take advantage of this would be cheaper than buying the Ultimate Edition later.

Keep in mind, before doing our best Darth Vader "No!" scream, that the last few years different regions have had different sales when it comes to the New Years countdown. So it is entirely possible that someone representing Micrsoft in Germany leaked the info in Germany, which explains why a German site has the list, but that list may not be accurate for North America and the rest of Europe.
After sleeping on it, you know how I know that list is fake. No free 2012 Avatar Glasses.
Also, the only reference they're claiming is Major Nelson and we know he hasn't given out any info.
