This should make your day: Major tweeted earlier today that Guardian Heroes is coming this week to XBLA! Swish!
HELLZ.

YES.

Seriously, this is an awesome surprise. Totally getting this, plus I'll try out the demo for Rock of Ages.

trying to decide on which one to get, Ascension premium theme or the other black ops one

edit: nevermind, seems the Black Ops zombie one (not ascension one), isn't actually on sale...
Bad news, folks. Guardian Heroes is not coming out tomorrow. Major Nelson's announcement was a mistake. No further details are available.

tweet
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.......

Well, that sucks. Least the release date for Radiant Silvergun was confirmed. Only 2 more weeks for that.

Sigh, this was just a ploy Microsoft had to get people to rush out to get points cards.

(fucking worked on me)

Lol...at least you got points waiting!!
anyone know if those premium black ops zombie themes are included in any of the black ops map packs? cus i know moon comes with one?
Where is the moon one? I couldn't find it. Is it in your list of themes when you scroll through them?

and yes, I have Rezerrection.

Edit: nevermind, I just Googled it. Thanks.

I couldn't find the "moon" theme either, Rezerrection is awesome regardless. I'm sure not paying for a theme, I think I'll just stick with my Battlefield BC2 one.

I think I'm going to buy the Mortal Kombat Kollection, it's still coming out today for 800 pts I hope.

Edit:downloading MKK now, awesome!

How does MKK compare to the new game, aside from being cheaper and a download? Just wondering if the old games are better. Especially want to know which is better for solo play, because I won't be playing with my kids, and probably won't play online either (will just get my ass kicked, which will only give me about 10 minutes of "fun", tops)

I downloaded the demo but haven't had time to play it yet. I'm worried it hasn't aged well. The screen shots looked atrocious.

For solo play, get MK9. Absolutely. It has a long stellar story mode, a challenge tower, and tons of unlockables. MK9 also retells the story of the original 3. The original 3 games sorta suck single player. The AI is dumb and cheap and it cheats. I used to play them all in the arcades and the way to beat the computer was to use tricks.

in the mexican marketplace GUADIAN HEROES is available for 800 msp, don't know if it's an error, but i'm already dl.

be careful buying things from the mexican marketplace, some of that stuff is cheaply made.

How do you access that?

???, how's cheaply?, this is a official published game, don't say dumb thing. And u need a mexican account and of course microsoft points, or u can dl the demo, i have msp, 'cause i travel a lot 2 mexico.
EBAY? = ~$6 shipped
I saw the sale on xbox live and wanted to replay the game. Found it on goozex for 100 points, it's already been shipped my way.

FYI, the Mortal Kombat Kollection is a laggy slow-mo mess online. I've only played 3 matches but every single one of them were disgustingly slow. I'm fairly positive there is some input delay on MK1, too; moves as simple as an uppercut can't be executed because despite holding down, it doesn't register as down immediately. I haven't tried MK2 yet, so I don't know what problems, if any, that one has. I hope NRS patches this soon cause it really ruins the fun online.

Sorry about not getting the OP updated yesterday. Had some things to take care of and ended up getting home really late.

8/28- ???? - All the Bad Parts Introductory Sale OPEN TO ALL

Indie Game:
All The Bad Parts - 80 Microsoft Points

A CAG/Devloper sent me a PM saying that they will be raising the price of this in a few weeks and asked me to put that info up here. In the interest of honesty here is the PM with a bit of info about the game.

Quote:
Hey Joe,
We just released All the Bad Parts for Xbox Live, and we are having an introductory sale to kick things off

http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Pr...5-d80258550946

We will be at 80 points for the first few weeks of release, then we are going to send a request up to Microsoft to raise the price.

Is it at all possible to get this added to the current Xbox Sale Thread?

Also, in case you want to check it out first, here is a code for the game.
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXXX

Screens:
http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/acti...ml?sid=6331065
http://wellbredrhino.com/atbp_screens/

Short description:
All the Bad Parts is a classic brawler that tells the story of one man’s life, the choices he faces, the decisions he makes, and the bug-faced creatures he uppercuts. The game features hand-to-hand combat, weapons, a shifting plot line, and multiple endings. It was a semi-finalist in the Indie Game Summer Uprising.

I will finish the CoD list tonight when I get done with my family stuff.

None of those links work, please fix it. Who is this cag member/developer stating the price hike and what's the reason behind it? If someone on cag made a game i'd support them. I've done it with apps/games on my iPhone and wouldn't mind doing it on xbox 360 as well :bouncy:

Hey intoxicated,

Sorry about the link, the game can be found at

http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/All-the-Bad-Parts/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d80258550946

MS's servers have been a bit funky today, so if it starts acting weird, it might need a refresh.

And the screens are

Right now I am hoping to bump the price once the game builds a little momentum. The hardest part of Xbox Indies is getting the name out there, so if a temp price drop helps, I am all about it.

Plus, since this game turned into such a labor of love, at this point I just want to get it into as many hands as possible! Once that feeling fades, we will realize we need to make up for all the years of development. :)

Thanks for posting and the PM. All the links I have seem to work. I am about to double check the OP and update the CoD stuff.

Something you also might want to add when you update. Burnout CRASH! is dated for the 21st of September on XBLA, and Giant Bomb now has quick looks of both it and Rock of Ages.

As always, great job on the thread. :)

You really can't compare the two, the MK Kollection is pure nostalgia, if you grew up playing MK it's an instant purchase. I have not had any lag issues like someone said, MK1 plays just like it did in 92. I like that you can customize the buttons because I use arcade stick to play and to add to the nostalgia you can change the display settings to cabinet mode which is cool. The only thing I don't like so far is you can't turn the timer off in the game to practice moves.

Mortal Kombat 9 is awesome, I would get it over this if you have the money, the story mode is probably the best I've seen for a fighting game. You will like it for sure and yeah don't play it in front of the kids it's pretty hardcore.

So tempted to get the Mortal Kombat Kollection. I have some 3,000 points to burn, but after hearing that the online play was a lagfest, I'm torn.

Wow, the COD deals aren't half bad. To be sure, I don't own Black Ops, but now I have to decide if I want to pick up the MW2 map packs two months before MW3 comes out.

man i downloaded the demo. I wrote on my first post. I just wanted to see if other people that bought it feel that it's worth the ten dollars or should you wait until it's five or below.

my bad...i take it you didn't like the demo? this game looks like the fun is in the multiplayer action.

no it was good. Some here went as far as to compare very close with the classic simpson's game. I wouldn't go that far. I mean i'll pick it up this week, but seeing how South Park went on sale for about 20 times i don't know if i should wait.

XBL Rewards for September is up:

Guess i'll purchase all the dlc & games I had been holding off onto afterall..

The rewards get lamer every month it seems. I'd make a joke about next month's rewards, but I'm afraid that it may give MS some ideas.

According to the guys in the CAGCast, it did not fare very well at all.
