Sam Goody and FYE both have Xbox 360 20GB consoles for $149 after a $100 mail in rebate. I called the FYE at the Burlington Mall just North of Boston and they have 10 left at that price, and they confirmed the mail in rebate.

Cash register receipt must be dated 10/15/08-11/04/08

Mail in rebate must be postmarked by 12/04/08

Rebate form also states that any Rebate more than $19.99 will be provided in the form of a Visa prepaid card. So I'll get a $100 Visa card rather than a check, which doesn't make any difference to me.

Thanks to ViperBlue at SD :) I'm not sure if it's the Pro or Premium model, but he confirmed it had HDMI.

i just bought my 20gb pro yesterday. A lot of fye didnt seem to have the deal, but found one outside SF (im from SF) which was selling them.

Finally.. both the consoles :)

I hate FYE, I tried here in IL was denied. Oh well I boughtr a new acrade model with Sega Super star tennis and 5 arcade games for $175 at Target at least I got a Falcon. With the dash board change I can get a 20 gig for $20 almost as good a deal without the FYE hassles and rabate crap.

Just called my local FYE and they no longer carry video games :(. too bad, i was definitely interested in this deal. I don't think I have any Sam Goody's around anymore either.

edit: this is the FYE in the Lakes Mall in Muskegon, MI btw.

edit2: Called the FYE in Grand Rapids, MI and they are sold out of the 20GB 360. They did have the 60gb and 120gb in stock, but the rebates aren't nearly as good on those.

Where in IL? I was able to get this deal at the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg...the guy who I bought it from was giving me a hassle about having to buy a game with it because of the rebate....so I did...then went back and returned it yesterday lol

It is wierd how they require you to buy accessories or games, because when I bought it they said "we don't make money on the console, so perhaps you can buy a game or conroller", but it was not required. I felt bad, looked around and didn't find anything, besides I would have the $10 coupons for later. Then they tried to sell me the warranty for 30 bucks. I figured with a Falcon and hard drive installs, the likelihood of getting problems is small.....

Thanks OP, and good timing because I got the week off and nothing to do. And I bought 10 games already :). Anyone have any ideas besides spending these bonus cards, how I can get some cash for them?, I really never find anything I couldn't get for $10 cheaper elsewhere.

I was looking at some used games for $14.99 or some new Xbox/Gamecube games for 50% off. Or some cheap DVD's.

The FYE in Jersey Gardens mall in NJ still had at least one 20gb xbox360 in stock when I left yesterday afternoon - Lot#0811. The Woodbridge FYE was out of stock.
fye EXTENTDED WARRANTY not so good. 2 yr for $30.(started from your purchase date!) It is administered by banker warranty group, not by FYE. The term says it only covers the hardware failure for one time. It will issue you a GC for equal value-purchase price(tax is excluded!!). If your item goes wrong the second time, no coverage. Go figure.
Thanks Chior!
Doesn't sound too great- wonder if a SquareTrade warranty would be a good idea. I won't buy a non Jasper 360 without a warranty.

I picked up a 20 GB, Falcon, HDMI, w/ BENQ at the Quakerbridge Mall in NJ off Route 1 (near Princeton) this weekend. They had two left, but they were Zephyrs. Gave the free game with the system too!!!

Question for those that received the two game disc (panda and lego): Did the games come on a separate discs inside the packaging or was it a combo disc?

They are separate discs and separate manuals.
