Xbox 360 Play & Charge Kit $11.90 Shipped (+4% Bing Cashback) @ DeepDiscount.com

Looks pretty good. This is the official play and charge kit correct? And not some third party knock off?

Deepdiscount has been rock solid in my experience. I've been using them off and on for almost 10 years now!

In for one.

I've been needing to get this.

Theoretically you only need one play and charge kit and multiple batteries, right?

I quit using the battery packs long ago and just use rechargable AAs, I got crappy battery life out of the packs. I don't see the downside of using regular batteries.

This is what I was going doing for some time after the cord shit the bed, and it worked out pretty well. As long as you have four batteries and/or keep an eye out on the charge, you're pretty much set for a long, long time.

This. I bought a play 'n charge kit in black when Wal-Mart was clearancing them for $5. The battery lasted about 3 weeks before it wouldn't take a charge anymore.

Now I just use Eneloops.

Mine just died today after 1 year and 10 months of heavy use. For a rechargeable battery I got to say that's pretty good. It'll also turn your controllers into wired controllers. I've had a controller with batteries dying in it for company to use, it'll die after they use it for about 5 min. and they'll plug the cord in and no problems. Very useful device, in for at least 1 ^_^.
good enough for me. in for 2. don't forget bing cashback guys--4%
How does that work?

That is my plan once I get my MW2 360 Bundle. Too bad I need the kit in black otherwise I would jump on this.

i want to get this, but i had one before that didnt last very long. are there some "guidelines" to not screw up the charge calibration?

I was going to jump on this until I read that Walmart had them clearancing for $5.

Hmmm... I already have 1 charge kit, do I need a 2nd one? Hmm...

Just an FYI I've been using these Duracell AA rechargeable and they work really wonderfully. Got a pack of 4 with recharger for about $10 at Target, and since they're just AA they can be used in other things as needed.

This might be discounted, but it still doesn't strike me as a bargain by comparison.

You only need 1 battery. When it needs to be recharged you can still use it at the same time, the cord is long so unless you're very far from the tv you don't need to spend money on another.

Depends on the type of battery it uses, some you're supposed to wait till they have 0 charge others you're not.
