Oh, another thing to bitch about (yes, I realize that most of us are just bitching...but even so, I will most likely end up with a 360 myself):
IMHO, bundling the system with specific games may be a mistake for the retailers. I understand their need for profit, yadda yadda. But MS has changed the rules around on us. What we conceive of "launch" is waiting in line at 3 am in the morning so that we can walk out the door with our brand new console and games.
MS has defined "Launch" as being several weeks AROUND the console's launch date. Their so-called "launch" titles have release dates up to 3 weeks AFTER the console's sale date. So, I'm just imagining the look on people's faces when they go to pick up their 360 "bundle" only to find that Project Gotham Racing 3 won't be available until Nov. 28th (I don't know actual release dates, but I'm just making up an example). But by MS' definition, that still makes it a "launch title."
Or what happens to everyone who pre-orders this bundle, opens their package on Nov. 14th to find...just a console and a invoice explaining that the 4 titles included in their bundle won't ship until Nov. 21st...sorry. Or, even worse...their friends who didn't pre-order a bundle goes to the store on 11/14, picks up the console and a game, but he who pre-ordered has to wait until 11/28 because all of the titles in his bundle haven't been released, so they've held back his order until all the items are available.
Just some more fuel for the fire.
