[quote name='merkman']Wow. I took a look for that Tablemate 2, and I don't mean to bash... but it doesn't look like much.

It's no PlaySeat, but it's better than the Xcelerator stand I bought off eBay for quite a bit more.
It's surprisingly stable, folds down completely flat to store under the couch, and the wheel (and the Fanatec, and the Logitech, etc.) clamps to it just fine. The only digs I have on it are that it's not infinitely adjustable (has set hooks/holes) and that it slides around too easily if you don't put some non-slip stuff on the floor.
It doesn't flex side to side at all. It will tip forwards somewhat (because the weight of the wheel is off center to the table, plus the small amount of flex in the table itself) but that can be largely alleviated by putting something heavy like a book behind the wheel to counterbalance it.
Oh, and it's useful for stuff other than wheels, and was a $30 experiment from Target. It may not look like much, but it's the first wheel-at-the-couch solution I've been happy with, and I've been buying various attempts for years now.
