NOTE EVENT IS IN SOCAL

It took me about 30 seconds to sign up for this after the email came into my box. Hopefully that's fast enough. :D :D

A couple of sites haven't posted their links yet ... can we enter from multiple sites or is it just a pool of entries ... ?

probably less I think, the e3 was limited only to press conference attendance. I'm estimating 200 at max. Also dependingon how cool they actually look. I hope they accept best buy gift cards there.

I think you can sign up on multiple sites since each site is alloted a certain amount according to teamxbox

I wonder if you can buy the 360 anytime within the event. If I win I'm planning on stopping by on Sunday and coming back Sunday. I have to work on Monday morning. It be nice to pick it up on Sunday.

so i take it that it means one entry total, correct?

I entered if i win I'll sell my tickets on Ebay if they are transferable. If not I will not claim them by date and let someone else go. LOL I wonder what some Ebay idiot would pay for a ticket to this since they are so willing to pay $200+ what the system is worth.

each website has a different "contest" though. I'm pretty sure they mean you can't enter multiple times on the same site.

And it is non-transferrable so don't enter if you can't go =p

Its one big contest. The participating websites have some available tickets for the event, but its all one big contest. I wouldnt enter the more than once, I think its one entry, period.

Wow that is retarded. Give away a damn Xbox.

each one has an alocated # of winners tho. I'm pretty sure each one is a seperate contest. well I hope so or i'm voided =)

I just entered the contest. I didnt even notice when reading through it before but its just tickets to the event. They dont even provide transportation. So even if I win I prob wont be able to go

I got the email from XBOX too. I'd enter, but I don't have the money to travel just like that. I wonder how many people have the spare time and money to go there? Wish I could go though.
well Socal has plenty of people... And it's only a 3 hour drive from LA
Exactly, the majority of the people that are at the event are going to be people within driving distance. I don't even think it would be worth it if you had to pay your own way. So your going to be able to sit around playing the system for a couple days early and then at midnight you'll get the priviledge of buying it from Best Buy who has a setup there... Do you get ANY free stuff at all? I mean really, what's in it for me?
Do you get ANY free stuff at all? I mean really, what's in it for me?
You get a free faceplate, among other freebies. No free 360's, though.

Eh, I won (entered in my dad's name) but then found that you have to be 18 no matter what... which I figured as much but I entered with the hope that if I went with someone 18 then I could get in... oh well, I'm a 8 hour drive away anyways.

I wish I was 7 months older

Is anyone else going? Maybe we can meet up over there. I'm going by myself due to the contest I won, but it would be nice to know someone there or someone to hang out with.
