You could always take that off if you don't want it on. Simple to take off, it inserts through the amazing "hole technology" and can be easily removed.

I'm still trying to figure out how encasing your 360 in a plastic case with holes somehow improves your airflow over a 360 surrounded by nothing but air. That's kind of the most advanced "Hole technology" possible.
 
Are you sure they should be selling at this price, we dont want the Russians getting their hands on our hole technology and at this price it may be in their grasps.

LOL. The only thing I can think of is that you can hang you headset on them? I looked at the description to try and figure out what these cases are for and I left more confused.

I was thinking the same thing, or possibly its set up for your controller as well? Either way they look space consuming.

There is a short video and the part on the side is to in fact hang your controller. Like you it is very space consuming. (I don't even have the space to put my 360 vertical) It is supposed to protect your 360 but the big question is from what? Most 360's are perfectly fine where they are.
