• You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console. Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work. Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
• Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
  On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold. You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.
• On Xbox 360, you must have at least a 1 month Gold subscription for sales and Games with Gold. Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

What is this?

Game prices in the Xbox store have a UTC end date associated with them. These dates generally fall into 5 categories :

1. The item is currently on sale. These are usually the weekly sale items that end Tuesday mornings at 09:59:59 UTC.
2. The item will go on sale, usually within 2-3 weeks. These are usually set to switch at 23:59:59 UTC, like the weekly sale on Monday evenings. Some of the major annual sales (Spring, Summer, Black Friday, Holiday) start on Thursday evening UTC, and some times appear to be random.
3. The item is on Game Pass and is not currently or going to be on sale in the next few weeks. Third party games generally cluster around 09:59:59 UTC on the 1st and 16th of each month. Currently, at least one game is associated with every 1st and 16th through January 2025. The dates then spread out, ending with Human Fall Flat on July 1, 2028.
4. First party and EA Play titles are farther out, starting in 2049, with many in 2799 and 9998.
5. No date - some items do not have a price and so don't have a date. If the item is part of a bundle that has a price, the date from the bundle is used.

The list below uses the dates associated with games on Game Pass and EA Play. Time stamps in red are the regular Game Pass departure times and titles in red are confirmed to be leaving, either from Microsoft's regular news postings or by devs / publishers. Items available through Game Pass Core, currently on sale or not available for purchase are also color coded.

The date associated with a Game Pass game is not a guarantee it will leave on that date, but since March 2023 when the price data started getting analyzed, every game that's left Game Pass had been flagged as leaving on that date. It's given a number of people an extra heads up on the generally 2 week notice Microsoft provides.

Costco Membership is fee is well worth it but there is another option. Buy a Costco gift card and on another day ask for a day pass so you can spend the gift card. You might be able to do it all on the same day but I wouldn't try it.

I know some people will argue that there are better deals to be had by shopping at grocery stores and what not, but Costco undercuts every other gas station in my area by at least 10 cents a gallon on their worst days and it’s usually closer to 20 cents most of the time. I drive an extremely fuel efficient small car, and even I have to fill up my measly 10 gallon tank about once a week. I easily save the $60 the membership costs on that alone. Plus my wife’s guzzler is going to save way more than that.

Things you buy in bulk are easily going to save you money when you shop there. 40 bottles of water for $3, 30 jumbo toilet paper rolls for $20, they sell nearly every decent gift card for 10-30% off. If you live even remotely close to one it’s a no brainer, and even if you don’t they ship most things free.

This. In my area gas is like $0.50 cents less. Luckily Costco is 8 mins from the house so we always gas up there.

Questions for Super Lucky players that are now playing New Super Lucky.

I hate the controls on Super Lucky. It does not feel tight and responsive for a platformer. I have read there were improvements so what do you real players think on the controls now?

My wife is trying to play the original and is struggling through; I just gave up and moved on. We love the look and style but the controls suck imo.

We've been mostly talking about getting the dlc for Super Lucky's tale that was delisted and has since reappeared and has been made free. People were first told to email the developer to obtain the dlc if they had bought Super Lucky's Tale.

New Super Lucky's Tale is a brand new game. Mostly the same content just moved around and remixed a little with the original dlc integrated into it. Controls are also improved and the camera moves around like a normal 3D platformer now. There is no upgrade from Super to New Super.

The servers aren't going down, just delisting. It is a bit surprising it hasn't gone the GwG route like FH 1+2 and FM 5+6. Will also be interesting next year if the new Motorsport isn't ready, since it would be FM7's scheduled turn with no Motorsport available digitally.

The co-op achievements will probably require scheduling a session with someone. That's different than online freeroam / adventure, which you should probably be able to jump into (though scheduling will probably be easier, particularly if you want to cheese it with the drag race). You can probably find some co-op sessions, but it might just be people screwing around vs. doing races.

Everything's still working for FH2, and the only flagged achievements for FH1 require more cars than are available in the base game, so you'd need to have delisted car packs.

Thanks for the info Bloomy! Never picked up the DLC for 1 or 2, only got the base games from GwG. Fell off achievement hunting during those delistings and never played them, so didn't feel compelled to try for 100%. FH never really piqued my interest until 3 and I'm not a huge racing game fan so it's been in the backlog since the hot wheels DLC released.

Same thing just happened to me with Super Lucky's Tale DLC on the PC, I never got around to looking for it on the console which I heard was fine. Now it's fixed but was going to get my $10 back since I never even started the second one.

Exactly the same but in 4K. Kind of a barebones remaster on the visual front, from what I'm seeing. Apparently they've made some balance changes and improvements to the way the world level scaling worked in the original game though.

I don't regret buying it, happy to replay the game and get another 1000 gamerscore, but this is the kind of thing that Microsoft is doing for free with the 4K enhancements to its 360 games. Doesn't look like there are any new assets here and the title card even still says "Reckoning" not "Re-Reckoning."

I considered it a few weeks back, but I have the originals and DLC already (got those cheap after the company folded) and still have the games to play. I did really like it back then. The game is backwards compatible as well. I think it was even a GwG a long time ago. I waited to see if the upgrades were noteworthy, but it sounds like they were not.

Bummer about Kingdoms of Amalur, I honestly never looked at it much after the announcement besides knowing about THQ Nordic somehow ending up with it and they did just put out a pretty much "Tony Hawk 1+2" effort on "Destroy all Humans". I’ve see that $100 pack for $90 a lot on Xbox credit.

I’ve been to all sorts of Costco’s and never felt like they were worse then any other store as far as treating you like a criminal. Walmart on the other hand, I’ve been traveling for work before and stopped into Walmarts in sketchy areas and they have almost everything locked up and you have to go through a scanner to get into electronics and the make up areas.

When I worked at Home Depot for 3 years we were told not to worry about theft, they hired separate loss prevention. We were just instructed to look in your cart and if you had a can of paint then I was supposed to check if you had painters tape, brushes, rollers, plastic sheeting or anything else you might need for your project. We were specifically told that 99% of shoppers don’t shop lift so just treat 100% like normal customers and let the loss prevention team worry about people stealing.

Well, let's be real about Home Depot for a second. 85% of the shit there is going to be almost impossible to steal without being noticed. And, your stores have a gate in the front that people have to walk their carts through at most locations towards the exit. When I worked MACY'S we did have loss prevention, but we were also told to follow people we suspected of shoplifting around the store to get a good description of them, and radio it to loss prevention. Then we were told to keep them talking, and ask them questions about what they were looking for in the store, while loss prevention made it's way to them to try to catch them red handed.

That is messed up that they pat you down. Should never happen whether they saw you steal or not. That is what the police are for.

When I was a teenager I am sure I dressed the part of your average store thief and was followed around by employees many time. I never planned to steal anything so I didn't let it get to me.

That the thing about the launch price though. It's mainly for the general crowd who aren't going to buy it right away. That first wave will sell out but if no one is willing to buy the restock then they are screwed because dropping the price any amount in year one is going to piss off your biggest fans.

The business membership, which is the only one worth getting because it has extended hours, and you get cashback, and early access to the Black Friday sales on Costco.com is $120. And, I have been patted down before at Costco. I've explained on this forum many times that I live next to a city with lots of crime. They've all trained their employees to follow anybody that think might be stealing. One time I went to Target, and 15 different employees asked me if I needed help finding anything in 5 minutes. Which if you have worked in retail before, is what you are supposed to do when you suspect a person in your store of shoplifting. They even check receipts at the Dollar Tree, and the cash register is literally two feet from the door.

It is not the only membership worth getting. That is what they try and sell you upfront when you sign up for a membership.. In the end it is very worthwhile if you want to get the maximum benefit from your membership. Still the savings you get for $60 is well worth it in my opinion. Next year I am doing the $120 membership for sure.

Business membership is the biggest scam. Saying it's the "only one worth getting" shows you really know nothing about Costco or how to get a membership the CAG way. Lol. The rest of your comment is wtf.

I signed up for the basic $60 membership this year. Based on my spending at costco this past year it is a no brainer to sign up for the $120 membership next year.

People said there is no $120 Costco membership, and calling me a liar. Just proving them wrong.

Dude. No one said there is no $120 membership at costco in this forum. Costco has some awesome deals for sure. To deny that is not only anti CAG, but anti consumerist!
