• You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console. Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work. Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
• Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
  On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold. You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.

What is this?

Game prices in the Xbox store have a UTC end date associated with them. These dates generally fall into 5 categories :

1. The item is currently on sale. These are usually the weekly sale items that end Tuesday mornings at 09:59:59 UTC.
2. The item will go on sale, usually within 2-3 weeks. These are usually set to switch at 23:59:59 UTC, like the weekly sale on Monday evenings. Some of the major annual sales (Spring, Summer, Black Friday, Holiday) start on Thursday evening UTC, and some times appear to be random.
3. The item is on Game Pass and is not currently or going to be on sale in the next few weeks. Third party games generally cluster around 09:59:59 UTC on the 1st and 16th of each month. Currently, at least one game is associated with every 1st and 16th through January 2025. The dates then spread out, ending with Human Fall Flat on July 1, 2028.
4. First party and EA Play titles are farther out, starting in 2049, with many in 2799 and 9998.
5. No date - some items do not have a price and so don't have a date. If the item is part of a bundle that has a price, the date from the bundle is used.

The list below uses the dates associated with games on Game Pass and EA Play. Time stamps in red are the regular Game Pass departure times and titles in red are confirmed to be leaving, either from Microsoft's regular news postings or by devs / publishers. Items available through Game Pass Core, currently on sale or not available for purchase are also color coded.

The date associated with a Game Pass game is not a guarantee it will leave on that date, but since March 2023 when the price data started getting analyzed, every game that's left Game Pass had been flagged as leaving on that date. It's given a number of people an extra heads up on the generally 2 week notice Microsoft provides.

Does it get less cumbersome? It feels like they forced the Batmobile into every mission, and even the combat has been simplified. you can't stealth-grab enemies from perches anymore, and the 'fear takedown' is basically automated. It's weird. 

I want to keep playing but it's such an odd departure from what made the original games so good.

Apparently there is a replacement GWG game for Japan. As usual with GWG X1 games from other regions, your easiest way to claim this is to login in like normal in a browser and be sure to stay in the Japan region. Just make sure you click the GWG option and not purchase for 1100 yen.:

One of the many cheap JRPGs published by Kemco. I'm pretty sure the games like this are made in some version of RPG Maker just from looking at the in game graphics and UI, and because the developer released 4 games on Xbox in about 2 years, and about 15 games total in the last 5 years.

Other than that the game is in English, is Play Anywhere, had nice character art, and the battles themselves have 3D models. Combat is classic turn-based. Decent reviews on Xbox, only a single, non-English review on Steam.

It took me a bit to get into the changes but it was a great game especially if you have the extra villains dlc. The fear takedowns can be cool but I rarely used them. The batmobile stuff is an adjustment that you’ll get the hang of but still not like it. For all the things that deservingly are criticized, it makes up for it.

I feel the same way about that game. It just wasn't near as good as Asylum or City are and there is way too much Batmobile stuff. A couple segments would have been awesome, but the fun factor of it quickly wore off for me.

Hey that's a game I actually beat! And no, not really, allot of strafing and you're going to hate it much more as the game progresses when you basically have stealth tank segments and two stealth tank boss battles. Not even going to bother with the Riddler challenges, but thankfully you can get majority of those with a passing grade on first few efforts or so unless you're going for the gold trophies, then prepare for frustration to the max. Even with that I liked the game allot, especially if you got the Season of Infamy DLC with it where it adds more villains interwoven into the main game that brings more closure to things.

As someone who has dumped hundreds of hours into Call of Duty over the years, 300+ hours into Smite, 300+ hours into Overwatch and 300+ hours into Apex Legends, I think I should be the audience for Bleeding Edge, and maybe it's better then it looks, but my hype level is almost zero for it. I rarely spend any real money on these games though so they aren't out anything by not attracting me, but I worry if it's not attracting me that it might not be attracting the people they need to make it successful.

I rented this game from Redbox last summer when it was 99 cents, bought it on Black Friday, and just re-installed it today, so I'm way behind on playing and unlocking characters.  But the drifting requires way too many button presses.  Is anyone here playing this one online?

Loved Arkham Knight. Driving took a little getting used to, but I had no issues after that. Loved the DLC too, especially the races and differing background and Batmobile skins. Just for an opposite opinion!

Just got CTR a couple weeks ago. Great kart racer, but the drifting and the controls for it seem less than intuitive. I’m using alternate controls, but am kind of resigned to being awful at drifting and just going for top speed.

The game seems to have a ton of content, some of which I think that I missed from not participating in the other Grand Prix events. They are giving out 2 times the coins on the weekend just for doing stuff, and that's pretty cool. And they're saying that the Pit Stop will remain once the Grand Prix events end. At the end of the day, I just want to unlock Spyro.

I got it running myself, you have to change a single files name to get it to run, at least in the download I found. The above video is a further modded OG Xbox that has 128 megs of RAM instead of the usual amount. On my "vanilla" console only 2 of the 5 levels will load without crashing, and the framerate is pretty bad until some of the enemies are cleared out.

It's great to finally be able to play it, but there really isn't a lot there. The levels really feel like demos to show off some of the set piece stuff. The 2nd level basically is just painting targets on a few big monsters, with some actual gameplay in level 3. Hopefully modders can get the rest of it playable, or at least find more out about the game as a whole. The only other thing I noticed is that there seems to be a fairly fleshed out codex system with info on a bunch of enemies and lore type stuff, 128 entries.

Can anybody comment on the yugioh legacy of the duelist game? The only one I’ve ever played was Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Decade Duels Plus on the 360. I recall enjoying it. I only played against the AI. I’ve never watched the show, I just enjoy card games.

It's weird to look at my gamer history through TrueAchievements. I combined my data and you can really see my gaming moods for the past 15 years told through Achievement/Trophy Scores and when I picked up different systems.

Not sure what's gotten into me, but Xbox One X has really unleashed my gamer side again.

Don't know your exact situation but perhaps a combination of GamePass and the fact that everything on the Xbox One is 1000 gamerscore, even the that took 20 minutes things. I picked the 1943 Joint Strike in this better than usual 360 sale and leaning towards grabbing AssCreed Liberation since I've never had the chance to play it. Then I realize oh yeah these things are only 200 pointers and I'm still trying to scrape and claw through GTASC on the solo side on True Achievements. 

btw, anyone been paying attention to the nuttiness that Arc Systems Works is doing with the River City Ransom bundle in the US on the Xbox One. It's an 18 game collection with all the River City Stuff, NES Double Dragons, Super Dodge Ball and the other sports games we never got in the US. You can jump through some hoops and actually buy it digitally as the bundle on the Hong Kong Microsoft store and run it on your Xbox One. On PS4 and Switch they are releasing all 18 games as a collection with 11 of them translated. TA keeps picking up achievement lists for the NES versions of Double Dragon 1,2, and 3 each a full 1000 points as separate releases almost an ACA NeoGeo situation. They are fairly bad games and pretty bad achievement lists, but something about playing NES games for achievements will make me keep my eye on them.

I've read reports that it won't which seems a very strange oversight. The original digital release of the games as Sid Meier's Pirates! was delisted and it was recently relisted simply as Pirates!. It's this newly released version that seems to have this problem.

Otherwise, the still current Xbox 360 sale is remarkably good!

The only other thing I noticed is that there seems to be a fairly fleshed out codex system with info on a bunch of enemies and lore type stuff, 128 entries.

Wow! It's too bad it was never finished, although by modern standards it seems pretty generic. I actually got to play the demo at E3 many years ago and at the time thought it was the coolest thing ever.

TA just picked up the Kingdom Hearts series on the Store.

Pricing in New Zealand seems to suggest a $60-70 price for each of the two bundles (1.5+2.5 ReMix and 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue).  That seems a bit steep given the age of the games and the fact the PS4 versions can be found for $30 or so physically.

Doesn't mean I'm not excited though.

Full price for the KH games on Xbox is ridiculous...but not surprising given how a different compilation of the games are released every 6 months it seems.

Went to see Sonic with a friend out of a sense of obligation to the 90s. It was... fine and inoffensive, which means it was better than TRoS.

While it does look generic it looks like I personally would have had a blast with the game, After being an avid starcraft player in high school would have definitely loved to play a game through the eyes of a Ghost.

Square Enix never mentioned KH coming to game pass, only final fantasy.

Given the SE titles leaving this month (Just Cause, Tomb Raiders), I’m hopeful the FF games hit this month.
