• You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console. Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work. Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
• Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
  On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold. You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.
• On Xbox 360, you must have at least a 1 month Gold subscription for sales and Games with Gold. Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

What is this?

Game prices in the Xbox store have a UTC end date associated with them. These dates generally fall into 5 categories :

1. The item is currently on sale. These are usually the weekly sale items that end Tuesday mornings at 09:59:59 UTC.
2. The item will go on sale, usually within 2-3 weeks. These are usually set to switch at 23:59:59 UTC, like the weekly sale on Monday evenings. Some of the major annual sales (Spring, Summer, Black Friday, Holiday) start on Thursday evening UTC, and some times appear to be random.
3. The item is on Game Pass and is not currently or going to be on sale in the next few weeks. Third party games generally cluster around 09:59:59 UTC on the 1st and 16th of each month. Currently, at least one game is associated with every 1st and 16th through January 2025. The dates then spread out, ending with Human Fall Flat on July 1, 2028.
4. First party and EA Play titles are farther out, starting in 2049, with many in 2799 and 9998.
5. No date - some items do not have a price and so don't have a date. If the item is part of a bundle that has a price, the date from the bundle is used.

The list below uses the dates associated with games on Game Pass and EA Play. Time stamps in red are the regular Game Pass departure times and titles in red are confirmed to be leaving, either from Microsoft's regular news postings or by devs / publishers. Items available through Game Pass Core, currently on sale or not available for purchase are also color coded.

The date associated with a Game Pass game is not a guarantee it will leave on that date, but since March 2023 when the price data started getting analyzed, every game that's left Game Pass had been flagged as leaving on that date. It's given a number of people an extra heads up on the generally 2 week notice Microsoft provides.

Does anyone know if buying pinball tables on Pinball FX 2 on the Xbox 360 unlock those same tables if you also own Pinball FX 2 and Pinball FX 3 on the Xbox One? Considering the Star Wars tables, but I don't really need them that badly if I can't double dip on both systems.

I have only ever bought the 360 FX2 tables (these Star Wars tables yesterday as well). Every one of them have updated to FX3. The only one i had a problem with was GotG and a simple email solved it. CAG style for life.

Those haven't been tracking for me the last couple days, from either XB1 or Win10. The one for adding games through the mobile app hasn't been tracking either. Was going to try a hard reset on the XB1.

I'm finally playing through Assassin's Creed 1 right now (backlog!) and I have to say I am super impressed with the game. It's repetitive for sure, but it looks amazing (on Xbox One X) and it feels great to play. Some early 360 games just feel so OLD when you play them now, but AC1 still feels modern. I totally get why it was such a monster hit back in the day.

I think AC1 gets maligned too much. Yes, the side quests are repetitive and that was much improved in AC2, but the core story is very good. Also, the AC2 trilogy has lots of callbacks to AC1, so it definitely helps to play it first.

Does anyone know if buying pinball tables on Pinball FX 2 on the Xbox 360 unlock those same tables if you also own Pinball FX 2 and Pinball FX 3 on the Xbox One? Considering the Star Wars tables, but I don't really need them that badly if I can't double dip on both systems.

I was always hoping there would be some special incentive for having that instead of selling it. I should have taken the money back then for it as it amounted to nothing.

I remember enjoying the original AC back in the day. I think it was the second or third 360 title I completed the story in after I got my 360 (Mass Effect was first, I may have beat COD4 before AC).

AC told it’s story well and set the stage for a great franchise. My opinion is the series peaked with Brotherhood, as you can tell annualizing the series took a toll staying with Revelations (even if Rev tied all the previous games together in a pretty incredible way).

I was down to 1 cheevo each in the base game, Blizzard Mountain and Hot Wheels. Had planned to pop all 3 on the same day, but didn't track the percentages properly for Blizzard Mountain and popped that. Doing an online championship counts toward the achievement but the route doesn't get marked on the map, so I wasn't sure what I had left to do. Was going to stop when my percentage was 1 championship away, but miscalculated. Still have 2 mainland routes and 3 for Blizzard Mountain, but up to 8 for Hot Wheels. They'll pop, someday.

Yeah, hard reset didn't work for me, either. Popping an achievement in a Game Pass game was picked up, so their tracking is off.

I was looking over my Pinball FX3 tables and two diferent packs I purchased states to download but when I try to it already says they're installed. I also tried downloading from the website but it doesn't get added to my queue. Anyone else have this issue with the following packs or any other packs?

It was scrapped after nearly 2 months of bad PR. I remember people a year later still thinking it couldn't play used games. And even though they "flipped the switch" many thought they could just turn it back on at any point. Coupled with bad PR like getting a 360 if you don't like the Xbox One policies from Mattrick or Yusuf Mehdi saying Microsoft is going to sell a billion units, Major Nelson being a huge apologist, and just about everything that came out of Aaron Greenberg's mouth. They were so cocky people were actively rooting for them to fail.

Yea no doubt they screwed them self with all of that. I had pre-ordered my Xbox One when they went up on Amazon, at the time I was planning to cancel it if they kept the no used games policy. Luckily, I suppose, they changed it and I got to have a PS5 and XBO for an entire year before anything worth playing came out on either of them!

LucasArts released all those games so none of them are on EA Access. EA just has the license to make new games and Fallen Order didn't even get a 10 hour trial like the Battlefront's did.

Orba Dinn is weird, it's hard to compare it to anything really. I could kind of see it a bit like the Sherlock Holmes game Crimes & Punishment the way you put the clues together. I ran into a few spots that messed me up and had to look for a guide to progress. I liked it though, if it was $9.99 super easy recommend.

I’d grab the DLC while it’s on sale. I haven’t heard any talk of a remastered trilogy, especially since the publishing rights were split between MS (ME1) and EA (2-3)

EA clearly worked something out to publish the original trilogy on PS3, probably since it was a package deal and included DLC. Standalone was also published digitally on PS3. So for remasters I assume EA has the rights if they felt so inclined.

That said, this would be an obvious cash grab and while it may happen, I think it would have by now. With backwards compatibility, its still an easy series to recommend and the DLC greatly enhances ME2 and ME3. Usually only goes on sale at 50% off, so with 70% off, it's absolutely worth it, agreed.

Play them sooner rather than later, Mass Effect 1 is not aging any better.  ME2 and 3 are both still very playable and good looking games, 1 has a great story but some of its systems weren't great when it came out nor have they improved since.  

Its easily one of my favorite franchises from the 360 era and just even today bought the DLC bundles for 2 and 3 on Origin just to have the complete experience there despite already having them on xbox.

Buy now. I have all the DLC for the first 2 (still working on getting all the DLC for 3), and they build on the story so much, especially the DLC in 2. I have heard no word of a remaster, so better to get it all now.

I gave up on hope for remasters a while back. I thought they might have been done after Andromeda had problems and so much criticism but last I heard, the teams that had experience with them have been shuffled around to different projects like The next Dragon Age. Get them. I’m missing two from ME 3 and I’m gonna pick them up in case I feel like replaying the games them for the 5 time each.

I Read the whole series at work a few years ago. I Hope you enjoy it more than I did because I definitely felt after the Soul Society arc it just dragged and got beyond even Dragon Ball levels ridiculous with Ichigo having somewhere around 2-4 new forms each arc.
