Kotaku
Wow, Kotaku is on a sensationalist Microsoft story kick today - first a Wal-Mart store marking down the HD-DVD add-on means HD-DVD is dead, and now this.
While I can't fathom how someone would be so stupid as to actually believe that MS is in a position where "the hackers are in control and there's nothing we can do," (no matter what a 'tard CSR might say) this could still be a wake-up call to MS as well as customers.
My guess? People got their MS Passport login phished. I guess the "Bungie's site was hacked" idea is plausible too. We'll see. Check your credit card activity if you're nervous.
