Yes its today in a update. Our MSP has been made into currency today right?
Cool thanks, it seems XBOX.com is not updated yet, I cannot see my currency balance. I will give it some more time.Yes its today in a update.
You can think that all you want, Im just going by how sony has done things. Ive had a ps3 since the day it launched. Im going to get a x1 and ps4. But like I said, im not just gonna be blind by the previous generations lies. Did you know sony a month or so after launch clearly said that ps3 would offer cross game voice chat in a future update? It was jsut to keep the hype. Did you even see the video in my post? All i was talkign about is Sony and how they have handled previous console launches. They keep taking punches at MS about there no reverse policy when it not even relevant now.I got a headache just from reading all this fanboy garbage.
Give it 3 years and it will be completely different and slow as shit.
Yeah I know, its what i was refering to.I don't know what you were watching at Gamescom but Sony opening Presentation was center around the PS4 UI at the start of the show.
The original 360 guide menu was much slower then todays guide.Give it 3 years and it will be completely different and slow as shit.
I believe its the same as ordering online, from what ive read they check to see if its in there every so often which will show as being charged. Thats from what i read.Does ordering online @ Best Buy with in store pickup charge your card immediately?
Ho ho, what? LolThe original 360 guide menu was much slower then todays guide.
Well, for reference, I am talking the Blades UI. Not the one before the refined W8.Start up was quicker that's for sure.
I don't remember the old guide.
Im not bein dulusional, I was with 360 when it launched and remember the old bladed guide and used it tons, compared to it the newest guide is much faster. The dashboard may not be as fast since it has to do alot of downloading images. But when it comes to the guide menu the new one is much cleaner and more responsive.Ho ho, what? Lol
Actually it was pretty quick. That and the start up time was a LOT quicker. Don't be delusional.
Come close to what? When has the XMB even came close to the X360 UI? Never!
Because the Store is now considered an App.I will take a small 250x250 banner ad over that steaming pile that is the XMB any day!
I launched the PS Store the other day to a full screen AXE. Why do Sony fanboys act like their platform has no ads?
Yet again - for the Store App. You never see an ad unless you go to the store specifically. And that's not annoying?
There are also small 150x150 adds on the XMB in that 6 blocks section as well.
I dont like the XMB, its very dated and has so many useless options that just get in the way of the stuff i wanna get to. The PS3 XMB was actually a menu system created first for the PSX (which is a japan based DVR PS2) which was release around 2003. Seen here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vofHwP9J9Rw It's just so dated.Yep...we are the only two on the planet who don't like the XMB...
I also love how backhanded your comment about the card was. Are you trying to say that you were the only one who preordered an X1 at Target that entire day?
Damn Sony wins /generationbeforeitstarts
Dude, stop reading into what you want to read into, lol. They still had PS4 cards as well. This is most likely due to the fact that they are locked up and you have to ask for them and not just out on the shelf.Yep...we are the only two on the planet who don't like the XMB...

Its definitely always an advantage to launch prior to competition.. granted its only a week this time around.I don't get it. Why do people think a one week earlier release date is a win for MS vs. Sony? How is releasing earlier by a week an advantage? I'm still holding off for some holiday deals (probably won't be huge, but I'm guessing they'll throw in a game or something somewhat cheap).
The wording makes it seem like you can buy the games directly from the Xbox marketplace. In theory, you don't need to buy an XB1 right away. If you want the Day One edition of these games, just buy them from xbox.com. Then when you get your XB1 eventually, you have the Day One editions even if you get your XB1 after those initial two weeks.Apparently, the "Day One" versions of launch games will be available as downloads for two weeks from the launch date. It was in the latest Major Nelson podcast.
"To commemorate the launch of Xbox One, Day One Editions are special game SKUS that include exclusive content and are available only through retail pre-order while supplies last, or via download on Xbox Live the first two weeks after launch."
Yes, but who will pay full price for a game that you won't play for months or possibly years down the road. The wording makes it seem like you can buy the games directly from the Xbox marketplace. Someone who wants the exclusive Day One Edition content (bolded below)? Depends on what that content is, obviously...Yes, but who will pay full price for a game that you won't play for months or possibly years down the road.

I personally agree. Plus who's to say it won't be available as DLC later on. I just thought the wording was interesting, that you can do stuff like this with digital downloads.Given the launch games will probably be $39.99 by February, I'm not so sure paying $20 more so you can "save" all-digital versions for later playing is such a grand idea. Bonus content really isn't worth that.
