[CUSTOMSPOILER="General Info"]
Q. What is MyPunchcard?
A. MyPunchcard is a part of the Xbox LIVE Rewards program open to all members. Through MyPunchcard, Xbox LIVE Rewards members can get rewarded for performing a specific set of actions outlined in the Punchcard for each offer. Once all punches are earned on a specific Punchcard, get rewarded!

Q. Who is eligible for MyPunchcard?
A. All Xbox LIVE Rewards members are eligible to participate in MyPunchcard. To start earning punches for completing specific actions, join Xbox LIVE Rewards now for free if you haven’t already: http://rewards.xbox.com.

Q. How does MyPunchcard work?
A. Each Punchcard has a set amount of punches required in order to complete it. Once a specific action is completed and a punch is earned, it can take up to 96 hours for it to appear on the MyPunchcard page. Xbox LIVE Rewards members are only eligible to receive a Reward once all punches have been earned and the entire Punchcard is complete. There is a limit of one Reward per one completed Punchcard, unless otherwise noted.

Q. Where can I find the available Punchcards?
A. To check out the available Punchcards, log into the Xbox LIVE Rewards site and visit the MyPunchcard page. The amount of available Punchcards each month will vary.

Q. Do Punchcards expire?
A. Yes. Once a Punchcard expires, no further punches will be provided for actions completed after that date. Expiration dates for each Punchcard vary and are listed on the MyPunchcard page found here.

Q. I completed a Punchcard! How do I claim my Reward?
A. If the Reward is Microsoft Points, they will appear under Pending on your MyRewards page by the 15th of the following month. If the Reward is anything other than Microsoft Points, an email will be sent to your contact email listed here with instructions to redeem your Reward. The Rewards for completion of a Punchcard will vary with each Punchcard offer. Rewards will not be provided during the Punchcard offer period.

April's PlaytoEarn Punchcard
Check your status - May take 3-5 days to update
XBLA DLC purchases do not count toward the April Punchcard - source

Cornelius's list of sources for last-minute XBLA purchase ideas:
  • The Wikipedia page for XBLA releases, sorted by MSP.
  • Xbox.com's sorted list of best-selling XBLA titles.
  • Major Nelson's most-recent list of top 20 XBLA games purchased.
  • The Twisted Pixel bundle ... seriously, it's 3600 MSP worth of games for 800 MSP!
  • The DOTW for April 30th, listed on our OP, as well as Major Nelson's blog, which will go live around 4/30 @ 2am PDT, and be valid for 14-15 hours up through the promo's deadline between 4pm-5pm'ish PDT (depending how they've configured the reporting servers to account for GMT).
Note I was going to also suggest the "Angry Birds Trilogy" sale starting 4/30, but since it's a GoD title, it doesn't count.
  • Games your friends have picked up. Use the "Compare Games" feature on their profile, which will list their games in order of most-recently played by default.
  • Atari-published games, which you should assume will get de-published as soon as its game licenses/IP are sold off in bankruptcy court.
  • Games NOT found on compilation discs, because you can often find them "cheap" on eBay or used-game retailers. See this XBLA thread post (under "XBLA Discs") for more info & lists.
  • And finally, TylerH1701's list of XBLA games yet to go on sale
Hope this helps anyone's last-minute purchase dilemma. ;)

FAQ:
_________________________________________________

Q: So what is this and how much does it cost?
A: Xbox Rewards is a free loyalty program run by ePrize for the Microsoft Corporation. They offer free and Gold Xbox Live members "rewards" for completing survey, making qualified purchases, or other actions during a specified period.

Q: Where do I start?
A: You should start by reviewing the official FAQ. Once you are done there, and you have decided to join, you are ready to start earning rewards.

Q: I never got my reward for my first purchase after joining the rewards program?
A: According to the official FAQ. You will only earn that reward for your first purchase from the marketplace ever. If you made a purchase before joining the program, you are out of luck.

Q: I never got my reward for activating Netflix after joining the rewards program?
A: According to the official FAQ and some discussion with @XboxSupport You will only earn that reward for the first time you ever activate Netflix on your specific gamertag. If you did that before joining the program, you are out of luck. If you are still good, you have to have had Netflix activated for 1 month and have watched 2+ hours of streaming content during that time period.

Q: When will this end?
A: According to the official T&C, the program is scheduled to end at 3:59 p.m. GMT on June 30, 2012. It is possible that the program will be renewed or go after that, but there hasn't been more info on that yet.

Q: Will my Xbox LIVE Rewards Points expire?
A: Rewards Points do expire, so be sure to use them by June 30, 2012.

Q: How do I use my expiring Microsoft Points first?
A: Promotional points with expiration dates are automatically redeemed first before purchased points. [source]
During normal months, they let'em loose by the 15th.

You could always check your history on billing.microsoft.com for random point deposits--just don't forget that in December they didn't accrue and just deposited them directly as you earned them (except for the Monthly reward).
Thanks. Is that the old billing site? It seems much improved. Still has the points sunset thing:

* The transactions related to Microsoft points will be shown for a period of one year at most.

Anyway its was 12/5 in my case for the rewards rebate.
During normal months, they let'em loose by the 15th.
Correct ... and in December, they dumped your pending balance on 12/1, plus if you gained 2000 MSP by 12/10, then you got another payout on 12/15. Otherwise, your payout will come around January 15th.

FYI to all, I've updated the OP with as much info about the "Lose Points, Gain Points" promo as possible. Obviously the search results of only 28 add-ons invisibly tagged on Xbox Marketplace as "fitness" is incomplete, since "Dance Central 2" alone has more than 2x that many add-ons. Therefore, I wouldn't get too discouraged if Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) by "C&C Music Factory" isn't specified, because it obviously belongs to one of the games listed.
No Dance Central means fuck you to this dumbass fitness rewards. Though I figure (or there goddamn better be) enough people bitching on the forums to make them change their mind.
 Seriously, who are these morons that Microsoft hire to do these "rewards"?
No Dance Central means fuck you to this dumbass fitness rewards. Though I figure (or there goddamn better be) enough people bitching on the forums to make them change their mind.
Already called out on that ... for example, why isn't horse riding qualify in "Gangnam Style" if it's an Olympic sport?

Here's the forum post where I take them to task on which games qualify for game add-on purchases:
http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/xbox_rewards_support/f/29/t/425571.aspx

Also, I asked for clarification on eligible games linked in FAQ vs. eligible games listed on Rewards website, since I really don't want to have to rack up 20 hours in "Brain Challenge"!
http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/xbox_rewards_support/f/29/t/425566.aspx

Lastly, in both, you'll see I'm making sure our gameplay & purchases don't need to be completed by January 31st, 2012.

why you mad bro? Just kidding, thats pretty fucked up. I was blown away at the requirements for the points rebate, that people are not getting in on it is maddening, and on top of all that youre probably sick of halo 4 now... maybe.
this will definitely make me stay away from similar promos from them, so thanks for the warning.

um when I checked the deal on the dashboard, I definatly saw the dance central games and kinect sports included at least in the add on department, so I'm thinking the links are faulty information and dance central does count

edit-just checked again, its in that new year resolution thing on the dashboad, then go to the join live rewards or whatever, and then press right too see eight of the elgible games, which include both kinect sports and at least dance central 3

lol yea havent played halo 4 since the new map came out and just that day..

to say i am sick of halo 4 would be an understatement

I really haven't been paying any attention to this program but I just logged in to see what I have.

Looks like I've gotten 880 lifetime points - not bad for barely trying. I forgot to do the survey a lot of months too. Mostly my points come from 1 and 3-month renewals (which I piled on my account years ago but I guess it applies them every month or 3 and I get rewards points that way - nice).

But I also have 80 points from "MyAchievements – 2% Marketplace Rebate". Is that a percentage of the points I earned in that time? Because I am not getting many these days (though I did get most of them on Borderlands 2 around this time). But getting $1 back for barely playing all that much is an OK deal I guess ;).

Edit: Never mind, I see that is just a 2% rebate on purchases. I bought the Borderlands 2 Season Pass back then which got me most of that 60 MSP "bonus". Of course I got hosed on that when it was on sale last week - would have made out better just waiting since I barely used it anyway.

i got a reply in the rewards forum that they don't tally the apocalyptic reward until the end of the month and to give it up to 1/15 for it to show up as pending.

I joined XBL Rewards 2 days ago and it said to wait 36 hours for it to take effect.
But up to now, I hasn't. No email or anything. Should I just wait a little bit more?

It used to be up to 96 hours. I joined on day one, and it took nearly a week. Xbox Rewards is VERY slow. A few days is nothing compared to how long you'll wait for your points.

Played the Nike+ Kinect demo the other day, could actually see me maybe picking that up. My total lifetime rewards is 2250 now but yeah I don't think I'll get that fitness one this month.
Can you pop in DC2 and just let it be and add up 20 hrs? Or you have to really play it ha.
I thought about doing this with Kinect Sports but then I realized I am probably spending more in electricity and wear and tear on the 360 for that 20 hours than the value of the points I'd get ;).

Install the game to your harddrive first. Disc won't even be spinning which is the bulk of the "wear" to your 360.

I have found that the Rewards stats seem to count all time in the game, so I imagine the same would be true for something like this.
anybody has the marketplace 2% rebate showing up yet for last month?
They seem to be taking their sweet time on everything from December.

The MyAchievements points for October posted to accounts on 11/8 and the ones for November posted on 12/5. The November points probably showed up earlier because of their Apocalyptic Rewards promotion. Based on that, I'd expect them to show up as pending sometime in the coming week, and wouldn't get deposited until at least the 15th.

I had DC2 installed, left the game on and left my Xbox on for 24hrs now. Hopefully that'll do the trick ha. My Xbox never got loud and just warm to the touch. This thing is a beast, can't say the same for the launch Xbox and PS3 though.

Hey all ... Xbox Rewards figured out that the simplest answer is the best one, so the FAQ for January's "New Year, New You" promo now points back to the offer's own page for clarification.

However, they were smart enough to now say "eligible game titles" and "all addons for the following games" in the offer, so that settles any confusion in the FAQ they generated. I've updated the OP with the new wording.

Fantastic. Glad to see Dance Central has officially been added. Also glad they removed Brain Challenge, since that made absolutely no sense.

My pending list now shows the 100 MSP for the Apocalyptic Rewards promotion, as well as the 20 MSP for my birthday month. They're listed retroactive to 12/31 and 1/1 respectively. The 2% back and January survey MSP aren't showing yet.

My Apocalyptic 100 points Reward shows up now as well, but still no MyAchievements – 2% Marketplace Rebate for December.

Same here. However, my January survey shows as pending.

Same here as well. I sent quite a few points (~5000msp) last month so was hoping to get my free 100msp from it...

I Just had 310 points deposited into my Live account. So 100 from the Mayan rewards, 20 from the December survey and I believe the rest from 2% back.

Same here.

Same amount, even :bouncy:
I had 170 deposited, but my December survey and Apocalyptic awards still show as pending.
The Rewards page takes a day or two to update - you should see the deposit record in a little bit ^_^

I had 260 deposited. Going by purchases on billing site (getting tired of having to get a security code every time I visit there), I spent 7,600 in December. 2% is 152, they've been rounding up, so 160 plus 100 for Apocalyptic covers it.

I completed my December survey late, it shows in pending as 1/1, so it probably wasn't part of the deposit.

Oh ok thanks, that makes more sense.

Odd thing...I got 150 deposited into my acct, which is from the Apocalypse and possibly 2% back. But only the 1/1 Survey and Apocalyptic Reward is showing as 'pending'. The 2% is no where to be found. I'm hoping that it just needs to be updated.

Even though I'm gold it says upgrade to gold on xbox rewards and I don't see apocalyptic under pending even though I spent 2800 points.

People have said the 2% won't show as pending. It will show up under Points Awarded.

Got 160 points yesterday. 20 (Jan survery) + 100 (Apocalyptic Rewards) + 40 (2% of 2600 = 52 points, doesn't add up).

I don't think the January survey points would be deposited yet. The MyAchievements rebate and Apocalyptic rewards would be dated 12/31 and get counted, but the January survey would be dated 1/1 and have to wait. So the 160 you got fits. The MyAchievements rebates have appeared to get rounded up to the nearest 10, so that 52 became 60.

You received 100 (Apocalyptic Rewards) + 60 (2% of 2600 = 52 points, they rounded up). January Survey hasn't been credited yet.

Even if it shows as pending since the first?
