Q. What is MyPunchcard?
A. MyPunchcard is a part of the Xbox LIVE Rewards program open to all members. Through MyPunchcard, Xbox LIVE Rewards members can get rewarded for performing a specific set of actions outlined in the Punchcard for each offer. Once all punches are earned on a specific Punchcard, get rewarded!

Q. Who is eligible for MyPunchcard?

Q. How does MyPunchcard work?
A. Each Punchcard has a set amount of punches required in order to complete it. Once a specific action is completed and a punch is earned, it can take up to 96 hours for it to appear on the MyPunchcard page. Xbox LIVE Rewards members are only eligible to receive a Reward once all punches have been earned and the entire Punchcard is complete. There is a limit of one Reward per one completed Punchcard, unless otherwise noted.

Q. Where can I find the available Punchcards?
A. To check out the available Punchcards, log into the Xbox LIVE Rewards site and visit the MyPunchcard page. The amount of available Punchcards each month will vary.

Q. Do Punchcards expire?
A. Yes. Once a Punchcard expires, no further punches will be provided for actions completed after that date. Expiration dates for each Punchcard vary and are listed on the MyPunchcard page found here.

April's PlaytoEarn Punchcard
Check your status - May take 3-5 days to update
XBLA DLC purchases do not count toward the April Punchcard - source

Cornelius's list of sources for last-minute XBLA purchase ideas:
  • The Wikipedia page for XBLA releases, sorted by MSP.
  • Xbox.com's sorted list of best-selling XBLA titles.
  • Major Nelson's most-recent list of top 20 XBLA games purchased.
  • The Twisted Pixel bundle ... seriously, it's 3600 MSP worth of games for 800 MSP!
  • The DOTW for April 30th, listed on our OP, as well as Major Nelson's blog, which will go live around 4/30 @ 2am PDT, and be valid for 14-15 hours up through the promo's deadline between 4pm-5pm'ish PDT (depending how they've configured the reporting servers to account for GMT).
Note I was going to also suggest the "Angry Birds Trilogy" sale starting 4/30, but since it's a GoD title, it doesn't count.
  • Games your friends have picked up. Use the "Compare Games" feature on their profile, which will list their games in order of most-recently played by default.
  • Atari-published games, which you should assume will get de-published as soon as its game licenses/IP are sold off in bankruptcy court.
  • Games NOT found on compilation discs, because you can often find them "cheap" on eBay or used-game retailers. See this XBLA thread post (under "XBLA Discs") for more info & lists.
  • And finally, TylerH1701's list of XBLA games yet to go on sale
Hope this helps anyone's last-minute purchase dilemma. ;)

FAQ:
_________________________________________________

Q: So what is this and how much does it cost?
A: Xbox Rewards is a free loyalty program run by ePrize for the Microsoft Corporation. They offer free and Gold Xbox Live members "rewards" for completing survey, making qualified purchases, or other actions during a specified period.

Q: Where do I start?
A: You should start by reviewing the official FAQ. Once you are done there, and you have decided to join, you are ready to start earning rewards.

Q: I never got my reward for my first purchase after joining the rewards program?
A: According to the official FAQ. You will only earn that reward for your first purchase from the marketplace ever. If you made a purchase before joining the program, you are out of luck.

Q: I never got my reward for activating Netflix after joining the rewards program?
A: According to the official FAQ and some discussion with @XboxSupport You will only earn that reward for the first time you ever activate Netflix on your specific gamertag. If you did that before joining the program, you are out of luck. If you are still good, you have to have had Netflix activated for 1 month and have watched 2+ hours of streaming content during that time period.

Q: When will this end?
A: According to the official T&C, the program is scheduled to end at 3:59 p.m. GMT on June 30, 2012. It is possible that the program will be renewed or go after that, but there hasn't been more info on that yet.

Q: Will my Xbox LIVE Rewards Points expire?
A: Rewards Points do expire, so be sure to use them by June 30, 2012.

Q: How do I use my expiring Microsoft Points first?
A: Promotional points with expiration dates are automatically redeemed first before purchased points. [source]

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't trying to defend or justify MS' sales / rewards. Between a decent XBL experience and large subscriber base (i.e. hostage count), MS doesn't need to offer more in the way of sales, rewards or price cuts. Until MS' competition improves, we're going to be stuck with what we have.

Decided that Zen Studios could use my money more than Warner Bros. (for Arkham City DLC), and it's almost a sure bet that Arkham's DLC will be on sale within a few months. :)

Did the June 30, 2012 expiration date actually applied? I have/had 560 points and forgot about the rewards and did not spend it. I have not looked at the site in forever.

nfl blitz for 1200 MSP isnt bad I suppose. Its been out for awhile so any minute now it could go on sale. Hopefully nba jam goes back on sale for 800 MSP. I could use that as a basketball filler until Live 13 releases.

I wanted the marvel avengers tables and i've wanted 3D ultra minigolf 2 for awhile, so thats 1600 points right there. Surprised to see the pinball fx tables on there for me to use

LOL, yeah pinball is a sport?

Sounds good to me, there are a few tables i never got but wanted to. Its time for a shopping spree :)

Onechanbara, greatest sport of all time.

Seriously though, undecided. I'll take advantage, but a matter of deciding if I want to buy a game and pinball as a filler or just buy all pinball. At least I have a month to decide.

I got this link to work a couple of days ago, but now it just gives me an error. Maybe someone realized that many of these items on the list weren't really the sports-related content they had in mind.

On another note, my superhero points from last month are now pending.

Um...so, I'm no longer a rewards member? I signed in and the site told me that they needed 36 hours to set up my account. Yeah, I've already done this. Anyone else have any problems?

Got the exact same thing. Wonder if the database for it is down?

@NintendoCleveland: Yeah seems Xbox Rewards support kept deleting from posts, because it was inaccurate. They better have meant they need to ADD the recently approved content, not REMOVE the not-so-sportlike items I made several purchaes based on that official list.

@Gabrius: Yes, a CAG asked in the rewards suppor tforum and it was confirmed. Will post link if I come across it today.

Tagged to remind me to look at this thread later.

Also, here's the list that Yamayama posted before they pulled it. I would think that the actual sports-related content on this list would count, but I wouldn't 100% rely on games like Bionic Commando to count because it's not really a sports game, and probably why the list was pulled in the first place.

The list link doesn't work for me either.

It really seems weird how loose these promotions are. It seems like they are actually taking requests! The guy suggested Trials Evolution and it was added!

I hope Pinball Arcade was included! I just bought both packs a couple of days ago. Thank you, FarSight, for taking forever to get the tables out! As for Trials Evo, sucks that I got it so early and how it won't count for me.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD (Not 100% Confirmed NO, but someone asked about it and a few other games, and XBL Rewards 5 specifically left this game out of the list of confirmed YES games.)

Also, here's the list that Yamayama posted before they pulled it. I would think that the actual sports-related content on this list would count, but I wouldn't 100% rely on games like Bionic Commando to count because it's not really a sports game, and probably why the list was pulled in the first place.
Add these to the NO list:
Bomberman Battlefest - Unfortunately this is not an eligible item.
Buku Sudoku - Unfortunately this is not an eligible item.
Guardian Heroes - Unfortunately this is not an eligible item.
Space Ark - Unfortunately this is not an eligible item.
Yie Ar Kung-Fu - Unfortunately this is not an eligible item.

I know those are odd titles but I had to ask them since they are games I want.

On a side note, the OP hasn't been updated in a while. Anyone want to do it? I don't mind doing it but wanted to ask/see if someone else usually does it. :)

Edit: Well, I went ahead and edited the OP. If someone wants to add or fix things then by all means go ahead. :)

Bought MLB Bobblhead Pros now, wouldn't mind if I was able to get the August rewards glitch on my account and get 240 back just for that. Otherwise I'll pick up a couple other sports games I'm thinking about.

Yes and it is part of the Summer Of Arcade promotion as well so some people should take notice that they can end up earning 640 MSP from doing both promotions :applause:

That's exactly what I was thinking, already got wreckateer and Deadlight so Tony hawk would equal my 3rd game!

Yup wasn't gonna do summer of arcade if these two didn't stack, now I'm pretty sure I will be picking up 3 games before the 21st, even though 640 pts doesn't seem like a lot its the best we've gotten from xbl rewards in a few months

It's like you read my mind ... only I just spent at least 1 hour of my life scraping even more games out of the forums, and into the OP. Hope this helps everyone!

Don't forget that TNT racers is on sale for 400 points this week. I'm thinking about picking it up,it seems decent and it'll help with getting 240 points back.

I think I need to wear a dunce cap... When the DLC pack for Pinball Arcade came out, I immediately snapped it up at 11:50 PM July 31... so apparently this won't count toward the August sports reward...

at least my indecision for the second DLC pack led to me purchasing it on August 1. but it hurts to think that I could've used that 400 points toward the reward.

Well, looks like the glitch was corrected... no points pending for the August promo anymore.

...looks like I will have to end up buying Bobblehead Pros after all.

I've been disappointed with it so far. The AI is odd. On the medium difficulty (3 out of 5), I got destoryed by the computer (all they were hitting is texas-leaguer singles over and over and over again) and on the easiest difficulty I killed them (1 out of 5). So I guess the easy-medium (2 out of 5) might be a fair difficulty level, I haven't tried it yet.

The pitching is frustrating in that if you give up 2 or 3 hits in a row (or make an error) your pitcher gets frazzled and it's impossible to get an out. I seriously have to go through 5-7 pitchers a game, if you leave a guy in too long, the game gets out of hand real quick. I haven't started a season yet, so I don't know if you run into stamina problems by doing that, I sure hope not otherwise I'm screwed.

I'm getting more used to the fielding, but there is still some small auto adjusting problems, such as a flyball to left center. You might assume that you'll be auto adjusted to the left fielder, but the game puts you as the center fielder, so you end up running the wrong way for a second and miss the fly ball.

The menus are kind of dumb, just like they were in all the Power Pros games, so that's not really a shock.

The batting is still as fun as ever, the baserunning is fine once you get the controls down. I still need to spend some more time with it, but like I said so far I've been a little disappointed.

Also, since I'm a fucking dumbass and forgot to buy Tony Hawk yesterday, I think I'll be picking up Golf: Tee It Up and Ultra Mini-Golf to get to my 1600 msp.

Ha. Don't know why RB Blitz and Pinball Arcade both qualify as "sports" but I'll likely be getting both of those to qualify. Was waiting for a sale on Pinball Arcade, this is close enough.

Wait, so Deadblock counts according to the first page? I'm on the fence about buying that on sale and probably will. But if I buy that I may considering grabbing some pinball tables too. Has anyone seen the post confirming deadblock (and hopefully the DLC too). If not, I might make a new thread myself in the rewards forum.
