[CUSTOMSPOILER="General Info"]
Q. What is MyPunchcard?
A. MyPunchcard is a part of the Xbox LIVE Rewards program open to all members. Through MyPunchcard, Xbox LIVE Rewards members can get rewarded for performing a specific set of actions outlined in the Punchcard for each offer. Once all punches are earned on a specific Punchcard, get rewarded!

Q. Who is eligible for MyPunchcard?
A. All Xbox LIVE Rewards members are eligible to participate in MyPunchcard. To start earning punches for completing specific actions, join Xbox LIVE Rewards now for free if you haven’t already: http://rewards.xbox.com.

Q. How does MyPunchcard work?
A. Each Punchcard has a set amount of punches required in order to complete it. Once a specific action is completed and a punch is earned, it can take up to 96 hours for it to appear on the MyPunchcard page. Xbox LIVE Rewards members are only eligible to receive a Reward once all punches have been earned and the entire Punchcard is complete. There is a limit of one Reward per one completed Punchcard, unless otherwise noted.

Q. Where can I find the available Punchcards?
A. To check out the available Punchcards, log into the Xbox LIVE Rewards site and visit the MyPunchcard page. The amount of available Punchcards each month will vary.

Q. Do Punchcards expire?
A. Yes. Once a Punchcard expires, no further punches will be provided for actions completed after that date. Expiration dates for each Punchcard vary and are listed on the MyPunchcard page found here.

Q. I completed a Punchcard! How do I claim my Reward?
A. If the Reward is Microsoft Points, they will appear under Pending on your MyRewards page by the 15th of the following month. If the Reward is anything other than Microsoft Points, an email will be sent to your contact email listed here with instructions to redeem your Reward. The Rewards for completion of a Punchcard will vary with each Punchcard offer. Rewards will not be provided during the Punchcard offer period.

April's PlaytoEarn Punchcard
Check your status - May take 3-5 days to update
XBLA DLC purchases do not count toward the April Punchcard - source

Cornelius's list of sources for last-minute XBLA purchase ideas:
  • The Wikipedia page for XBLA releases, sorted by MSP.
  • Xbox.com's sorted list of best-selling XBLA titles.
  • Major Nelson's most-recent list of top 20 XBLA games purchased.
  • The Twisted Pixel bundle ... seriously, it's 3600 MSP worth of games for 800 MSP!
  • The DOTW for April 30th, listed on our OP, as well as Major Nelson's blog, which will go live around 4/30 @ 2am PDT, and be valid for 14-15 hours up through the promo's deadline between 4pm-5pm'ish PDT (depending how they've configured the reporting servers to account for GMT).
Note I was going to also suggest the "Angry Birds Trilogy" sale starting 4/30, but since it's a GoD title, it doesn't count.
  • Games your friends have picked up. Use the "Compare Games" feature on their profile, which will list their games in order of most-recently played by default.
  • Atari-published games, which you should assume will get de-published as soon as its game licenses/IP are sold off in bankruptcy court.
  • Games NOT found on compilation discs, because you can often find them "cheap" on eBay or used-game retailers. See this XBLA thread post (under "XBLA Discs") for more info & lists.
  • And finally, TylerH1701's list of XBLA games yet to go on sale
Hope this helps anyone's last-minute purchase dilemma. ;)

FAQ:
_________________________________________________

Q: So what is this and how much does it cost?
A: Xbox Rewards is a free loyalty program run by ePrize for the Microsoft Corporation. They offer free and Gold Xbox Live members "rewards" for completing survey, making qualified purchases, or other actions during a specified period.

Q: Where do I start?
A: You should start by reviewing the official FAQ. Once you are done there, and you have decided to join, you are ready to start earning rewards.

Q: I never got my reward for my first purchase after joining the rewards program?
A: According to the official FAQ. You will only earn that reward for your first purchase from the marketplace ever. If you made a purchase before joining the program, you are out of luck.

Q: I never got my reward for activating Netflix after joining the rewards program?
A: According to the official FAQ and some discussion with @XboxSupport You will only earn that reward for the first time you ever activate Netflix on your specific gamertag. If you did that before joining the program, you are out of luck. If you are still good, you have to have had Netflix activated for 1 month and have watched 2+ hours of streaming content during that time period.

Q: When will this end?
A: According to the official T&C, the program is scheduled to end at 3:59 p.m. GMT on June 30, 2012. It is possible that the program will be renewed or go after that, but there hasn't been more info on that yet.

Q: Will my Xbox LIVE Rewards Points expire?
A: Rewards Points do expire, so be sure to use them by June 30, 2012.

Q: How do I use my expiring Microsoft Points first?
A: Promotional points with expiration dates are automatically redeemed first before purchased points. [source]
So you only get 2% off of 1 purchase a month?
I don't know where you're seeing the 1 purchase thing. You get 2% back on everything you buy every month. If you spend 4,000 MSP in October, you get 80 MSP back. If you spend 800 the next month, you get 16 MSP back.

Geez. Guess it's time to splurge on the sale this week. I did mention before that Microsoft/XBox is the Gamestop of digital sales, rewards, and offers. Major Nelson and the XBox Rewards teams are puppets of whoever pull the strings.
When did this start? I just bought something for 800 MSP yesterday. Does that mean in the next 96 hours, I will have 16 MSP pending?
9/27 onwards, no idea when it shows up.

2. Timing: The current phase of the offer begins on September 27, 2012 at 4:00 a.m. Coordinated Universal Time (Greenwich Mean Time) ("UTC") and ends on June 30, 2013 at 3:59 p.m. UTC ("Offer Period"). Please visit http://www.worldtimeserver.com or another world time database to determine local time. Administrator's computer is the official time-keeping device for the Offer.
Tier 3: If you are an Xbox LIVE Rewards Gold member with a Gamerscore of twenty-five thousand (25,000) or more as of the first day of any month during the Offer Period, you will be eligible to receive the Tier 3 Offer.
http://rewards.xbox.com/myachievements/terms-and-conditions/

I'm not so sure Sept 27-30 purchases qualify. I would have interpreted the above as the Gold/Gamerscore check not having yet occured and purchases towards the rebate don't start till Oct 1 unless they count Sept 27 as the first day for the month since it's the first day of the promo. Unfortunately I thought you could game the system by timing the last day of a Gold sub to end on the 2nd and continue getting rebates on purchases for the rest of the month but you must be a Gold member when the purchase is made. So I guess two checks are made: a gamerscore/Gold check on the first of each month and if you qualify a Gold check when you make a purchase.

As for when you get your points:
When will my 1% or 2% rebate be deposited into my Xbox LIVE account?
A. The refund will be calculated once at the end of each month that the purchases were made during and will be awarded by the 15th of the following month. Deposits of the Points refund will follow the Program’s current Points deposit terms. For more information, please read the Terms & Conditions.

When I saw that they had a link to "eligible content", I was super-excited to think that they'd reverted to the good ol' days where things were spelled-out and not where we had to guess (and alternately, the list provided suggested games/dlc I wouldn't have thought twice about on my own otherwise) ...then I saw it was just a list of movies & tv shows. Not I. I redeemed a month code last night and was recognized with the gold crown on the My Achievements page almost instantly.
Does anyone else here have an issue with Xbox Live Rewards not recognizing your Gold status?

Did either of you extend an active subscription or had your prior Gold sub expired (if you had been Gold)?

I was Silver for probably two months prior.
im probably wrong, but could it have anything to do with the fact that you used monthly codes as opposed to charging your credit card?
I actually considered this. Although it's never said anywhere (like the majority of the Xbox Rewards rules), I wondered if they want a full year subscription or auto-renewal on.

I had been Silver since probably February or March.

how soon did you take that screenshot after you renewed? because it can take a few hours for the status change on your account to propagate to all the database servers. that's why they give the notice that it can take up to 72 hours for things to take effect (even though it's usually much much faster).

15 days later. Just took it to post here.
Xbox forums has several people asking about this as well. Glad I'm not alone - hopefully it gets resolved soon. Patiently waiting to make several purchases.

Thats all I have for now, im sure I will think of more.
Im assuming this deal doesnt stack, no 4000 pts spent for 600 pts back correct?
Any items considered in this deal that go on sale, via Sales and Special or DotW count as well?
I ask about Sales and Special app because i know the purchases show up in a different market place or something of the sort...
Thanks for the response in advance and when I think of more I will post here and PM the admin that answers...
Currently playing: CS:GO, GTAIV, Reach, Shining Force (GBA), Fire Emblem (GBA HHH), Bloodycheckers, Doom and Destiny

I thought you were going to add mine from your response in the XBLA thread but no worries, I posted in your thread on the reward support regarding:

Dead Space Ignition, Dead Space DLC, Dead Space 2 DLC, FEAR 2 DLC, Alan Wake DLC, and the Pinball FX Plants vs Zombies Table.

Costume Quest is a fantastic candidate as well as the above poster mentioned. Should check on it too.

Like I said, no worries man. I threw it in there.

Heres to hoping they respond with relative quickness. I'd like to purchase some content I'm missing sooner rather than later.
my bad... i thought you said the RE games... put the list together really quick
If it makes you feel any better, I mentioned the RE games. ;)

There ya go... lol

happy we got down to the bottom of that.

So far no damn answer... :hot:

im betting we will know what all is on sale first.

Im hoping for Castlevania Themed DLC. There are enough games warranting that right? :D

Man I have had the sudden urge to kill Drac all day off and on!

I wonder if the Black Ops map packs count for the October promo since they contain the zombie maps. I need to pick those up and they're on sale right now...I still hate to spend essentially $21 for 3 maps though.
Anyone get the birthday gift yet? I purchased something late last month, will it show up anytime soon?
The birthday gift is 20MSP. Someone on another forum has got theirs pending...

LOL... so they were right. it is worth 25 cents... between that and the 2% back on purchases, I'm swimming in points now.

Hello, as I'm new to the "world of Xbox 360", I was wondering if someone could tell me where do we put in our birthday info for Microsoft to know about our birthday month ? I can't recall including it anywhere when I initially signed up for Xbox Live or Live Rewards. I may have done it, and just forgot.....would like to at least be able to see it, if I did in fact already take care of this. Thanks in advance everyone.

So here I am with the Live player on, thinking about how awesome my avatar will look at the expense of adversely affecting MyStats in how I stack up to the rest of the community.

UPDATE: I am a poor countryman. I found myself looking through my friends achievements and my own achievements while on the Live Event Player. Sent out a few messages to friends too as well. At least I caught that there are random questions popping up during the stream which allow me to choose President Not Sure, which approves of using water, like the kind from the toilet, on crops.

I fear when I jump in, how it is not a liquid >_<

On more slightly serious notes, my Gold Membership is due to expire in under a week. I have a 12-month card (last of my discounted to $30 cards) at the ready, but I may allow my membership to lapse just for a bit. The reason for doing so is because the last time this happened my dashboard offered me 400 Microsoft Points in addition to the 200MSP the rewards program offered for a year of membership from silver/free. Also at that time I was immediately offered on my dashboard an additional month for $1, which I also took but it required me to input a payment method. Another incentive for me to allow my membership to lapse is to be able to remove my payment method from my Microsoft account (probably by phone call), since the $1 for 1 month deal prevents me from removing the payment option from the website (and it was the only thing I had ever purchased on Xbox/Microsoft with that payment method).

My question, what might I miss out on if I were to let my membership drop to silver/free for a few weeks? Fortunately, my birthday month is not imminent, and my gamerscore qualifies for the highest tier of MyAchievements. I did purchase some items on the 28th of September, a day after the MyAchievements opened up and marked me for the "Legend" level of rewards, would those purchases still qualify for the 2% for September which I was still a Gold Member? I looked at the calendar of events, and it doesn't appear I want to participate in any of the listed Community Playdates. However, as stated above, I have already started my Xbox Live Event player for one of the 3 (of the 4) events I need to watch for a Xbox Reward, which appears to not require a gold membership.

Now, it is possible before my membership ends, I choose to renew and render all the previous questions moot, but I'd like to know my options. There is a chance I renew for next week's Deal of the Week featuring the Toy Soldiers games. I've not purchased any of the DLC nor sequel (and its DLC) primarily for the reason that I got hung up on the mission of the first game where you had to use only the airplanes to make sure no one gets through, and I have not touched the game since. So I'm not exactly high on the series.

Watching 30 minutes for each of three debates will get you the avatar armor.

I think you have to watch at least 30 minutes each of 3 out of the 4 debates to get the points. At least that's what the FAQ on Xbox Rewards implied.
